Title: Many cryptocurrencies — how important is that for you in casinos?
Post by: Bitcasino.io Support on April 23, 2020, 06:03:03 AM
Hi guys!

Still playing with bitcoins? Or have you switched to TRON or Ripple?
Anyway, every crypto has its own benefits but how important is it for you to have a variety of different cryptos to play in casinos?

Yes, still playing with satoshis (aka bitcoin), haven't tried tron nor ripple. Maybe because of convenience on my end. Not many casinos here are offering Tron or ripple, though I have encountered several of them but am too lazy to engage with Tron. And if there is doge in the casino, I use it also as the tx fees are very low if I wanted to transfer from exchange to the gambling site as compared to btc which is pretty expensive.

@Bitcasino.io Support majority of the users here will prefer to play in bitcoins only, but then again there’re few gamblers who often like to play using other crypto’s too. @Twinkledoe you’re right not many casinos use ripple or tron and I believe that’s because there’s not much demand for them, also op should have added a poll to see which coins people want in a casino as that would have helped their team get a better idea of which coins to offer to their members. Lastly in my personal opinion a site should offer Bitcoins, Ethereum, Doge, Litecoins and Eos (as this one is gaining lots of popularity now).

I guess the reason that the variety is important because it will attract more customers and the variety sells itself for the casino which means that more choices to choose from.

you already said that every crypto has its own benefit so yeah .  people or gamblers love benefits too much  .

that benefit can be speed ( faster deposits and withdraw  ) like for example when you use xrp because xrp is instant compare to other cryptos   . also we sometimes hold different crypto , so its always handy if a casino supports a different variety of coins    .  for me i started to use other coins ever since the gambling site that i play allows them , that makes me discover their benefit  .

Need for multi crypto currencies in a casino will becomes void when a casino site have instant deposit and withdrawal feature because more people switch to altcoins over bitcoin only due to less time needed for the confirmation and also fee can be another factor.

I mainly play with Bitcoin  but for me is important to know that the casino I play accepts other cryptocurrencies too.Sometimes you may be low on bitcoin but you can have a little Ethereum or Litecoin somewhere  else and you can play with them. You cannot really convert low amount of Ethereum or Litecoin to Bitcoin through exchanges as it is not worthy at all.So yes it is important for me as a player to know the casino where I play offers other cryptos beside Bitcoin.

Still with bitcoin. Why you haven't mentioned Ethereum because it's the most popular altcoin next to bitcoin.
There are other coins that I would like to gamble but, they're not mainly accepted with the casinos that's why it's still good to be using bitcoin.

Most of us are using different coins in our wallet, but most useful crypto for me is Bitcoin, there are a lot of casinos who offer bitcoin as a mode of betting and they manipulate it properly. In contrast to those altcoins, some casinos are not offering some altcoins in their platform so if you are using altcoins, you should find a gambling casino where they accept altcoin. I also hold an altcoin DEX and ETH and I found it very hassle to find a gambling casino where I can comfortably used it in the casino. Unfortunately, it is very hard to look for it. That's why I stick on using bitcoin in my gambling career because many people uses it and it is not that hard to find a gambling platform utilized by bitcoins.

I think bitcoin so far holds the greatest usage when it comes to online gambling casinos. But I can see that platform of tron has started to make moves on their dApps for gambling. Ive seen a lot of campaign and new projects that are using trx for their gambling sites. For me, the best is still bitcoin as it so easy to buy it using even our fiat money. There are lots of tellers and even bitcoin atm to exchange our currency for btc and deposit it on different gambling sites.

But having a multiple crypto supported online casino is good provided that you can have support for direct fiat conversion for these crypto coins.

Been playing around with TRON dapps which these dapps allow users to earn more TRX while playing their casinos, these are passive income opportunities. It's not that the fans of TRX are moving away from BTC but gives them the option on which coin to waste in the casinos rather than BTC. That fills the role of TRX just like EOS.

