Title: Listing on Finexbox
Post by: mike_spr on April 16, 2020, 03:45:29 PM
Simracer Coin - https://simracercoin.org - was invited to be listed in Finexbox. I was doing a background research on this exchange, that I didn't heard about before, and got some red flags:

https://www.cryptowisser.com/exchange/finexbox/ (https://www.cryptowisser.com/exchange/finexbox/)
https://www.cointelligence.com/exchanges_list/finexbox/ (https://www.cointelligence.com/exchanges_list/finexbox/)

Does anyone have any info on the situation mentioned in this sites?

Thanks in advance!

I don't have because exchange like this is likely to be heard by the majority of the people in the forum for the first time. There's this one thread[1] that I've searched and somebody already asked about this. See how the other members reacted to the exchange.

[1]is Finexbox safe and legit? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5123795.0)

pure scam because a lot of negative reviews about this and also my friend told me that he has a token that is listed there but when trying to sell tokens it seems like the token is locked even though there is no agreement about token lock, oh yes lately many projects that provide airdrop is free but listing on this exchange I suggest never to follow it because this is purely a scam and your token is only as a collection without courage.

This looks like a new exchange and it is my first time of hearing about it and who knows if it is even on coinmarketcap, most times I wonder the need for new exchanges when most are not living up to what's expected of them. As for my own opinion, always be careful of new exchanges especially those which aren't known down to earth by most people because the chances of unfriendly practices will be high. Since I don't know much about this exchange, I can only tell you to make sure you have done enough research about it so that you don't end up losing your funds.

Finexbox has too many bad reviews I think it's better to stay away from any project that wants to list on there, I suspect the exchange is scam and the projects heading there aren't totally clean either

Never heard of the exchange before and many are already saying bad thing about the exchange, since it's new exchange it's not a good idea for new project to get listed on such exchange, most have bad aims and selfish intents

Ive used this once but never used at all.  I am planning to sell some tokens I got from my airdrop but the verification on email always failed to activate the account. Poor exchange to have a system error like this. Imagine on this beginning of registration they have some trouble already what more those who using it for trading? I did understand some complained of others about scam cause a simple problem of mine cant be sold. I was forced to use dex which have lower price set due to this problem. I am not saying there is proven scam but just telling you about my experience thank you.

Yes, because there are too many bad things so I rarely use the Finexbox exchange until now, it's better to stay away first than feel sorry later on, because an exchange whose reputation is already bad will definitely make things we don't want suddenly- arrived.

without you saying scam, finexbox already has a lot of bad reputations, if we search on google with the keyword "finexbox scam" there is a lot of corroborating evidence about it and some members of bitcointalk make thread complaints about finexbox and what is worse besides the error they also often manipulate volume of coin or token who listed in their exchange.

I am just confused which one you are shilling. Is the simracer shit or the exchange  :D Or both? However, I never had seen this exchange before and I think you should not list your coin there. It is risky because if the exchange is a scam one, they will scam your coin investor.

I used to work as CM for one project back in the day and I was getting listing offers from reps of this exchange like every week, the way of pushing their exchange felt quite shady.

LOL, probably both, and most likely using this technique, Don't get tricked by hidden spam on this forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5190848.0).

I never heard of this token and that shit exchange so most probably a new exchange that needs to gain trust otherwise this will be like the some of the exchanges so far, faking their volumes and their liquidity and listing shit tokens.

If you haven't heard about the exchange then personally o
I would recommend you to see how the exchange stores it's fund , if it uses a escrow or safety mechanism of some kind.

There was sad experience working at such sites.  Never heard of such a platform.  Another fraudulent exchange. In addition, you should not invest your assets there. I use only trusted and well-known exchanges.

This is my first time of hearing about such exchange and probably looks news. Also, from my own point of view, if there is any red flag about any exchange, just as you have found then I see it wise looking towards other projects on other exchanges, there will always be new projects to invest in. This is because, it is better to hold on to your funds than risking it on a new exchange with red flags which might not even meet your expectations.

Why finexbox? There are better options like Cryptopia, Stex, Upbit, Probit exchange, they are more popular and have good volumes too, I hardly know or recognize finexbox because not many use this exchange

He was invited to be listed on Finexbox so I don't think it is right if the question is why Finexbox.

Stex and Probit I think it's the same as finexbox, which isn't a big exchange, and you need to know that Cryptopia was closed a year ago
