Just cast your mind back and try to recollect how you were when you were about to Start with BTC and  the forum:
*we would have been blind and ignorant without them.
*We would have been been deceived by our government leaders to follow their footsteps.
*we would still have been colonial regime
* We would have been poor without Bitcoin and Bitcoin forum

If not anything we are better of among our peers since we do learn a lot, we are able to generate a  lot and we do help a lot through our donations that is why we are been envied.  I know many  will disagree and think we keep BTC and the forum running which is like 90% true.
But the single TRUTH is we need bitcoin and the forum than it need us  :) :) :)

At the early stage of bitcoin, this forum serve as the best community for the movement. Most of the early projects have reference to a thread on CMC. It served more than bitcoin objective then and gave opportunity to hang around the forum. The tangible thing I missed so much is the trust for members and technical expertise. We are more into the economic aspect of the space which everyone can relate with outside the forum, it will demand more work in the long-term.

This forum isn't the alpha and omega of Bitcoin knowledge, you can learn a lot about Bitcoin from reading good books, blog posts from experts, listening to podcasts or watching videos, or even reading bitcoin's developers mailing list.


You're assigning to Bitcoin properties that it doesn't have - it can't solve poverty or topple empires, it even struggles to achieve wider adoption first.

You can find quite a lot of different information about Bitcoin, even if you do not use this site, just at the moment, it can be called a hegemon among similar forums of cryptocurrency topics. The rest are inferior in various important aspects.

 But we must admit, this forum offers a lot information than other forums out there. Also, those knowledge I build right now was came from this forum. I have interested about how this bitcoin and blockchain works and how trading is beneficial to us. And i was a total noob back then, though there are also some vague terms and topic before that i kinda do not understand well but with an urge to learn, pairing with other resources like youtube is a great help.
 
 But at some point, if ever i never knew this forum exists and my interest in bitcoin is strong. Some websites will also give some info that i need, so it is  not fair to say that we are poor without bitcoin and btt forum.

I join this forum about 10 days ago since I'm bored about lockdown in my country. I search about top 10 investment in this years, and I found bitcoin as the most greatest investment. The return of bitcoin is really high, and unexpected.

I join this forum to learn about bitcoin's more and more, and how it's work. I have already learn from youtube and blog, but most of them not really explain about bitcoin is it, only promote his service and using his referring code. I have join to cryptotalk and reddit too, but both of them only shit post and spamming. When I join this forum, it's really cool to look how senior member have excellent explanation about bitcoin. I hope I learn more with many members here.

Indeed and if we did not find way to enter this until now we maybe in darkness of Government interfering and that is the sad part of life that happens all our life before Bitcoin comes.
we also need to consider that Not all of us make their way to profit inside crypto because there are many who also fails because of wrong interpretation and greedy attitude.

Love this forum to bits, and my life has definitely been all the better for it, but I certainly would hope my life would be better on my own efforts, with or without this forum and all the other things that have given me knowledge, gainful employment etc.

I think the value in this forum really is that you can find, quite easily, dissenting opinion. That's more valuable than other places in other projects where dissenters are only investors. Here, you also meet actual users giving up or rebelling. Right or wrong, that's how it's meant to be.

But here's to being something. On our own. With and without Bitcoin.

This bitcointalk forum really gave me a lot of useful knowledge from many members. I found the decentralized world more complex than I thought. political conspiracy theories of many large countries and how whales manipulate the market based on trader psychology, etc. It really made me enlighten a lot of knowledge since I entered this market. The financial sector isn't as easy as I thought. Besides, big projects of millions of dollars in profit also started here. Truly a wonderful and rare forum.

When I learned about bitcoin in my life I say its not on forum first. It was just introduced to me by a friend then I search it all until I came here in forum. Many things happened since then, and it favors me as bitcoin grows and become famous digital investment. Although this coin has been ignored in the past, we can say that its become succesful in some way.

I still remembet when only few here talks about bitcoin and cryptocurrency but now this forum has a lot of new users everyday, every week just to know what is bitcoin and different cryptocurrencies. I say this is the birth ground of bitcoin. Thanks Satoshi for making this one for all crypto enthusiast.

Since most of us right now is at home doing nothing but playing and watching and repeated routine throughout the day, some find ways to be at least productive. For me, I want to be on cryptocurrency again. I have been here in the past, I was exposed to new things but things don't always seem to work. Maybe now, things may change and be on my side so I'm starting again. I'm not nothing without btc and btct but i want to hop on the crypto train again.

I can partially agree with you. Yes, the control of states and third parties over money can sometimes be disturbing. But let's not forget that we have come to the point where we are today from the past. We presented most of this control to the managers on a golden platter. We can criticize the structure in monarchic administrations. But since we think that most of the world is governed by democratic ways, we know that if we are not satisfied with these rulers, we can change them in certain periods.