BTC only gambler here. I do use other cryptos every now and then but only when I have them at me. I have some extras whenever some leftovers are thereafter trading and so, I keep them and wait till I can play with them for at least 2-3 games of my choice. Having many Cryptochoices isn't really an important feature a casino should have, though it would be nice to have it. It's okay, but not needed much since most crypto gamblers probably have hold of BTC instead of other cryptos. There are a few who use other cryptos, hence the it's "okay to be implemented" part, but imo, majority use BTC

Bitcoin for me is the most popular and it is widely accepted in most gambling sites. Though using other cryptocurrencies doesn't give too much hassle nor disadvantages but it will still take a few times before you can play since you need to exchange first. With bitcoins, since it is widely accepted then you can play right away without needing to exchange first. More convenient if we use Bitcoin to gamble.

Sites who accept different cryptocurrencies or let say altcoins with good offers or promotion that can only accept other cryptos aside from bitcoin then you will be obliged to do exchange first. Therefore, it is somehow important to have multiple cryptocurrencies for us to have faster access to playing gambling on multiple sites.

Wonder why you suggested Ripple or Tron.
Well, variety is certainly better than having one or few cryptocoins that may be lacking in my desired features. Will definitely go for the decentralized ones in favour of the centralized though. I will also consider a coin volatility level, transaction speed, security etc

I have already switched to XRP since I can directly buy xrp using fiat without converting it first to btc. We have a wallet that allow us to do that and that is why I prefer using xrp to lessen transaction fees I paid whenever I transfer funds from and to the gambling site.

I still play with Bitcoins just because of the value of it when playing. Imagine gambling around 1 BTC and have a play with 95% chance and just bet it all and you would get more significantly in a shorter time. I don't usually use altcoins but I do when I'm in the experimental phase of gambling, like testing different scripts in a dice bot or something.

Fast transfer over a gambling platform and lower fees? I guess I prefer using TRX and XRP but haven't tried that one yet since I haven't played much on a gambling platform that accepts those currencies most site I go with are only accepting Bitcoin nor Ethereum. If ever I have variety of cruptocurrencies, I think the one that matters are really for fast transfer and lower fees on deposits and withdrawals, playing with it doesn't matter that much.

Very important for me. I don't use a single cryptocurrency only in gambling. I normally shift between altcoins so it helps a lot to have options. Sometimes it is really expensive to make BTC deposits from your main wallet to your gambling wallet. It is much cheaper to transfer using LTC or Ripple or ETH.

Im using bitcoin most of the time and I think Im not only one because most of us when we are playing gambling we are using this coin.
But many people are using the ripple because it is easy to use na you know why? The transactiom fee is very low and the confirmartion is very fast compared to the other coin that is not good to use.

I prefer playing in Bitcoin most of the time. But if I am moving funds directly from an exchange I'll use Doge to reduce the withdrawal fees. I wouldn't switch to TRX or XRP, as TRX is a self-admitted shitcoin and XRP is centralised shit.

Anyway, every crypto has its own benefits but how important is it for you to have a variety of different cryptos to play in casinos?
Personally, I don't care much about the availability of different altcoins in a gambling site. But, I think having different altcoins is good for the following reasons
- attract altcoin believers
- make very small bets
- reduce txn fees etc

I think what I saw from the different gambling sites is most of them right now are listing accepting the ripple because many gambler are want to use this coin because the fees is lower than the bitcoin because sometimes the transaction fees of the bitcoin is very high but even that is it fees players are using it but I recommend now ripple.

I am playing with either ETH or XRP, but withdrawing for bitcoins as that is mainly what I'm after why I'm gambling. If the option isn't available, I withdraw XRP and ultimately trade it for BTC anyway, as XRP is no doubt one of the fastest cryptocurrencies to confirm out there together with ETH. What I'm trying to eliminate as much as possible is losses during transfer, and fast confirms as well. XRP and ETH offers that, while in terms of playing with which crypto, there's not much of a difference honestly.

Convenience. Less Hassle. Fees.

As you have mentioned, every crypto used has its own benefits, much especially in terms of payments and transfers. About playing in casinos, no conversion will be needed just to comply with the supported cryptos.

And for blockchain-based gambling platforms, just a simple link to their wallet, they can now deposit and play easily within a seconds.

