What do you mean by success? Is only having the fund raised is so? However, IEO with top tier exchange requires a ssignificant fee also, for example, Binance requires $200k to $700k. Imagine, how expensive it is for a small project?

I's just a competition to get the profit instantly. The major exchange sites will always have more the 80% to give a decent profit to the all of IEO participants.
The top exchange sites are only accepting the trusted project which has already made a lot of progress before it was getting launched on the launch pad platforms. It's not easy to be eligible to be the next iEO that will be launched on that launch pad.

Big investors will only buy on big exchanges. This is nothing new

Why would you trade on a small exchange when on a big exchange you know the volume is great. Not only best investor but, all investors small or big use big exchange. There are many benefits of using these exchange and above all the trust level is very high.

IEO is not best for investors because always get bad news when coin listing on market and active for trading with lower price always, almost several time with IEO listing on bigger exchange market like Binance failed reach higher price above IEO. Always going down and keep lower price after active for trading.

yes indeed the top exchange can make you rich in the near future if you follow the IEO they are holding, the most important thing is not too greedy to get more than the initial target that has been planned, because the hype does not last long and usually after a month in the market will experience very deep impairment.

I can't argue with it as the success rate of top exchange in terms of IEO is pretty high compare to those shit exchange and if you are a wise investor then you will surely monitor that exchange if there are any new project that has potential to become successful. Though the risk in investing to IEO is pretty high therefore most of the investors to their project are those professional one as they know better about the output of a certain project.

A new project was most likely want to launch IEO to the top exchange because they know that the will have massive investors once they will there. Because of the liquidity of the exchange, they will have good investors. Yet the fee is quietly high but for sure it will bring them a good impact on their project. I don't know if this launching IEO is the safe haven for the investors.

Binance has changed their rules since they completed the first 1-2 IEOs. FCFS has changed into a lottery and it makes people need to depend on their luck. You have a point mate and it was felt, in the recently conducted Binance Launchpad IEO event by the Cartesi Project. With the total participation of 22,000+, the Cartesi IEO event was done in a matter of minutes. The 22,000+ participants is not a joke. So I conclude that many investors are always ready to invest in large and popular crypto exchanges like Binance, Okex, Houbi, etc compare to those unknown and small crypto exchanges, The IEO placement fee ranging from $200K-$700K is not an issue if the result was an overwhelming success.

Are you sure? Sound very narrow mind if you think IEO on top exchange = auto success since only smart investors on there. What if an IEO on top exchange fails and what will you blame on? Dumb investors on there cause it? Please understand, a few IEO success because they are a legit good one.

I have never seen a new coin or token after 2017 even at the top exchange can maintain its price at least the same as the start price of a trade in one year. If it's a bad project, the best investor understands what to do with it. Pump gradually, dump instantly, then say "good bye".

I am not really a fan of big exchanges for IEO, because the start-up project may certainly not have huge fund been charged by these big exchanges. Nevertheless building a good community with quality marketing and timely updates could land a success of IEO in a good small exchange which charges less, as the project development progresses, listing can be done in bigger exchanges with less fee or even a big exchange could even list for free when the project and its community attract big attention.

exchange does not guarantee whether IEO is successful or not. so far, that's what I believe. if the project is good and doing IEO on a popular exchange, it will make investors confident and add value. however, it all depends on the concept. however, if you want to choose a good investment, choose a coin that has been developed long enough, for example, are in the top 10 coins in coinmarketcap

Sadly most marketing managers don't know this blatant truth but rather prefer giving huge sums of monies to so called Advisors who only ruin projects due to their bad strategies executed. I remember a project called Wolf Coin, it was doing very great till they got on board some advisors who only ruined the project by advising the team members to list on p2pb2b exchange.
