I work at Bitcoin Since 2016, when I heard the name of this Bitcoin on Facebook for the purpose of SSC Exam, I finished testing and found out what Bitcoin is, then found a friend from Facebook freindlist who knows best about Bitcoin. Through it I found out about the various Revenue Share site, the site I remember clearly because the first online site of my life, the name of the site was - MPA (MypaingAds) there was 20% profit per month, then I was invest  100$ on that site. I corrected 100$  from a girlfriend, but a few days after I invested, the MPA site scammed. Which causes a lot of trouble for me, because I am a poor house boy, my dream is big, all dreams are broken, after scamming Mpa site and looking for how to earn from online, then the older brother told me if you can  So invest in Bitcoin, because he  has Know,  not have money in my hands, I learned something about Bitcoin from him and then started working with Bitcoin, then bought some Altacoin. In addition to Bitcoin, there will be about 20 types of Token + Coin, among them - Pkt, Opq, Dat, viuly, Aion, and more. What was it, in January of 2017 I saw in my wallet almost 90kUSD!, the value of Coin + Token! But I still didn't know how to exchange Coin + Token, because I had bought these Coin + Token friends with that older brother / Facebook friend, and in the meantime that Facebook friend introduced me to someone else, because he was know better about Crypto Understand better, so I tell him to sell my Coin + Token, he asked for my private key, and I gave him my Privet key, but he killed all my money. , Which is why I still cannot go back to my previous life, I cannot tell anyone of my friends about this arrangement, because they call me crazy! They don't want to believe that they can make money online, so when I tell them I'm crazy or mad, nobody trusts my story. After this incident, I could no longer work in 2017, because I could not understand the mind, I became a lot of crazy, everyone was mad at me, then started working again in late 2018, because I would do something from crazy dreams online. I got some money by working at 20, bought a computer with that money, and ended up getting married as well, now I have no funds because I have no funds.  but after that, people called me crazy but I didn't quit my job. I'm trying to make dreams come true with Bitcoin, if all my Coin + token values ​​rise again like 2017, then crazy. Dreams will come true, people say that Bitcoin means cheating, always taking away all the money, but I know that deceit has not given me Bitcoin people in our society. So even though I'm crazy I still dream about BitcoinBTC

Cool story bro, I admire that after what had happened, you still involved yourself in crypto specially in bitcoin. Yes, 2016-2017 was like the golden age, because the price literally goes off the roof, and we reach all-time-high. Although back then it seems that you lack understanding of what wallet is and how to protect them from scammers. That was a lot of money to lose, so my only concern is that did you learn from your mistakes? Do you know how to protect your private keys and not give or trust it to someone else? So just a friendly advise, educate yourself first so that you're going to achieved your goals in the end. Best of luck.

Concerned about hearing your story, man. it looks like you are still here to rise from adversity in the past?
That's a good step in my opinion, you can learn from mistakes and can get a lot of knowledge here, keep getting up and achieve your ideals in the past that have been lost and show that you are not a crazy person.  Lol

People may call us crazy now but Bitcoin in the future will potential replace the monetary system especially with Economic instability arises. They can laugh at us all they want even discourage us from it and call it rat poison like the famous stock investor Waren Buffet.
People that has negative opinion and perspective of Bitcoin because they only know that's its a pyramid and dont have any idea what is it.

I wouldn't say that is a dream of crazy, but it is gives people a dream that someday all of us will be millionaires or at least we will have the financial freedom that we all have been waiting for. As in your case, you've been there if you haven't been scam by someone by $90k, so that is a big amount to be honest.

Anyway, just continue with their dream, and I wish you and the rest of the crypto enthusiast to reach their goal, caveat, it's going to be very tough road, lots of scammers around so definitely we need to stay away from them and then bitcoin's volatility, so we need to be mentality tough as well.

Those people that tell you are the ones. They don't understand what bitcoin is and soon when it pumps as the described to you, they'll get back to you and plead for sorry for calling you like that. We all have dreams and we're all just waiting for that turn to come.