Nearly useless to me and I don't get the appeal. I'm only going to play with the top two or three crypto's. When I see sites with 40 different cryptocurrencies that they accept, it seems unnecessary and pandering to the alt-coin community. Some casino's let you convert on site with such ridiculous rates I don't get why they bother.

Most of the times, I am using bitcoin. It is because it is accepted by all the crypto gambling sites. Sometimes, I used ETH too, when I played in stake. Other than these two, I never tried with any other aalthough had tried Dapp once.
I do not feel the necessity of any other crypto to gamble unless there is a good promotion on certain crypto  :D

Yes, I playing gambling with bitcoin, but not too often because I still prefer to use altcoin such as litecoin, ethereum, dogecoin. I haven't tried using Tron or Ripple because I don't search where gambling website which accepts both coins.

With the casino having different cryptos to play in casinos will give the gamblers the option on what coin they want to use to gamble. They don't have to bother with using bitcoin in that casino because they have the other coins that they can deposit anytime to play gambling. Besides that, if they use the other altcoin, I think they can reduce the fee of the transaction.

I guess we can go back to the height of bitcoin during 2017, we all know that confirmation times is so f** slow, I myself experience days withdrawing. So if you are a gambler and the casino that you are playing have options like ethereum, doge any other crypto's besides btc then I guess it will come in handy when that kind of scenario happened again in the future. At least you don't have to wait for longer confirmations times that might affect your playing habits though.

There are Cryptos that are dedicated to gambling and they have a lot of gambling sites that cater only to specific Cryptos, Tron and Eos are some of the Cryptos with a dedicated gaming and gambling sites and this is their edge to other Crypto because this is multi-billion dollar industry when playing I like to deposit using a currency with the lowest fee and fastest transaction like Doge, Eth or even Litecoin if they have these coins in the option to deposit.

I could switch to other cryptocurrencies if I wanted to but right now I don't see any good reason for me to switch since most of the good casinos I visit focus on Bitcoin. Having an alternative way to play or deposit with altcoins is important because bitcoin fees and waiting times can go up anytime and become an issue to gamblers with small deposits. I would play with other altcoins occasionally if there's an exclusive offer or if a certain game only accepts altcoins.

While having the pandemic outbreak because of the virus rapidly spreading the coronavirus 19 and this there is no cure about things and any casino temporary close to avoid the faster spreading of the virus because casino is one of the place that has a mass gathering and this is a good decision too and this kind of home quarantine it is a good time to the platforms or website that is online gambling so still they can play a lot of games that is the same like the casino and also they don't need to get out just only on their homes and play without any pressure today one of the adopted process of payment is the butcoin because it is more faster and does not take any more time just to accept the process of depositing funds that's why many people are using this payment also one of the factor why does the Bitcoin because it has the most profitable market price among the cryptocurrency also there are a lot of gambling platforms that is supporting the use of the altcoins like the ripple and me I prefer for the bitcoin and ripple because those are the coins I always hodl also while the quarantine instead of getting bored why not to play online gambling.

I am playing online gamble using bitcoin and it is really important that you have more money to spend in gambling because having less financial management in gambling is not really a good thing because it is not a good feeling if you lose and you cannot play more because you don't have money anymore to spend to.

But always make sure that you should limit also the money you are going to spend in gambling always remember that when you gamble you also take the risk, you are not sure that you can win 100%.

Yes, still playing with satoshis (aka bitcoin), haven't tried tron nor ripple. Maybe because of convenience on my end. LTC, XRP, and DOGE  are my favorite funding choices for the obvious reasons. The gambling websites accept the mentioned payment methods and it is cheaper to make a withdrawal request. Instead of depositing BTC which took a long time for confirmation with higher fees, XRP does a better job.

Doge is super easy to split for several gambling strategies but not all gambling casinos offer this payment method, unfortunately. XRP is the best in terms of speed and easiness, smart gamblers will trade the BTC for XRP before and after the transfer to a gambling website.

This depends from person to person, having a variety of coins to use for gambling is not that of a big deal because it still the same, you are still spending to it to gamble, in my opinion variety in cryptocurrency to choose from is nothing but a nuisance sepecially if that site is supporting another cryptocurrency rather than bitcoin, personally I choose to gamble with bitcoin because this has a more familiar setting for me and whenever I need to deposit or withdraw funds in my account then it will be easier for me because it has pioneered many apps that can support the procurement of funds.

