It looks like they are both Russian projects, so I wouldn't be surprised if same people are behind both of those 2 ponzies. To further promote their scam, they hired bumping service that is shilling their thread. Majority of those posts have been reported and deleted by now. They are doing the same thing in the Russian version of their ANN.

They definitely are into this for a long run as they are experienced scammers, they don't plan to stop with ponzi easily. I supported the flag some ponzi scheme are buying domain for several years to make investors believe that they are here in a long haul it's part of the business strategy and besides that's a small fraction of what they are going to earn from scamming people, that 5 year extensions can only cost them $30 to $40 because some domain registrar offer a big discount if you buy and extend your domain for several years.