Bitcoin is deeply affecting our lives and will continue to affect it. The forum has fundamentally changed my life. However, this does not make us see our past life as a purely witchcraft activity.

I think that some of those things are an overstatement, but it's surely good to have such a community as well as Bitcoin. Bitcoin made a big impact on my life, and so did Bitcointalk. It's good to stay in touch (especially, during the pandemic), to see different opinions and join discussions on relevant topics. However, being critical towards the government or whatever the colonial regime point is about doesn't necessarily have to involve Bitcoin and this forum. And, of course, many people who are rich don't know about Bitcoin, and I am pretty sure that there are people who know but are poor anyway. Not to mention the provocative name of the thread, suggesting that without Bitcoin one doesn't have any achievements or happiness.

With the invention of Bitcoin and the creation of this forum has become the best source information throughout these years. We won't even know that Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin are two different coins if it's not for bitcoin talk. Satoshi is a genius by creating this site along with the bitcoin. so that all of the information's about bitcoin that we can get here, is all legit. we don't need to gather opinions from the people outside bitcoin talk rather we share every information here to arm ourself with the knowledge to counter those people who have been thought to spread false information about bitcoin and here we are now surviving 10 years of battle.

I've come across loads of people in cryptoland who claim never to have been here. It is quite possible. If you want cutting edge info here is often a long way behind other platforms,or it never arrives at all, so I can see why you might never get around to it.

As for Bitcoin 'saving' us. Well, you have guns, gold, heroin. There's lot of outs if you look for them. Most people don't ever think to question even for a moment or two.

Having to know about bitcoin and this forum is like, I'm ahead with others when it comes to this information about cryptocurrency and financially compared to other people at my age. What I'm proud of this knowledge I have, is that I'm already earning even though I'm still a student while some people of the same age as me were still depending too much on their parents. And also the knowledge I have that I can definitely use in the future. This forum also helped me a lot to discover and learn more.

Bitcoin and this forum already become a part of me. I think I would still be like my old self without knowing anything about it. I can't say that bitcoin and the forum changed my life since I'm still growing, but it's definitely a part of my growth.

This forum was created by the founder of btc so it serves as the highest place to get first hand information and assistance from like minded community members, it is a great place to learn and understand about btc and other alternative projects,  although I think if the forum had not been in existence, you would still be something  ;) in your own way,
Nevertheless, it is a good thing we have a place like bitcointalk to assist us in our journey into the crypto space.

This forum gave a lot of things and opened my mind about the world of Digital Currency which was very profitable. The forum provides many lessons about understanding Bitcoin, crypto and about Blockchain technology.

Before I realized this forum and didn't know what Bitcoin was, I was just an ordinary employee who spent a lot of time in the office.

The Bitcointalk and Bitcoin forums changed my life in mind (open with future technology) and financially (earning more than my main job in the office).

The best forum of all time that I have ever known at this time.

But the forum offers a realistic approach in cryptocurrency unbiasedly. Unlike if you're just reading a blog which sometimes could be biased or just plain advertisement from different kind of projects.
People could make useful and specific suggestions, advices, and information in this community, which is also very different from generic advices and suggestions from different crypto related blogs or websites.
This is base on my experience, I have learn about Bitcoin and other alts because this forum helps me to understand my questions and doubts while I was starting to engage in cryptocurrency.

I agree without this forum maybe I could not make money in a crisis situation like now. It's true about knowledge cryptocurrency we can
get other than in this forum, but to make money this forum is still the best compared to other forums or other platforms. And I feel fortunate
to get to know bitcoin, which is very true like the title of this topic. We are nothing without the presence of bitcoin. Because with bitcoin I can
buy whatever I want.

Not exactly Nothing but for me we missed half of our life if Bitcoin did not cross our lives because this Gives me the second chance to have a better life.

i am almost down when i learn about Bitcoin though at first i denied this because i am afraid of scamming but when i have been encourage better then i start learning and come realized that i have done this much earlier.

If people only know what is this and how can give them chances?i am sure they will not deny trusting and accumulating now starting.

Bitcoin was not created as a tool to solve poverty, a lot of people had succeed and survived even before the existence of bitcoin. Bitcoin created a new gateway of payment  and transaction, it is true that it brought a lot of opportunities but it was not aimed to create someone who owns it to become rich. And aside from the forum, there are a lot of sources where you can learn about crypto, if this was not created I think people who are into crypto will be on the same group somewhere else to share ideas and knowledge about crypto.

I am not going to lie about this, my life did experience a big change after I discovered Bitcoin.
This happened because I got a job through this cryptocurrency community, and it has been a side income for me.