In my honest opinion, being able to choose a crypto to use when playin casino is useful or let's just say important because you can choose what crypto you like to deposit and withdraw where some people are looking to withdraw their profit with lowest fee possible when withdrawing where some didn't bother. It depends on each person why or what their reason would be.

Not everyone likes to use bitcoin for betting. There are people that holds different crypto currencies and might want to play with some of those. So having variety of altcoins as an option in the casino is actually going to be a advantageous point for both the casino and the user (not talking about shit coins). Though they can add features like coinswitch (like crypto-games.net has) to deposit altcoins that they hold and automatically convert it to the one supported by the casino.

Well, we all know that Bitcoin is the most popular in most online gambling casino but there is also one cryptocurrency that commonly use in gambling especially in casino dApps. It is the TRON, Justin Sun was the CEO of this, this is the blockchain operating system for the decentralized app. Perhaps TRON and Ethereum are the best alternate to Bitcoin, --but still, Bitcoin is the best crypto to gamble for me. Indeed, no matter what it is you are going to use, always remember to gamble of what you can afford.

Less fees also for TRX which is why I prefer withdrawing this coin but this will also be moved to another casino or to an exchange but for cashing out its best to just use the XRP for it can be liquidated than TRX. Casinos today are accepting many tokens even the IOST, it isn't a common token to be accepted but there are casinos doing it.

I am still using Bitcoin for now, but I already tried to use XRP or ETHEREUM before especially if my funds are from an exchange, so the best way to save, I am converting my Bitcoin to XRP in the exchange and withdraw it as XRP from the exchange going to the gambling website, which I can save more transaction fees from the exchange and able to withdraw from the gambling website with fewer fees also (depends on some gambling websites).

It's important to have a lot of varieties, there's a time that you do not have a coin that the gambling site accepts if they have a lot of coins as options to deposit then, then a gambler can continue playing the game without interruption, and besides gambling sites that accept various coins had the edge against gambling sites that is dedicated to one coin only.

Of course I still play with bitcoin, because the best cryptocurrency is bitcoin. After all, almost everything online gambling only provides
only a few cryptocurrency options. Tron and ripple are not popular for gambling, apart from bitcoin I sometimes use gambling ETH or LTC.
It's true that I feel the different benefits for different coins. But still I am more comfortable playing gambling with bitcoin.

I personally also prefer a variety of cryptos. Even the bitcoin has been on the market the longest and we all trust it the most, there are plenty of others that could be tested out.
E.g. XRP for its speed and security. Luckily there are plenty of cryptos to choose on Bitcasino and we’ll be adding some new soon.
Btw, what other coins would you like to have in Bitcasino?

Cheers,
Karl

I personally prefer ethereum or ripple for playing on casino sites as they have very low transaction fees as compared to bitcoins and also the transaction speed is pretty fast, it feels like no waiting time at all is required for depositing the money into the casino wallet. Previously I used bitcoins back in the past but as the Prices grew higher and the transaction fees also started rising then I switched to other means of payment for my gambling.

On-site gaming currency should be independent of deposit/withdrawal currency. For example, casino should maintain the balance of players in chips. The value of chips shall be pegged to one of the cryptocurrency (let say 1 BTC = 100M chips) and floating rate of such cryptocurrency shall be used to maintain the exchange rate for other currencies.

This mechanism have many benefits:

  • Many players have reported problem in using bitcoin due to its high price. They are confused in using decimal values and sometimes bet 10 times more than the expected. Even using mBTC or uBTC don't help because they don't understand the conversation rate (Mathematics you know!)
  • Using different cryptocurrencies offer ease to players but at the same time segregates the game matches in multiplayer gaming. Using common gaming currency solves this problem.
  • It eases the accounting of casino as owner can easily maintain the accounts and statements when all profit/loss are measured in common denomination i.e. chips.

