Title: [Possible Scam] Stakedwallet Ponzi Scheme, Promising up to 1.5% daily return.
Post by: sujonali1819 on April 21, 2020, 04:23:03 PM
What Happened: Stakedwallet.io / App (https://stakedwallet.io/) is a crypto wallet and they are promising to pay their customer up to 1.5% daily to who are staking their crypto in the wallet. It looks very fishy.
I have created a thread in Beginners & Help (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5242281.msg54267807#msg54267807) to be clarify about this site is a Ponzi scheme.

Bitcointalk profile: I did not find any post directly made by any user in bitcointalk. But I have found a user who is wearing the site link in profile website place. user: JasonBriggs (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2793685)  Profile screenshot (https://i.postimg.cc/MTNWY40P/Screenshot-12.jpg)

The "team" section of their website is no longer available, but there is an archived version on TheWaybackMachine if anyone wants to take a deeper look into the team. Just the fact that they deleted this section is shady.

Stakedwallet vs Westland Storage

According to CoinTelegraph (and that is only to pile up on the red flag that logic should raise), there are multiple reports that connect Stakedwallet with  Westland Storage, which was a Ponzi scheme that ended up in an exit scam.

See: https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-staking-wallet-offers-15-daily-returns-ponzi-in-progress?_ga=2.45711716.1567706818.1587458585-306601143.1587458585

Westland Storage was hunting investor money in the same way. But the Trustpilot reviews are really very interesting for both sites. Maybe paid reviews. If not then how a scam/Ponzi scheme site gets these huge excellent reviews.

Some alert: Maybe the site did not scam yet. But very possible to exit scam in the near future. So just stay away from this type of investment platform.

Just by looking at their fixed daily earnings as well as a 50% daily referral commission (https://stakedwallet.io/partners) alone you'll see that this is a scam. They are offering 50% earnings of the "income" your friend earns for you, you know how unstable that is for any kind of investment? That's pretty big considering that the legit ones don't even pay any kind of referral rewards to their users. Good catch here @OP we need to be on high alert when it comes to StakedWallet entering BCT.

Its a possible scam and definitely everyone should stay far from this project. How could they promise 1.5% daily return? If we calculate their 1.5% return plan for 30 days period than its 45% per month which is completely unrealistic. I think who have a minimum Knowledge about ponzi's will not put their foot on this trap for sure.

As i am seeing from here that you mentioned a user who is promoting this project but I haven’t got their official ANN on forum yet and maybe they will make entry anytime. You can edit your topic title by including "Possible scam" which fits best for this project.

Daily 0,6 up to 1,5% Stakewallet vs 0,01117% Freebitco.in (trusted site)

Definitely a ponzi, no doubt at all.

Plus even if it was possible earn these ludicrous high % they should clearly indicate the sources of income/business.
thanks for share.

The reviews also don't look very natural, I'd normally expect to see about 70-85% 5-4*, the next highest should be a 3* and then 1* with 2 having a small number but not insignificant.

Are they not using their own coin here? So you stake their coin and get 1.5% daily, it's not actually that they're directly a scam it's that their policy on interest rates will quikcly devalue the coin (if they aren't scam).

they claim to be staking bitcoin, litecoin and many PoW coins like these two. that alone is a clear sign of being a scam. not to mention that staking no coin will ever give 1.5% profit per day. that would inflate the supply of said coin to ridiculous amounts and kill it within a month.

In what way have you come up to this?
The link in the profile is a referral link, every customer on the profile has it.

Strange, when I attempt to hit https://stakedwallet.io it just errors out for me.  I guess it sounds like something I should avoid anyhow  ;D

If I remember well, something similar was done also by TradeFortress, years ago, when he offered a HYIP Ponzi scheme. Of course, in the end thousands of BTC were lost (stolen).

For those not familiar with TradeFortress, read more here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=248803.0).

Don't let yourselves tricked by a HYIP. Such things don't exist!

They posted on Facebook that they have technical works or something.

I am not sure anybody already victimized or not. But it very sure that this wallet/site will scam people and will run away with people's money. And it also very sure that most of the Trustpilot reviews are fake and paid. I will not trust the site Trustpilot from now. You guys also should aware of Trustpilot reviews.

I asked them about what happened and they said that domain was put on hold so they made a mirror.

