My Question Is, How to trust someone in Bitcoin Transaction?
There is no way to be sure someone is trustworthy, but taking a look at a users trust profile can provide some information about the users trade history in the past, to know if transactions held with other users went perfectly. But this cannot guarantee you to trust that user, and for example some users do not have any trust feedback in their trust page(no negative or positive) so just use a trusted escrow service in the transaction, that is the only way imo to be sure you'll not lose your funds.

Ask for proof that what they are offering is legit. Whether it's good or services, there is always a way to verify like asking photos and other proofs. If you haven't done any deal with that seller/buyer before, you just have to rely on other people's opinion/feedback. If you can't do that, just use escrow as Coyster suggested.

In Bitcoin transaction trust is not safe. Just protect yourself and get a reliable escrow in your transactions
You can find some escrows here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910.0

If you're talking about the forum I guess this is the best feedback where you could relay to know if someone is trusted.

For sure most likely someone with a lot of positive feedback about a transaction is the one that you could trust just basing on his feedback, you should still be careful making transactions to someone else.
Look for someone trusted here in the forum that could do escrow here are some recommended bitcointalk escrow.

In Bitcoin transaction trust is not safe. Just protect yourself and get a reliable escrow in your transactions
You can find some escrows here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910.0

If you're not talking about the members here in the forum or just random people online theirs no way you could know.

Just use escorw if you are dealing with crypto currencies with individuals and the list can be seen by the above links. :)

If you are going to trade cryptocurrencies to other cyptos then make sure the exchange you are choosing for trading is legit.

The easiest way to fix this is if you are having any doubts to the one who you transacting with you will always have the option to opt out an escrow. Even though Satoshi have specifically told that Bitcoin is a solution for P2P transaction availing a middleman for holding payments is something accepted in a Bitcoin transaction since you can never be to sure someone is looking to scam you in the web. If you ask for escrow to the other party and he made several excuses not too this is also a good indicator that the one who you transacting with is just there to scam you and you should back off right away.

Trusting somebody in cryto trading is a high risk that should not be taken unless it is your best of friends even as that don't take the risk.

Aside from escrow system in place the next factor to consider is the trust system.
When these two are in place I believe you can do business with anybody without fear of trust.

I don't think that there would be a ways for us to identify whether the one we are talking to is a trustworthy person because if that is possible then I think there would be no more cases about fraud, hack, scam, etc. We cannot say that the person we are talking to that he is not saying the true so the best things that we should do is always be careful, do not let him know some of your personal information, trust no one in this virtual world because there are so many hackers and scammers you will meet from this forum.

Trusting somebody in cryto trading is a high trade that should not be taken unless it is your best of friend- even as that don't take the risk.
Indeed, the only person that we can give our trust is our friend and our bestfriend, they will not fool us especially when it terms of money, but there are also some incident having fooled person by his bestfriend, so always still be careful, even your best friend can fool you, so always keep your personal information on you.

Not for everything and it must be a certain person who cant prove anything. In this forum we have a small number of trusted users and you will find them if you need escrow, they are staff, admins, and people who have valid proof of ownership. We cant say that everyone here cant be trusted and only those who cant prove anything that cant be trusted.

Do a small analysis such as asking for proof of ownership and use a trusted escrow to make trades involving money. This is the solution.

bitcoin transaction involves two people that agreed to transfer the bitcoin coin using the blockchain platform with the address. it is a decentralized platform without a third party and the transaction happens fast and efficient much better than fiat transaction. the best opption of buying and selling bitcoin is o use an exchange. avoid telegram platforms where scammers are looking for people to scam and also ponzi sites that offer high percentage.

There's no way to you can identify a scammer you met in a social media. But I'll make use of this forum as an example of how to identify trusted people, always cheat the trust feedback on whoever you're transacting with and also make use of escrow.
Head to this part of the forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 and you can create topics for any trades you want to make.

If someone offers you something, ask him or her for provide some proof. Many times many people offer something huge but in reality they have nothing. If you pay them before, they will scam your money.

Another solution for this is to use escrow. If you trade in this forum, there are many trusted members who provide escrow services. If use Escrow, there is less chance to become a scam.

Trust points would be a good indicator to determine whether a user is that trustworthy. Although, there are people here who are trustworthy but are not having trust points. But it would be understood already that you are just wanting for assurance so it should not be surprising if you would look in such aspect. Also, trust score is not enough, check who gave him the trust point, it is a matter of checking the credibility of a trust point which would further give weight to that point. If that person who gave him trust point is having a good image or simply if he is wellknown in this forum, it would be safe to make transaction to that person who earned the trust point because those who have good image in this forum won't give points if the user do not deserve it.

To know that a service such as an online and anonymous bitcoin transaction is legitimate, one must sacrifice whether he sends first or he receives first. Here in forum, you'll find a lot of trusted users whom had already been transacted with other forum users hence gaining a trust tag, in which is a helpful tool to provide other users whom to be trusted and whom are not. Yet if some stranger approached you for a transaction, better not invest nor initiate first. If he should be trusted, he sends first.

Before trust, anyone or any exchange just reverify from your side. If you are n't sure about the exchange just trade for a small amount and see if it works for you then you can invest further.

This was a good idea, up until the 'sending little amount' part. Users should always verify any individual they plan on entering into trades with, this includes, but is not limited to; checking their previous trade history, do not simply follow their trust ratings, but use it as a pointer to investigate their trustworthiness, also ensure they are the true owners of the identity you are entering a trade with, and always apply caution.