So you were scammed by some HYIP(high yield investment program) scam and after that you gave your private key to a random guy.Damn OP,you should a write a novel about how to get scammed and what not to do in the cryptocurrency business.I'm glad that you have learned from your mistakes and kept your faith in Bitcoin.4 years ago,I was into the dream that Bitcoin is "get-rich quick" method,but know I realize that BTC is just a financial asset.There's risk involved in trading financial assets.

You've got quite a long story right there. Here's what I can say. Yes, we should dream big, but we should be very careful in pursuing it. We might be attracted to get-rich-quick schemes because of it. We should perhaps try to avoid looking for shortcuts. 20% profit per month is an offer that is too good to be true. That was a red flag that says avoid it.

It appears to me that you have the penchant to invest without first knowing enough background of that which you are investing into. You seem to be impulsive. Right after getting scammed by MPA, you started buying all those shitcoins without even knowing what are those and how to convert those into real money. And worse, you bought those shitcoins from the friend of the friend of your brother's friend. And even much worse, you gave that stranger your private key. He got your money killed.

If I were you, I'd be patient and stick to HODLing Bitcoin. Do not entrust your future into your shitcoins.

Lucky you. I always regret for not holding my coins back than. I dream, only if I had left some coins on a wallet and forgot about it and would find it back someday. But once done cannot be undone. I transacted a lot of coins when the price was around $200. It has now increased by 50 times but I was not holding a single coin on that transition. Hope no one would repeat my mistake. I won't either.

For someone who had more than $1k of crypto, learning how exchange and wallet works is a must. OP, don't trust anyone with your money. Crypto is irreversible. If they fuck you up then that's that.

On top of that, nobody knows what will happen in the future. Manage your funds wisely, don't gamble all your money on something so volatile (you know there have been multiple cases where people do suicide after the 2017 boom). Luck is also a part of this. So, hope your luck is not as bad as the others.

Why would you give your private keys to someone you don't know, just a random person you met on Facebook? Why didn't you look for a way to sell your coins, instead of giving it to someone else? Seriously, you brought this upon yourself, though I still feel sorry for you, but it could have been avoided so easily if you did the right thing. Google is always for anyone that needs information, when I started new, I wasn't asking for information, rather I kept using Google to research .

xD I wonder how far fetched a tale people could tell you? It is amazing but even if you make up complete nonesense there will always be at least someone who believes it.

You care about multiplying your money in the future but first, you have to care also not to fall into a scam. And that makes your life becomes crazy because you won't have time to open your mind and knows what best but you are just in a rush to invest without knowing anything about it.
And now you realize it and it keeps bothering you. Should you care about investing crypto back again? Why not if you still have the courage, besides, you have learned already and it for sure you are now much cautious in making a decision.

I've always seen the most interesting stories of how people got in touch with crypto. Mine is one of the less interesting out there though, I read about it, liked it and started supporting it, and that was that. I've seen people who've lived so many interesting things thanks to crypto I can't help but wish everyone good fortune, hopefully everyone jumps ship from FIAT and starts using crypto.

I can't how other people would like to play some trick to a person you know nothing. It is really sad but it becomes more when we keep ourselves unaware of what we are doing. That is why we need to become knowledgable so no one could hit us and underestimate us. And I can't really take this one...and this gives a big hint for everyone especially giving trust to the people who can't also be trusted.

I felt lament to know bitcoin in 2017 ago because in the previous years I supposed to have known bitcoin and having with a large amount. Yeah, my friend was told me in 2011 about bitcoin but I just ignore him and assumed that he had a fake dream. At that time, digital money hadn't been known by most people in my country. The people just use money fiat and only save their money into the bank account, never know digital money especially the creator of it is anonymous and that was really crazy.

Six years have passed and I saw the circumstances economy of my friend had changed drastically, he can bought anything he wants but didn't do anything. I was curious and ask him, where he got money? he just said bitcoin made my dream came true. I can't imagine how much his money at that time, clearly he bought bitcoin when its price $20 with $200 and he just hold them in a hardware wallet.

Now, I just am chagrined and blame myself. I didn't have an open-minded to know something new. I too comfortable with stay in my comfort zone, I supposed to be a rich man if I took my suggestion's friend. But, I will change it and start with hard determination and I'll hold as much as I can and collect bitcoin as much as possible, I guess nothing is late.

