Say someone scammed you or someone you know and you know you can scam them back.

Would you do it? Why/why not? What do you feel?

I obv wouldn't scam anyone as well, but if someone scammed me or scammed someone near me, I would try to at least receover the funds. :/

I wouldn't scam back from the scammer who scammed me in the past. I feel it's really "unprofessional", I should giving a good revenge to him. Maybe I will ignore him and never interact with him again, even he is my best friend

Even if I had a chance I wont do it because it will make me a scammer too.

Maybe I'll try to get back what I lost from him by doing it in legal way assuming that I know this scammer personally.

for the sake of revenge yeah i would do that even if i am not a really scam type of person.There was a Youtube Video that a scammer is trying scam a person over the phone but instead of being a victim there comes a twist and the scammer is closer to become a victim lol.

Yeah thats called revenge and recovering the funds and this is whatw e do to deal with these scammers.

Right now, the biggest scammers are the medical and the government who are scamming you into thinking that Coronavirus is any more of a big deal than the normal flu season.

We all need ideas of how to get back at these scammers. One of the best ways is to listen to Karl Lentz on Angela Stark's show, at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0GFK_5dQFk. It's almost 3 hours long, but it shows you the freedom you have to fight the scammers. After all, you have time in the lockdown, right?

I'll feel disappointed if that person that I know scammed me and did it on a purpose. But I won't fight back.

And I'll say that there's karma for what he's doing.

So, you are letting yourself to be abused and do nothing about it?

It's not like that. I'll just accept it since I'm not that kind of person that you think but once is enough.

As I said, I'll say to him that there's a consequence with what he has done and let the karma do it but if he ever do it again, things and words I've said will change.

If you do long hours 6 am- 2 am, almost free you must trust people. Long city nights, I think that 70,2 Million US Dollars on the month I reward to me. Big scale mining, I'm not a simple man. I do big background work for this "company".

If it is about getting my money back I would do it.
Otherwise there is not any reason in doing that.
Scammers are something that we do not want in our community so we will try to avoid them expanding in all the community.

If someone tries to scam me, maybe I will try to get back my money form that scammer or worst, I will find a way to scam that scammer back so that scammer would taste the bitterness of what he/she is doing to a lot of people, sometimes they need a taste of their own medicine so they could stop all the wrong things that they were doing.

The word scam doesn't sound too bad, so let's put it this way:   would you steal from someone that stole from you or someone you know?
Well, i don't think it should be considered stealing If I recover the stolen stuff from the scammer or thief, but I will definitely be guilty of stealing if I steal something else that doesn't belong to me from the scammer or thief.

Obviously, when someone willfully does something bad to you, they have to be open to revenge. The problem is that it's not a matter of just scamming back a scammer. You would have to come up with a very good scam, and that's just not that simple. So people default to punching them out or something.

Scammers are likely professionals while you probably aren't.
If you try to scam back, you're open for blackmailing like "you'll give me money or I report you to the police for attempted scamming".
Scammers likely have sophisticated methods to keep themselves anonymous while you probably don't, this means that probably you are the only one who sits in the court room although both did a crime offense.

I don't waste thoughts about scammers and I don't try to scam back because it's time wasting.

Another problem arises when trying to scam back a scammer is that the pretended "identity" of the scammer could be someone who is innocent, meaning you would scam someone who is innocent.

If it's the same scammer that stole my funds, that's just taking back what was lost.

But if it's others, then it's a whole different story. You're dealing with other victims' funds.

I think this makes no sense. If a person deceived - this is his problem, he must answer for it for God, this is his karma. What you do, you get in return! Never forget this and always do only right things!

I think you can use some trick so that scammers can't use your money, but within reason.

Wow man that should be a great accomplishment to say the least. I havent done it yet, but would be happy to!

they deserve to be come a victim because this scammers has no heart and don't have sympathy to other people.

Imagine even in this pandemic they are attacking people that has no knowledge about their activities?

i don't really mind honestly. An eye for an eye. That's one of my motto in life. Just try not to get in trouble tho.

If I found out that someone deceived me, I would not deceive him in return. I would simply expose him, preferably in public. So that everyone would know that he is a deceiver. And if I deceived him in return, I would become a deceiver like him.

You would do exactly the same I would do. Especially here on bitcointalk, we has to alert the community about scammers to keep the community clean.

I have never been scammed by i once got hacked so i think this same manner i will let Him suffer .

i believe that we must not return Blood from blood and revenge is not making any help , But we are humans and we cannot just let others stepped on our heads like that.

As long as it's legal I really like the idea. Honestly just making the scammer waste time on you without making a profit would already be a win, because he can't scam anyone else in the meantime.

I don't really scam those kind of people but I would rather waste their time so they would also be frustrated for a bit or couldn't scam others while talking to me.
I once received a message asking for help pretending to be someone I know so I just continued to have the conversation and play dumb,
Till the scammer got irritated on every question that I asked back,
I really had fun wasting the scammers time since I don't have anything to do at that time so I just played along to enjoy it.

I read so many of your answers, but I thing if you get scammed you will not hesitated to scam back this scammer who scammed you :D
I definitely will scam the guy who scammed me ! I will not scam him much just to cover the losses. And after I got my money back I will tell him, to know what happened !

Powminers.com are scammers, they scammed me and if I have the choice to scam them I will do it.
I will take their shoes if I can.. It's hard to tell this but this is how I'm felling.. For sure will SCAM them back.
 

If you are scammed and you got a chance to get revenge then why not? Even if the amount they are going to scam back is way lesser than what they lost most people will perform scamming back just to give the feeling of how it will feel when you get scammed by the scammer.

I dont think I can do it. I would just get them back in other ways probably.

If someone did scam me I would not be in some hurry to scam them back.  Even if it may be so awful I could not find it on myself to return the evil act. 

Its about only doing good to others and just wanting to be the best person i can be in life.

One of the best way to take away things from the scammer without committing thesame crime is to only take back what was stolen from you in a way that nobody(both good & bad judge) will not be able to find fault in.

I will let them and not trying to scam them back because I am sure they will get scam by other people or they getting a bad experience because they made a bad things to people. I think we should forgive them to do that thing, and we hope that they will realize about the wrong thing that they did.

By whose law? Stealing from thieves is still stealing ... so it's a crime.
Is it okay to kill someone in revenge? Same principle applies.

Returning stolen property to the rightful owner would be a just procedure. However, this cannot be described as stealing from thieves.
