We noted late last month that a "social bomb" was set to detonate over major Western cities. It was thought that the epicenter of unrest could begin deep within inner cities, such as those in Baltimore and Detroit, but that might not be the case.

It appears tensions are soaring among anti-quarantine protesters and state governments. The lockdown backlash started last Thursday in Lansing, Michigan.

Anti-quarantine rallies sprouted up across the country over the weekend, organized by right-wing groups that held rallies in Texas, Indiana, New Hampshire, Nevada, Maryland, Utah, Wisconsin, Washington, and Colorado.

Attempting to show force, some protesters wielded rifles, handguns, and shotguns, along with American flags, Betsy Ross flags, Trump signs and "Don't Tread On Me" flags right up to the doorsteps of some state capital buildings.

The sight is absolutely stunning, but before we continue, we must understand the right-wing groups that organized the rallies are fed up with quarantine orders enforced by state governments to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. While it is open for discussion if the strict lockdowns were worth it, several things are evident, and why many of these protesters are angry, is that the economy has crashed into depression, 22 million jobs lost, businesses bankrupted, and hunger crisis unfolding. Combined this all together, and a perfect storm of unrest could be nearing.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers extended his stay-at-home orders through May 26 and said, "things won't get back to normal until there's a vaccine and treatment for this disease". However, Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling says he will not enforce the orders, because state law "does not have the power to supersede or suspend the Constitutional rights of American citizens." He urged the state's health department to balance safety with allowing businesses to operate. He said, "I took an oath to uphold the constitutional rights of our citizens and I cannot in good faith participate in the destruction of Racine County businesses or interfere in the freedoms granted to all of us by our Constitution." -GEG

thats not true, they want a working country in the first place and don't want to be like the looser countries, in the middle east and africa

It's more like, too patriotic to accept a bunch of hogwash without courtroom real proof. In this case, because of its far-reaching effects, it should be a whole lot of courtroom proof via a whole lot of courtrooms.

Why do we need courtroom verifications for the implementation of lockdown whennthe science and the evidence is all over the place, why not follow the doctors that say that the pandemic is passed through contact to the infected?

Despite the crippling damage the pandemic can do, these idiots are still going out of their houses to protest for work. Can they not understand the fact when the virus makes a contact with the new host it will proliferate and the continous influx of people going outside is making the infection chain longer, that works for all the viruses, they will naturally die when there is no new host to contract, that is simple science and people are dragging politics when science proves everything that happens is right. The problem with these people is that they are too ignorant to the fact that this pandemic is infecting people at an alarming rate and the reason for that is people have a tunnel vison, they do not see the bigger picture and that is very alarming because people are blind to their cause and one fool charming enough could infect or narrow minded people.

Actually, the virus likes "Inside" far more than "Outside."

Just because a man carries a gun doesn't mean he's an idiot. I think guns in this situation are a means of preventing people from getting tired of lying about the coronavirus situation and they call on police officers to think with their heads and not just follow orders.

As history has shown, in most revolutions, the police and the army end up on the civilian side because they are essentially the same citizens.

If your buddy whispered in your ear that Covid-19 is killing the world, would you believe it? Or would it take a bunch of media, government, and doctor hype to convince you? Because that's all there is to Covid-19 regarding the pandemic... media, government, and doctor hype.

Get it into a courtroom in standard expert attorney-like debate, and with expert CV science witnesses and experimenters, showing and proving what Covid-19 is doing and what it is not doing. So far all we have is hearsay. You can tell by all the hearsay coming out of the woodwork against the official CV danger hearsay.

How in the world dense are you, anyway? You believe one batch of hearsay over another batch of hearsay, and you don't even what proof of what is real.

Turn on the TV, listen to what the experts are saying, check their credentials.  Listen to the scientists who are working on solutions to this problem.  Listen to them not your right-wing nuts in your compound basement chapel.