And I saw that people changed their review to positive. I had a delay with a deposit during all this stuff with technical works, but they pushed it forward manually.

The site still does not work for me. Don't sure what's going on there.

Where do you see that people are changing their review negative to positive? My little suggestion if you don't want to lose your capital just avoid this site. or one day you will come here and will say you are scammed by this site. Good Luck

In their community, there are a lot of mind-changing posts.
I understand that it is not something you will believe in, but still

Here
you can post or read any post and you will get what I mean.
I didn't invest more than 10 USD in this wallet, the income is from the referral program.

I already showed the proofs, can send recent ones

I've sent proofs in this topic earlier. I don't get the 'partners'  question.
I meant that there are success stories and different people with experience share their thoughts on the wallet, that's mind changing in my opinion. There is a topic started by me, but it seems nobody cares lol.
Any involvement in crypto is a risk, I`m a new one as well, but this is the first thing that anybody realizes.

Why didn't you do the same about asking names etc?

Also, they have a special program for customers and give their personal mail and telegrams to communicate if the website is down. I think that's a sign of trusted support.
What company will allow their workers to talk with customers outside of the website where are no rules to what to talk about?

It up to yourself to believe in such stories on community or no. Youtube is more neutral about them. I saw yesterday a video where the dude is using wallet but 100% sure that it is a Ponzi scheme.
Why using it then lol.

I mean I understand that they talk not so much, but I use it while it's working.

Well, some of the questions can be answered only by team members, I have no idea why you think that I`m a team member all of sudden. Just because I like a project and try to give it some credits? That seems like paranoia to me lol.

You can just google "StakedWallet CEO"

I found this page
https://www.beermoneyforum.com/attachments/stakedwallet-directors-png.

After I asked about this in the support they told me that it is indeed the old page and now it is on re-design.

And if you search on Twitter and Youtube for the wallet you will find a lot of good reviews. This logic and can work backwards.

I said I invested a minimum, isn't that how things got tested? I can send you proofs of income and successful withdrawal if you need to, but this is my personal experience.

The question about paying to team members is absurd, no one will tell you about workers salary in support lol

I`m not a representative of the company, why do you ask questions that I cannot give the answer for? This is ridiculous.

Re-designing what? The preparation of how to give birth to a new exit scam? They aren't on re-design but quarantine and this will last forever on their end. ;)

Really? Twitter? You can buy a few followers for like $10-$30 and $50 if you are looking for high quality followers and pay some more to write for you. And YouTube? Ahh it consists full of shit videos where people just create and post their (and some even post duplicated) content to make money through the displayed ads there and nothing. They don't give a damn about whether the information they're giving is true or not, they just want the money and that's it.

Let's say they've just hired people to speak good for them (not saying that you're one of them but many may be, and they can misguide you about the project and make you invest a big amount after brainwashing about it). Trust me, either they are from the family of Bill Gates or they are simply going to bang you soon by running away with all your remaining money. What if they stop paying from the 45th day? 67.5 is what you got back from your capital and the remaining? Lost?

As far as I know, they changed team members or something like that.

Bruh then what platform do you even consider legit?

For now, my deposit there is on 33rd day, so after 45  I will tell you what's up :D

Staking at 1.5% daily? Really? That sounds a very short term investment. It does sound great for now but in the long run I am so sure the people managing will run out of funds. The one who will truly lose on this kind of scheme are the new investors/stakers. The old stakers/investors should have already made profit.

I guess it happens right now. :D
Facebook Page gone.
Youtube Channel gone.
Website gone.

What you have now? XD

Well there goes the fishy-ness. Promising profits like this earning 1.5% daily are always scams. There is no way someone would offer that kind of profit in a lifetime. Even banks can offer very little interest. Sad to those who used the wallet and lost their funds.  :( :( :(

best questions at all for now:
I invested all my money! what can i do now?

and i just think: cry silence XD

People are very greedy always. And always want to grab some free money. But they forgot that money is not so easy things. Thus they are getting trapped and lost almost in the end.

Btw the trust ratings are changed little bit. The bad reviews was 4% when this topic is created and now it has increased to 10%.

Attention! It seems this scam arrived to the end.
They switch domain from .biz to .io .... both website are off line!

if it wasn't enough  according last review on trustpilot there are several comments about "exit scam".
