Wow! I have encountered this kind of scamming technique before. The problem here is some people will ride the hype and they will comment that they really do receive their share. How come they will double your bitcoin if you will send btc to them without doing anything? People should stay away on this kind of promotion.

That's why I don't participate in HYIP sites. If you pay for giveaway then there is no meaning. Also users should check giveaway price and search to find out whether this site has any revenue to pay you and what are sources of income the site has. If you identify scam then report on twitter and youtube immediately.

Very easy, people or newbies are blindly trusting anyone, and it the dreaded greed sets in, all your logical decision are thrown out of the window and you instantly thinking on how you can make or double your money instantly.

Thanks to the OP, I have reported this youtube channel so that it will be taken down and there will be no more newbie victims here.

Yeap clearly another bitcoin doubler IMO. Just look at their return plans :). Everytime you will get double,,,, hahaha. There is no doubt that its a obvious scam and all their giveways in nothing but a trap for new investors. I don’t think still any fool exist who gonna fall for this kinda trap. Because of not getting enough responses through websites now these guys are trying to wash people’s wallet by taking the help of youtube. How funny to see jack dorsey on their team.

By the way you have done a great job by drawing everyone's attention on this matter. Keep continuing your search to reveal more scammers like them.

Thanks to the OP, I have reported this youtube channel so that it will be taken down and there will be no more newbie victims here.
Nice step,,,video has already been removed.

As of the time of this being posted they are still live until now (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dNRXhBEA3o) which there are currently 2,416 watching the channel, the chat is also disabled unlike other fake streaming giveaways in Youtube so there are no other members can warns them it also looks like that like and dislike button are disabled as well. From what I know and what I have seen in previous related cases the best way to handle this is to mass report the page and/or the video, I did my part and reported the video in spam or misleading and chose scam and fraud. I believe enough reports the same us mine will be able to take down this channel.

Just a hacked youtube account.

The original name of the youtube is "Gamenetwork9", the Chanel focused on gaming game (PUBG). They still active around 2 days ago uploading some content about PUBG but suddenly the name of youtube changing to "Twitter News" and doing live streaming about the giveaway.

Probably the original owner still tries to claim his account, since he was still active uploading 2 days ago. Since he provides his email on the description video, could be the phishing attempt tried to spam him a phishing or offering a phishing promotion to review register or application contains some malware.

It's not easy which is like you're talking about

They just normal people who don't understand how to handle privacy and security correctly, and since they not a crypto user it's mean the hacker easier to phishing and hack temp. It's just like an investment advice, went some people from cryptocurrency trying to offering Ponzi/MLM into a non-crypto user it makes the target just like a fish and they falling to the scheme.

That's why they really easy to bait, cause they don't have so much knowledge, and they targeting a non-crypto user.

Some hacker pretending to be a business company who want to advertise by using their youtube and since the creator also need some money then he falling to the hack attempt. I believe why most of youtube got this scheme, cause advertises promotion could be their other passive income since Adsense really long to reach for the minimum withdrawal.

It looks like this video has been taken down already:

It will take just a couple of minutes to report this scam videos: [Guide]: How To Report Fake Crypto Related Youtube videos (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228485.0).

They are all gone. Thanks to those who have reported it. Most of the time Youtube will react very quickly when they see that a certain channels or video has been reported many time. And it takes a collective effort from this community to fight against those scammers. So reporting them is a must and I would say a duty to all of us to clean up crypto-sphere.

I don't think that they "don't" care for their account's security but them making Youtube as their profession will make them vulnerable to these. I've seen news on how these channels got hack and the main reason is a company/organization will be pretending that they are looking for sponsors and will ask for the Youtuber to review the product by downloading something, that something is ofcourse a malware which purpose is to know your Youtube channel's information. It's not their fault but if an opportunity like that came knocking on your door I know a lot of us will also be fooled when it comes to their tactics.

We should form a group that will report this to Youtube and Youtube should be quick to take this down, it's very risky for newbies who do not do research and follow these popular personalities and thinking that the giveaway is legit, they are still creating because many are still falling, they are still making a profit out of it.

I'm sorry to burst the bubble for you but I don't think this will end. Cyber criminals find this as one easiest way to scam people, and believed me, there are still a lot of newbies who falls for this trick. So no doubt that they will ramp up this scheming using this method. And cyber criminals really knows the psychology here, the greed factor that makes this very successful campaigns for them.

Youtube really needs to make some adjustments here, otherwise their platform will be used by those crooks. Abusing it to the max, and all we can do is to report them right away.

oohh, there is a new platform they are using which is the YouTube. Because before I only see those scam giveaways on twitter.
Their actions on twitter were replying to tweets of Elon Musk or other famous crypto twitter accounts, and also it got lot of liked from other twitter users, for sure it also a bot.
Those kinds of tweets on twitter or replying to some tweets is for sure a bot.But hopefully everyone is safe no one got scammed.

I'm sure some newbie will fall for it, the Twitter scams make a killing before Jack Dorsey did something about it.

Twitter Youtube & medium have very fast reflexes when it comes to people's feelings. They ban or quarantine users over racism and harassment in an instant. Even after a single report.
But somehow accounts getting thousands of bot likes for obvious to part users from their funds can remain up enough time for the scam to actually get enough attention and be spread to a wide viewers.

It's not possible. They obligatorily have legal department and lawyers who scan everything. It's impossible they accept ads they don't understand (and i'm sure they understand cryptos)

There are many scammers you used Vitalik's name as well, its not just a btc thingy, these scammers are going to use whoever they want as long as this personalities are really well known in crypto community.

I'm sure some newbie will fall for it, the Twitter scams make a killing before Jack Dorsey did something about it.
If you are referring to the Twitter hack incident, they are to blame and not btc itself. You just have to be very careful to not fall for this gimmick. And this kind of people are all over, Twitter/Youtube/Google. If this services slacks on how to prevent this on their platform, then we need to learn and educate on how to spot them early.

Look like google/youtube missing or don't know anything how crypto scam working in the world. if you create ads about prostitution or drugs, I think youtube can't showing on his channel because they know about those case exactly.
If they don't know how the things are working then why they are approving those ads, I did watched the same kind of fake giveaway ads on July 17 and 18 but I really don't know how to report them but the video I watched also the scam giveaway channel used to be a hacked one.And they hacked more youtube channels to posts vechain giveaway exactly at the twitter hacked but I can't see any of those channel to list here.
