I mean they only have 1 post and they review services? Whoever do this, doesn't understand that it seems suspicious? I've seen several posts like this, I just took these 2 as an example.

There is a chance they are legit users that received their refund from Betking/Bitsler and were asked to confirm in the thread, or they just did that on their own. I personally don't feel anything extra suspicious about this.

Try using quote when referring to post made on the forum the link to imgur is additional stress, your rank hasn't gotten to get images straight here from imgur without just links

That's impossible to find out whether they are legit users or not. As long as there is no proof, I assume that they are legit users.

What can make it suspicious is that the OP of that thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=565024) has created a self-moderated topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5241045) and deleted two posts till now.
It was better to reply to those who don't trust him instead of deleting their posts.

Till now, no one has claimed that they didn't get back the money. It's too early to judge.
But I still believe that he shouldn't use the power of self-moderation for deleting those posts. Better to replying anyone don't trust him with proof that they are going to refund lost balances or leave them as they are without any reply at least.

To be fair, there is nothing particularly wrong with him deleting these specific posts.

1. Just plain calling him a lying f*ggot.
2. Posting an image of an email he got from BetKing, which is totally unrelated to any issue or the subject of the thread.

He just deleted them because those posts were unrelated with him refunding or not the users. If it was someone saying that they didn't get a refund they deserved, then that would be an possible issue.

Suspicious? Not really... Unverified? Yes...

Obviously, those accounts are essentially "throwaways" with no reputation or history to speak of... but it doesn't automatically mean that whatever they say is untrue... Personally, I just wouldn't put much faith in those replies, and certainly wouldn't be using them as a basis to judge whether the offer is actually legit and resulting in satisfactory outcomes for those affected.

However, given that Bitsler are involved and haven't publicly called it a scam... then chances are the offer is good and users are actually getting paid out their balance up to the $200 max.


As for self-mod... contentious issues like this are always going to attract more than their fair share of trolls and angry users... I can understand why the thread has been created as "self-moderated"... and with the deleted posts service from LoyceV, it's not like they can really hide anything anyway.

In any case, I would probably have reported the 2 deleted posts to moderators anyway.

No, but you can simply quote the post to make it easier for others to read or see the post without going to another site to see it.