Why you did not include ethereum? Or at least BCH or BSV? I guess if people do not prefer risking with BTC in gambling then probably they may go with LTC/Doge/ETH. Both ripple and tron are recent additions hence not sure about its familiarity among gamblers.

Personally I still gamble with only bitcoins. I tried doge for low risk levels but at the end of the day, I make peanuts for all my physical efforts and mental tensions. But with bitcoins, sometimes I do get chances to make $5 to $10 which is completely missing in the case of gambling with dogecoins. Other than slow transaction confirmations with bitcoins, I am not finding any bi advantages on gambling  with altcoins. When you include 20% extra fee with your bitcoin tx, you never need to worry on slow confirmations for your transactions.

Ive been using BTC most of the time since we know that this one is more valuable than anything else and when you won then you would really have that excitement.
Why i can say? I can compare the feels between when im using DOGE and BTC when it comes to my gambling activity. It isnt really that important much but its
still a good option if a certain casino would really have that wide variety of coins that you can play on because not all does prefer on using up their BTC.

I dont think so because if we do try to observe on how many cryptocurrency gambling sites at the moment and trying to check on the best history you will surely able to see that most people do bet using bitcoin
there might be other coins as well but not really that much if we do compare it to bitcoin.I agree on what quidat say above when it comes to excitement where its different when you play using bitcoin and using
other altcoins. It isnt really that much important because people can choose on what they would use according to their own funds or coins owned.

Variation in currency helps to attract gambles since some gamblers have their own preferred currency when gambling. I don't use BTC or ETH because of the transaction fee, and I am accumulating them. I guess most players have the same reason. Altcoins save transaction fee and it is convenient.

It varies in the situation, though. You know, it's interesting to try something new, so gambling with other cryptocurrency is quite qood. I sometimes become greedy and badly want to gamble and get back what I lost, but sometimes blockchain takes too long for the confirmation so imma convert it with the fast one.

More crypto can be used in online games thus making these sites more interesting to users. I love the variety but I maintain my preference with bitcoin. Also, TRX is one that has caught my attention because it is gaining popularity in the development of its ecosystem.

For me, I used bitcoin for so long in my gambling career because the thrill is there and i'm really comfortable using it. Bitcoin is not that hard to use in casinos because most of the gambling platforms does support and allow bitcoin to circulate in other customers. Using altcoins in gambling is not that enjoyable because the thrill is not there, the effect of winning is not that pleasant for me.

It is much better to win in gambling with the popular coin like bitcoin because its price is really high compared to other coins, although the losses are also big but it depends on you on how you will manage your bitcoin to prevent losses in gambling. Sometimes it depends on us if we are disciplined enough to stop when we are losing a certain amount of money.

Honestly, I don't prefer using ETH, DEX or other coins in gambling, but use them in trading. They are not that effective in gambling, I really support bitcoin because we need to fulfill our desire, the mass adoption and its globalization that's why continuously use of bitcoin is really good for it. Experiencing bitcoin in all aspect is really good most especially if it is for the benefit of you who will earn a big profit.

We have different perspective and favoritism in life and it is in you which one you will choose to use in gambling platforms.

It is very important for me since other crypto currencies have a cheaper transaction fee so I would get more of my profit since I am only playing with a small amount.
For people who are like me who play with small amount transaction fee is way too hassle for us so if we could use other crypto just to cut down some expenses then we would surely take it.

I guess all other coins still have to earn their mark to beat the bitcoin or at least become as popular as bitcoin is and probably stay.

of course it is very important that we know that deposit using a number of coins with low value such as doge and trx or even xlm has a low fee, whereas with btc it consumes a high enough fee, especially if you transfer your btc from exchange will be even more expensive.
so sites that use more than 1 coin for transactions will be more appreciated in my opinion.

I have tried playing using Bitcoin on an online gambling sitr before and I admit that I have loss a great amount because we all do know how valuable a single digit of Bitcoin was even if it just .01 BTC it is already a big amount to have due to the price changes happening brought by fluctuations. It become important for me to have variety of cryptocurrencies with me if ever I decide to play on an online gambling site so that I have lots of coins to choose from to avoid falling down into using my Bitcoin because I treat it as my last resort if ever I ran out of crypto to use while playing. So far, I have not been into such situation in which I have consumed my cryptos and have left with no choice to use Bitcoin. That is why I always ensure I have plenty of cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin whenever I play for I know that Bitcoin is really a valuable one that must be reserved so I better use other cryptocurrencies on playing into online casinos. But I assure that those that I use were not those that are pretty much expensive because I just play to entertain not to spend out lots of money with it.

