The US State Department has confirmed that China could be conducting secret nuclear tests, which is in violation of the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC). Furthermore this is an alarming situation as the world is already struggling to contain coronavirus, and the last thing we need to see is a nuclear tests and a nuclear war. This article also states that China prepared the virus in a lab to show that it’s superior than America, but it seems this plan of theirs has spectacularly backfired on them. It’s also pertinent to note that these accusations by American will harm their relationship with China, and it’ll be interesting to see how these two super powers will continue balancing their delicate relationship.

The world is acting again as if it was abandoned, leaders becoming greedy and stretching muscles just to show how superior they are, this is so wrong and it will lead to another world conflict, the continuation of a holocaustic event that will surely happen in our time.
We should prepare for the worse of this dramatic world event, I hope it won't happen but the word is absolute like a code who was executed to commit and will never back down until the command is fulfilled.

I read an article regarding this a few days ago. although China claims that there was no nuclear test happened it is hard to believe with china's history of lying and covering up things even when there is a proof provided. it is as if the china is provoking other countries that they can attack other countries even in this crisis.

They have also been expanding territory in the South China Sea even though with dispute in other countries China still continues to build military infrastructure. Their really taking advantage of the situation of the virus which is intriguing with the fact that it only took a few months for them so solve without the need of vaccine and only using with lockdown and home quarantine.

I hope that is not the real news because if that really happens, we don't know how big the impact of that secret Nuclear. We already see how Covid-19 impact for all countries, and we are not recovered from that virus, and many people still suffer. If that news is real, I think that can trigger the USA to do something, and maybe the USA will face confrontation with their secret weapon too. That can trigger World War 3.

I don't think China needs to test their nuclear weapons they already know they work, anything else can be computer simulated.

Donald Trump seems to focus all the frustrations of the impact of the virus in America on China, I know China themselves are not being straight with the world and with how secretive they have become in the past few months, they may be hiding something from the world. But Donald Trump looks to be focusing more on what China does than in efforts to combat the virus in the United States of America.

Trump doesn't want to take the blame for handling the "virus like an ordinary flu that was meant to just go away" he rather is taking much of that anger and laxity out on China making too many claims and assumptions on what happened, what they are doing and planning to do. All this blames is helping neither of the countries, Trumps and Americas concern now should be how to stop the spread of Covid-19 in USA, not a war of blames that could start a real war.

Oh, for a politician its always easier to blame everything in some fuzzy external scapegoat than admitting a mistake.

I wonder if Americans would still vote for Trump again?

China signed the CTBT just because they have collected enough data years before so that they can simulate any nuclear test on their super computers.

This reminds me that I heard someone in US accused China of trying to acquire nuclear weapons in 2010s while China has acquired in 1964.

Key part of this that you're missing -- the fact that China MAY be conducting secret nuclear testing. That's all that US intelligence agencies are saying and that's all that news agencies are saying as well. There's a concern that they MAY be doing so, not that they've confirmed they're doing this.

Unsure on why they would want to be testing nuclear weapons. All I can think of is telling the US that they have these at their disposable if they want to use them -- but I mean, the whole think with nuclear warfare is that if you're using your nuclear weapon you're killing yourself in the process.
