Title: Slight improvement to "activity times" spreadsheet
Post by: lucasholder on April 20, 2020, 02:18:06 PM
I slightly improved the spreadsheet form from FAQ: Everything you need to know about forum 'activity, account ranks and merit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0) by displaying a "next period" cell so that you don't have to manually go through the list of dates to figure it out. Thought I'd share it here since I'm not sure who owns the original spreadsheet and can't comment on the FAQ post.

I check the spreadsheet that has a column with a header as Simple time. What is simple time? I don't check but I guess you meant it is GMT time. Even if it is GMT time, you should edit the header to GMT time. If it is another time zone, you should also edit it with appropriate time zone.

I checked it with https://www.epochconverter.com/, your Simple time is GMT time.
The first one in your spreadsheet, is at 1436270000 (UNIX) ~ Tuesday, July 7, 2015 11:53:20 AM (GMT time)

One more suggestion, you should differentiate past checkpoints and future checkpoints by different colors in the spreadsheet. It saves time for readers to find the next checkpoint.

It saves time for readers to find the next checkpoint.

I think the 'next checkpoint' that OP adds is doing this purpose. If a user want to look for the next date, a simple search to the next checkpoint will give them the baseline to scroll up or down. The 'simple time' part is the original writing of the spreadsheet source by jambola2. He seems to be offline since last year.