Get that point, some traders also loves to gamble and it's favoring them if there's additional coins that are available to play their games, they can easily choose the assets that have small fees and they can easily send it back to exchange once they are done playing.
Crypto evolutions really attracts gamblers especially those who already have knowledge about crypto industries.

In my experience when I'm still gambling, the transaction fees of every coin is one reason why people suggests to gamble in an online site that has many cryptocurrencies that is being supported.

When I'm still gambling, I used to gamble using Bitcoins and the transaction fee of depositing it is very high and if I want to withdraw my winnings the fee is also high too. After that, I decided to choose Bitcoin Cash to gamble and the fees are relatively low compare to Bitcoin. The fees when I'm using Bitcoin is higher than a dollar but when I used BCH, the fees is around cents only. This is one reason why gamblers wants to gamble in a site where there are many coins being supported :).

The universal for most gambling sites is Bitcoin as business owners mostly recognize as payment than altcoin and it is one of the most popular cryptocurrency out there.
It would also be nice if gambling sites/casino, supports multi currency so it wont be a hassle to convert BTC to ETH and vice versa. Some popular gambling sites i know still use one BTC as deposit.

I like to gamble with alts, and I probably tried to gamble with every alt that can be used in some casino. I would like to point out a difference that Tron network made, they made it easy to gamble and for gambling to get their tokens and receive dividends on that tokens, if you freeze them! I get Tron from two tron casinos for months, from Betfury I had more than 1000 trons every day, after months, and not gambling there I still get around 50 trons daily, along with btt and some usdt. I started to play poker with bitcoins, slots for bitcoins. I can't express difference between tron and bitcoin slots, for me it's huge, I like bitcoin slots way more, but it's my taste!
Tron is nice, low fees, instant transactions, and some other benefits from tron casinos. Now in most of them you can gamble with bitcoin and other alts, like you can gamble in most bitcoin casinos with other alts.

It is important for me because it gives me a lot of option to gamble, when a casino does not only accept bitcoin, that would be good for us since altcoins are more faster and cheaper when it comes to transaction (sending/receiving), and it does not only help the gamblers but it will also help the casinos to gain more gamblers since they provide a lot of payment option, for me, I mix my transaction, sometimes its BTC, sometimes its ETH.

Yes, if the service I am using only accepts deposit with Bitcoin, I continue to gamble by making a deposit with Bitcoin. If the service I will use offers TRX or similar, a low cost and fast deposit chance, I usually pay attention to using these preferences. To say something about the question about the casinos, I would like to say that unfortunately, it is not possible to deposit money to the casino businesses we physically visit with this method. Perhaps this method may be preferred in the upcoming period, but if preferred, customers will need to authenticate and the flow of money in each client's account will continue to be monitored. For this reason, I think it will not be possible to gamble in physical casino businesses by using the full advantages of cryptocurrencies.

In every online casino's I always look for ripple cause it's the best! ripple instant transaction is no.1. I don't want to lose bet for example: I just got rekt so I need a instant deposit to play again, ripple is there just 1 click and your balance will be refilled. Bitcoin transaction speed is a shit, so it's really better to use ripple instead of bitcoin (for me). When you are gambling and want instant transaction I highly suggest that start using ripple right now  ;D

Nevertheless, rest assure other altcoins will be accepted as well in all gambling platforms the same as BTC to lessen the gambler's time and effort in exchanging their altcoin just to and play on their platform.

Doge and LTC were more use in casino back in 2017 but now that Dapps of TRON and EOS had populated the cryptocurreny, its almost going to conquer the market. If you are going to try how much they have built, you can see the list of transfers in whale alert that mostly are TRX and EOS. These are the two that will dominate the gaming industry and I guess BT will just remain as investment one day.