Though I have a main job that I am into, I work in an office, but the earnings I make from my cryptocurrency job is bigger than what I make from my regular. And right now that the pandemic has caused a lockdown in countries around the world, I haven’t been going to the office and I have not been getting payment from there. The only means I have been able to gain income is through my crypto job, so I keep wondering how it would have been if I didn’t join the cryptocurrency community.

I like to do some mind exercises from time to time and remember the past to see if I'm in the right path, and I agree with you
Before I know about BTC I just had a regular job and no idea what to do in future, and lost in my mind always trying to find a good way to gain some money online, working from home
Right now I'm in the middle of my path, I can gain money online with BTC, I have a plan to my future and I'm able to handle with money without need to trust in banks
I can say another side effect: now I'm able to see the world more clear, and how system is corrupted and why we need BTC to open our eyes and be owner of our own money
And I just love this forum, it's my first source of reliable information, and probably will be for long years, BTC and Bitcointalks walk together.

I don't know your 10 investment currency because you did not share yet. therefore i want recommend, you can check cmc most top altcoins for your invest with us.

Indeed, this forum teaches us all about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, there are so many information we can have while reading some posts in this forum, about cryptocurrency, trading, investing, hodling, etc. you may read some information on this forum. That is why I love this forum because I have learned so many information since I joined this forum.

Bitcoin really helps so many people and became a way to think that there are so many possible things we can have to earn and make money.

I remember things on me before without bitcoin in my life, I cannot afford some things I want to have because I don't have money to buy it but now when I joined this forum and make some money I can now buy things I need and wants.

At least for me, I can say no to all of those statements.  I'm not even sure where the "colonial regime" reference came from.

Since I wasn't one of the super-early adopters and got interested in bitcoin relatively late, it hasn't made me wealthy by any means.  Had bitcoin never been invented, I'd probably be doing about the same as I am now--and I'm not complaining about my life and how it's turning out.

I've read tons of "bitcoin changed my life" threads since I've been a member here, and it always puzzles me.  I can't tell whether the folks writing them are being honest or whether such sentiments are a way to pad out a thread for a sig campaign.  You never know on bitcointalk.  And usually I find such posts and threads woefully short on details, i.e., exactly what has bitcoin (or the forum) done to improve one's life so dramatically.  Those people never seem to say.

I would not disagree that bitcoin as well as this forum has changed my life very much.
Not only it has created an alternate source of income for me but it has improved my knowledge on bitcoin, blockchain and also on various other aspects that has made my life better. I guess this would be the thing for most of us here. I will always be grateful to this forum and to be honest no other online platform is so valuable to me as bitcointalk.

But no, its not true. Bitcoin still would e a "thing" if this forum didn't exist. There are hundreds of people out there who uses crypto currencies regularly, yet they know nothing about this forum.

Bitcointalk is the best forum for learning about bitcoin and the community that supports it. Also, I have learned about new technology that today are providing their users with real solutions by using bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Forum rules are the same, so I guess there is nothing new. Forum members just need to follow the rules and not to be assholes. That is it.

This forum is a platform of sharing, learning and gathering knowledge about cryptocurrency specially bitcoin. There has a lot of information and everybody can know about concept, features, characteristics and recent trends of bitcoin and other cryptos by participating here. You can always be updated with the recent crypto information by attaching in different post and comment. It also teaches how to be a good investor in cypto market and how to make income. It is really a good field to learn, to teach, to earn and to invest in bitcoin.

It gives you many opportunities to earn but you should remind that it didn't give the solution of colonial regime and the theory of removing poverty.

A bit hyperbole, but I understand what you mean.
Bitcoin offers many advantages, full of controversy because it contradicts a system that has existed since decades ago. Change is not easy to accept, like a revolutionary process that requires a very long time.

For me, this forum has become an effective place to study and discuss, to be one of the most effective side jobs as a bounty hunter, and I know many new friends from here. In this difficult situation, the crypto world can still provide many benefits, we can still trade and hunt bounties, many people have lost their jobs and difficulties in this situation. So be thankful because we can get something valuable from this ecosystem.

This is not the purpose why bitcoin was created. It was created to stop poverty because you don't get bitcoin for free, you either work to earn it or trade with your funds to earn more or lose more.

Agreed that this forum the top knowledge source for cryptocurrency. The growth could have slowed down a bit if this forum wasn't created.

yes.  btc is created for people to have use something for paying or for recieving money but people didnt expect that btc can also be useful on other things  aside from this  . also i believe that there are already forums that talks about btc , cryptos and blockchain just before bitcointalk created .  however this forum only became popular because of campaigns and stuffs like that.  we are still people and we can still live even without btc and bitcointalk but i confess that i have been more knowledgeable with the help of this forum

Agreed to the above statement aside from this,

We have our own mind and our own voice. We can think, decide, and investigate in every decision of our government. Not because bitcoin is there means that we already have created our own path, bitcoin is not the one that changes that, but ourselves.