Dream is good because it is important in order to have determination to work hard and work smart but the thing is we need to have a dream that is achievable. There are many people who have big dreams and they achieved it because they managed to focus and manage to work hard to do it. Right now many people are expecting that the price of bitcoin will rise, I also part of that people but I managed my expectations very well.

Investing is a important steps for us to achieve our dreams which is the financial freedom. We cannot achieve if if we do not know how to take risks. Risks can make us rich but we should manage it very well in order for us to create our own luck.

There are really people that will take advantage of you especially those that will trust people from social media. I just hope that the OP had encountered this forum earlier when he was still very new in crypto as he might have encountered those strategies of scammers like asking for private keys and others. But that was already a hard lesson for him. It is good to know that after all the unfortunate events in his life with crypto, he is still here and trying to get back on his feet. Good mindset. As long as we are alive, there's hope.

I am sorry to hear your story. Just hold your coins like before, and don't make the same mistake as what you did before. You have a bad experience before, so you don't have to do the same thing. I am sure you will have a better life in the future because you already got the bad things in the past, and now, you still need to be patient to wait for the next bull run that will happen soon.

It can be on both side the people who have earned millions in bitcoin it can be a crazy dream but who have in buy on higher in late 2017 might be in some loss here but over all when anything with limited supply and more adoption price will definitely will higher in future. Before when bitcoin are still not too popular many people getting an attempt to make scams because it does not already get any reputation if it is profitable or not. By the time comes after we are getting more experience in the world of cryptocurrency we face now different challenges and become skilled and knowledgeable about the things we are doing. Before when I was a newbie into the world of bitcoin there is a friend helps me a lot what do I need to do to make earning and he always said is always make some research and pay attention to your works bitcoin is not just an earning platform it is good for strategy too to make more profits.


From that year that the bitcoin becomes popular and getting richer immediately by just having investment many people today want to join too and would like to make more income by that year of 2017 after the bitcoin falls they saw the potential of this coin to make another profit but even it takes for over a years they continuously making an investment on it until the market price goes up again and now the halving is coming there is a chance that the bitcoin beat it's highest market price again.

I feel sad reading your life story about how you first started to know Bitcoin until your friend killed all of your assets worth $ 90k.
What should be a lesson for you in the future is not to trust your friends, let alone share a private key that you should know. Private key is very important to keep the confidentiality of anyone.

Great story here, I hope I can be able to follow your idea. Sometime I feel doubt to hold bitcoin because it volatility price. As you may know 2017 ago bitcoin had made a lot of people got a lot of profit, even they can be able to get double money just in a few day. But when 2018 came everything changed, bitcoin price touch its lower price ans made a lot of people got a huge lost as well. That situation always make me afraid to store bitcoin for a long time. Maybe I only can use bitcoin for trading place not for long term investment because it will make me comfortable.

The crypto world does give us a great opportunity, but it needs to be recognized that like all investment products, cryptocurrency does not always go up. There are times when corrections, and we must prepare the right strategy. There are times when selling assets is the best choice. The key is that you understand what you are investing, do not easily trust other people, let alone just communication via cyberspace.

This is quiet sad. I guess you must have put yourself together for sharing this story. I discovered that a lot of people that have negative thought about crypto are generally those that are either scammed by participating in ponzi scheme or those that could not forgive themselves when they could have made fortune in crypto. I got to know about crypto around 2012 when I also used to participate in ponzi scheme. Not quiet long before Liberty Reserve was shutdown. I even downloaded the desktop wallet. Then it used to be available on blockchain.info. During this period, I didnt understand what it is and how it works and I do not bother to make research on it. To me, I saw the bitcoin wallet I downloaded as a mere software not different from many other ones I have installed. I think the problem most of us have is inability to sit down and do research on things and discover I that could have impacted our life in years to come. If you and I could have gone further and discover what exactly crypto was, maybe we would have been a billionaire by now

Regarding work, I think the world of Bitcoin is real, so traders, I think it's real work. The problem is not many people understand. My opinion is that as long as I don't harm them, I still believe in Bitcoin.