I don't know what you are talking when you said it gives you a lot of option to gamble coz basically in any platform there should be just one universal used cryptocurrency in gambling like what most of platforms are using right now is BTC or mBTC because it would be a lot more complicated when different users are using different currencies to play simply due to the conversion rates from the market volatility. So it is either you'll play with bitcoin or USD. I guess what the OP is trying to say is the deposit method for alternative rather than just using bitcoin.

Variety it's always good and I think that players need to have choice according to their preferences and coins they like to use. I know that is more complicated for casinos but it's good for promotion of cryptocurrencies in general.
However, it's not so important for me personaly because I use only Bitcoin that I'm most confident with.

Yes, while it does not make any difference with what currency you bet with but I myself feel fresh when I am betting with TRX now a days earlier that used to be dogecoins but as their value dropped too much I found a new coin.

It's similar to the question like why do players bet on plinko if dice already exists with same/lower edge because gamblers need something new that makes us feel like there are new opportunities. So yeah I always appreciate gambling sites that accept multiple coins and at least the big ones.

A few sites like stake have partnership with exchanges where you can also exchange coins by depositing through a exchanger and that works well too.

The altcoins who have been thinking of beating bitcoin in terms of many ways, they should have stopped thinking of it. The crypto gambling community has grown well because of bitcoin and that's where it all started. The credit is well deserved by bitcoin because it's the origin of the crypto gambling and the projects that are coming out having a tag line of replacing bitcoin should be ashamed of themselves. We can gamble with any preferred altcoin that we want but nothing beats bitcoin.

this is my personal opinion.. Withdrawal fees are the main factor, I have tried comparing the number of withdrawal fees between Bitcoin, Doge, and Ethereum on a gambling site, the result is the highest withdrawal fee is Bitcoin (among the cryptocurrencies I mentioned).  I personally prefer to trade (deposit or withdraw) on a gambling site with Bitcoin (because I'm used to it and the majority of gambling sites provide Bitcoin and don't have a problem with withdrawal fees), but for some people, withdrawal fees may be a major factor for them to decide on where they play..

Yes, the main reason why gamblers prefer alternative coins is because of the high fees issues small gamblers face with bitcoins. Another part is the minimum bet is significantly much lower with these coins as compared to bitcoins betting. I cannot think of another reason why anyone would gamble with some other coins because at the end of the day if you are in profit you will probably be converting back to bitcoins for cashing it out.

There should have been a dedicated gambling coin that cold be used for gambling with features like low miner fees for example Tron processes transactions at almost 0 fees so that could be a good alternative for people and same for ethereum and XRP too. But, a dedicated coin for gambling alone would have been quite amazing and helpful.

When someone wanted to cashout their bitcoins into fiat from gambling rewards then bitcoin is still preferred choice because the liquidity is easier if they have bitcoin or they have to convert them in exchanges again before converting into fiat which is time consuming.

Sometimes it's a good alternative when we use the other crypto in order to manage your gambling capital and save transaction fee. You can still use eth and tron as another options because it also have a faster transaction processing time.

Ripple can also be a good choice to be used for gambling, but not all gambling site have those option because almost all of the gambling website has bitcoin as their main coin to play gambling. Maybe many gamblers still uses bitcoin for gambling because bitcoin is their favourite coin to playing gambling.

  • It eases the accounting of casino as owner can easily maintain the accounts and statements when all profit/loss are measured in common denomination i.e. chips.

Chips will be even more confusing

Whatever cryptocurrency is your favorite you always know where you stand, i.e. how much it costs in dollars and what your balance is worth for the simple reason you are already quite familiar with it (as this is what being favorite suggests). Further, many casinos allow internal conversions between cryptocurrencies, so on-site gambling currency is kinda redundant. And you can always use Bitcoin whenever you need to bring winnings, losses, etc into conformity with some common metric (what many casinos do anyway)

you said your already using xrp so why not stick on it  ? i also use xrp and i love it compare to btc   . when you use big amount of btc you will also pay huge fees not unless if you are aware with that and you want that to happen  ?  this already cuts your profit from gambling not to mention the charges from the house edge  .  xrp is already popular on exchanges or on wallets so i dont think you will have a hard time to exchange it  but you can infact benefit from its lightning speed transfers   .