We all became curious and that is why we got to this forum, our destiny is in our hands and that is why we choose to learn about bitcoin and the blockchain technology. This forum created by Satoshi helps many people in different ways like understanding the economy more and learn ways how to improve the poor payment system that are been for years.

There are a lot of information in this forum and that is why I allocate most of my time to read different posts and replies because I want a knowledge and wisdom that I can use in the future.

I think the last point you made is directed at me lol. Before I started Bitcoin things were not really good for me like it is now, but right now I'm in a better position than I was then. Although back then I was living with my father who later fell ill and died, things were really difficult for me then and I couldn't afford anything. And then I discovered Bitcoin and when I did, I started working hard towards it. It took me some time before things got better.

I was able to raise myself to my current level through what I have been able to get from Bitcoin. And now I'm trying to do other businesses as well and help myself. I honestly owe big thing of my life for bitcoins and I am sure that I will be always grateful to bitcoin in all possible ways.

A whole lot of information on bitcoin is not certain from this site. This site is where most of those information are being shared for others to read. If you go on twitter they make recent updates on bitcoin which come from the bitcoin community on twitter. They are other websites like cointelegraph.com that share some co-operate information which may interest you. Just read vast not on this site alone.

Feeling really glad to hear that after introducing with bitcoin it helps you a lot to make your life better. Honestly a story like this is really inspiring for new crypto users who are dreaming to change their life with bitcoin. I always tell my GF that i have another girlfriend but most interesting thing is that my future wife don't get angry after hearing this anytime. Its because she know that its "bitcoin". :) Its been a long time i am engaged with bitcoin trading and love to use it on a regular basis. During this journey after introducing with this forum i got the opportunity to enrich my knowledge vault with bitcoin and other crypto currencies. Before joining this forum my knowledge about bitcoin was relatively lower than now but learned a lot after joining. I will definitely give all credits to bitcointalk and my community friends here who helped me a lot to enrich my Knowledge vault. Putting everything aside i always have positive wishes for bitcoin and its worldwide users.  

Of course, We need a forum to discuss about bitcoin, altcoin, and other development stuff than it needs us. Because of the forum and other platforms, the cryptocurrency is spreading across different countries new developers and crypto enthusiasts are born and it is needed for new generations. But now I guess some universities are offering courses about blockchain already which is really good. Forum is not the only option now to learn about cryptocurrency but I will never leave this forum It is part of my daily life now.

From some of the stories I read above, I think this is truly a very valuable experience for everyone who is here. Being able to know bitcoin and this forum is an excellent opportunity to increase knowledge, experience, and opportunities to earn money from the crypto world. Whether you are a writer, designer, or whatever you can use your potential to earn money here, you can be a bounty manager, bounty hunter, trader, miner, etc.

Bitcoin had since been a very volatile asset after it came into the adoption phase and this forum had been a place for illiterates to graduates where it doesn't matter where you come from, what's your caste, creed, religion, etc., what is your occupation, what is your education, but if you've got enough knowledge about BTC and even if you're a 10th class fail or whatsoever, you can still earn a living on this forum through many ways (mostly known of these are signature campaigns). These campaigns can be a side income for those living in first world countries and can be a "living" to those living in a third world country. Hats off to Satoshi Nakamoto again for bringing us altogether and give us and all the advertisers an opportunity to get the cycle of new money - BTC going.

How long do you think that these signatures will provide the income, these are temporary thing and it cannot be considered as an income and bitcoin and this forum is not created with those intention in mind but like everything else in the world this forum was also commercialized and bitcoin has become a speculative market. This forum will give you idea about starting new ventures and how to provide business and that is the biggest advantage i see and if the campaigns are helping people it is a bonus.

It is nothing. Now this bitcoin and bitcoin forum has changed my life for the better. I can buy daily necessities because getting income
from bitcoin. Therefore I am very grateful to know about bitcoin and bitcoin forums.

Technically "we" wouldn't have been anything since this chat would never have existed. But I'm not sure my life would have been nothing.  It probably wouldn't have been as good as it is.  I thank god every day that I have this forum after going through the disaster that is Reddit and Twitter for crypto learning...holy shit iit's bad.  So many unbelievably gullible fools getting suckered all day long taking these forums as a place to really learn.  I am glad I found this place first!

This forum has made me to have deep knowledge about blockchain. There is a lot of insightful discussions that is helpful for both newbies and experts.

I have been following this forum for such a long time now that I really cannot grasp how helpful this forum was to me. Many people shared many of what they about Bitcoin, Cryptocurrencies, Alternative Coins and tokens, and Blockchain, that most of us here who has spent like years using this forum, became well versed with the terminologies and the processes. With that I am extremely grateful and I do hope that this will be more helpful to more and more people in the long run.
