If addresses A and B are spent in a single transaction, they will get connected to each other into a wallet. If addresses B and C are spent in another transaction, address C will go to that wallet and get connected with A and B. If there is no wallet associated with an address, it means that address has never been spent with any other address in one transaction. For example, if you go to wallet number 967 (https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin/wallet/967) and then click on "show addresses", you will see a list including 7 addresses. Bitinfocharts (https://bitinfocharts.com/) shows the balance over time for addresses and wallets (A collection of multiple addresses) as well. Title: Re: Bitinfocharts.com what is wallet id number? If they don't know who controls the wallet, they just give it a number. The site is doing basic blockchain analysis and simply grouping "related" addresses together. A bit like the old "walletexplorer.com (https://www.walletexplorer.com/)"...