Bitcoin fees are always a little higher on gambling site as well as exchange site. For gambling I use XRP & ETH most of the time, you can try XRP, because it is easy to use, faster and it is cheaper than others. I use BTC when I gamble a big amount of money cause it is easy to exchange to any currency after withdrawal.

It may come as a surprise to you to learn that many Casinos have embraced Bitcoin Lightning Network for ease of use to transfer funds in and out (one or two sats to send a transaction).

Still playing with bitcoins?

I only use bitcoin in casinos

Or have you switched to TRON or Ripple?

with so many other options like ETH, LTC, Dogecoin, why just talk about Tron and XRP?

Anyway, every crypto has its own benefits but how important is it for you to have a variety of different cryptos to play in casinos?

in my opinion all casinos should add more altcoin like ETH, LTC, Dogecoin... because that will make people use more altcoins instead of using altcois just for hol and trade

Agreed, but when it comes to big gambling, I have to liquidate part of the profit as soon as possible and it is undeniable that BTC has more liquidity than XRP. Moreover, most of the local exchanges are support BTC, so it is much safer for me to use Bitcoin for large amounts of money albeit it cuts more fees.

It may come as a surprise to you to learn that many Casinos have embraced Bitcoin Lightning Network for ease of use to transfer funds in and out (one or two sats to send a transaction).

Dear Timelord2067, I welcome it, But the exchanges are very crucial in this case, most of the exchange’s charges higher fees for BTC withdrawals. So, in the case of small gambling, it is very annoying and uneconomic to transfer BTC on casino again and again.

Still playing with bitcoin, but most of the time I used ripple, aside from it is cheap, it is faster.

Every time I have found a gambling site, I always look if depositing ripple is available because I wanted to pay only a little amount of fee when having transaction.

Sometimes it's a good alternative when we use the other crypto in order to manage your gambling capital and save transaction fee. Bitcoin used for casinos usually had huge fees, that's why other coins was also useful in order to increase your winning profit. You can still use eth and tron as another options because it also have a faster transaction processing time.

I choose Tron than to use ethereum because the tron transaction fee is smaller than ethereum so that can reduce the cost for me to send some amount of tron. Ripple can also be a good choice to be used for gambling, but not all gambling site have those option because almost all of the gambling website has bitcoin as their main coin to play gambling. Maybe many gamblers still uses bitcoin for gambling because bitcoin is their favourite coin to playing gambling.
Majority will matter most on value thats why they would always prefer on using bitcoin than any other alts but when the time comes that fees are way too high then thats the time they
would consider on using some alts but on this current state where fees arent really that high then they dont really bother on paying it up.Its matter of choice or preference though.

Saving up fees is one of the important things to consider here on crypto space neither you are trading or gambling you should really take this consideration.

I still prefer playing my bets with bitcoin as it gives me a sense of satisfaction that my coins have utility purposes as I don't consider bitcoin as just a tool for profit purpose. Also since I don't buy into the idea of altcoins been used as currency, I don't used them for any payment purpose instead prefer trading them to get more bitcoin as that is the most useful feature insee in them. Sometimes it's quite frustrating to withdraw with bitcoin due to the fees and time wasting but the moment those coins land in your wallet, the wait would had been worth it.

Bitcoin is my favorite, but lately I choose ETH because the fees are lower when it comes to withdrawing. According to the reviews, I'm considering trying Tron because they have said that the rates are still lower than ETH, and therefore I can Hold both. Casinos by offering these altcoins are looking for better alternatives for their clients.
However I am convinced that Bitcoin will always be the favorite anywhere and the most requested coin.

If it is applicable to play with some unusual coins, tokens that I have, I play with them first and I really don't care that much if that losses, but if I play using bitcoin, ethereum and ripple, that gives me more excitement and hope to earn profitable and decent winnings. Meaning to say that various cryptocurrency you used in gambling does really affect your excitement depending on the value of the particular crypto you are using. In addition, depending on the feature of that crypto such as low transaction fees in terms of withdrawal.