If you are not sure about an exchange do not enter into it or use a trusted escrow.

The use of escrow is more likely to cause damage To see if someone is genuine and trustworthy for the Bitcoin business you need to make a good check on who you will be dealing with If you are not a trustworthy person it is better not to do the transaction If you can't find a trusted person learn about his various sites plan and research and then make a transaction But don't go for less than your full potential Do a small amount and then increase the number of transactions.

Well, if you are trading on localbitcoins or paxful, check their past trading history. Rule is, never buy bitcoin from someone without an escrow, no matter how good their reputation is. And when you sell, verify their ID to make sure the money they are sending you isn't from a source that's illegal.

Instead of dealing with a individual you can deal with a exchange as you can see on platforms like trust pilot or social media that what do people say about the exchange and what is their services pros and cons. But, if you are dealing with and individual you do not have any such info.

Why would you want to do Bitcoin transaction with someone? If that person wants to sell an item to you wake sure you meet face to face and confirm if the item is intact, do not send money to unknown people online, if you want to buy Bitcoin go to exchange

When it comes to transactions in Bitcoin you can only trust an exchange, buying from unknown person is more risky, if that person run away with your Bitcoin it's entirely your fault, even with exchanges you can only trust top exchanges not new exchanges

In the majority of platforms, you can trust people by their ranks or reputation, but there are cases that rank means nothing. The reputation that is built for several years is hard to attain, so look for someone who has it I guess it is safer to trade with those guys but the risk is always there. If you are really concerns about trust in trading with other people why not trade on exchanges instead? no hassle no 3rd party involve just you and the exchange and more convenient.

You are right it is not right to trust anyone in Bitcoin transactions The risk is high Therefore, use your talents and skills to analyze different places that are more reliable, then invest. You can also get help from a trusted person. If you can do the analysis properly with more time in the market you will be able to understand which site is better for bitcoin transactions.

There are exchanges that mediate and insure the buyer and seller. It’s more reliable for me to make a deal.

Okay, so just because a person has created an exchange does not automatically mean that its trustworthy. Anyone, can make an exchange, and there's even various white label software out there now. Before, using an exchange you need to ideally do extensive research on the people who are behind the exchange, because they may well be the same people you are trading with on this forum.

Regulated, and registered exchanges are usually the ones to go through, as they're often governed by laws, and other regulations, but ideally you should be taking a look at the customer reviews that people have made, and even then that's not always a good conclusion as there's various bias' that people can inject in their views, and reviews of the service.

It is better to make a deal for bitcoin investment but those who will be made a deal need to make a deal by verifying how reliable they are. This is because there are many sites that scam after executing the contract in which case you need to determine the correct information about the companies.

In life trust NO one, but on other words I don't think if you have large amounts of transaction to do I recommend you using the source you are familiar with like luno or probably a reliable escrow group that is well known and trust in time.

gate.io

Gate.io was BTER which got 'hacked' to the tune of several thousand BTC. They started off saying they would pay back their customers with earnings from fees. Then they got bored and relaunched as Gate.io after having paid back a derisory amount.

That makes them at the very least lazy assholes, more likely they were the hackers and gave up pretending to give a shit when enough time had passed. Do not be shocked when lightning strikes twice.

Don't trust strangers with your money especially those who pm you posing to be "experienced traders". Most are probably scams...I had a similar experience on telegram. I saw testimonies of people in a crypto channel I was in...turned out it was all a scam. I lost some $$$ but I got smarter.

This is why the trust system was developed. Though, I don't know the reason or way the various trust levels apportioned a  user is being done but, it's quite effective to the way I know it because, it measures the worth and integrity of a user though, your discretion is advised when using the trust system.
Some users such as Lauda though has chosen to live for obvious reasons best know to him, respect to Lauda, has been known to hold a considerable number of Bitcoin as a third party in some transactions. That's integrity and trust system in action right there. A value modst users need to develop as it goes beyond greed and earning with what ever means.
In essence, there is no extremely right means to trust someone on the forum completely but the trust system gives a clue on a few relatively safe users though, people change so, your discretion is always advised.

Exchange is created to avoid transaction with people directly, why? because there is a 100% possibility he will run after the transaction, I suggest you avoid those kinds of deals, if you don't know them directly, people taking advantage if they know you are new after the deal I'm sure they will disappear.

The trust system and feedback on the person is not conclusive but that will serve as your best basis in order to determine if such user can be trusted. In addition, you can also consider their history and contribution in the forum as those may help you in determining their position in the forum.

Warning though, recently, there were trusted members on the forum who took advantage of their positive feedback and they decided to default on hefty amount of loans. Like what I mentioned, the trust system is not a conclusive evidence that can guarantee you a successful and safe transaction. So if you are dealing with large amounts of transactions in the forum, I highly advise for you to hire an escrow or a third-party that can hold such funds for the time being.

It's a bad move trading bitcoin someone when we have many exchanges that have good reputations and good customer services, exchanges are more reliable for buying crypto coins than buying from someone who can one day decide to escape with your money, if you don't want to end up getting scammed it's better you start dealing with exchanges instead.

Until I started telling them that we have exchanges available to buy and sell bitcoin at any time and Volumes are always present, there are millions of buyers and over 100 exchanges too
