Title: Help the beginner find the software
Post by: vladuch1 on April 26, 2020, 07:54:59 PM
Hello. Recently, I became interested in trading. I need a software or telegram bot that would send me notifications when the volume of a candle exceeded a certain value in a certain pair of coins.

For example, take a BTC / USDT pair on a 30min timeframe, when the volume of the candle (volume) reaches a value greater than 15k, then I get a notification.

Maybe someone knows where to find such software, or ask anyone about it, I will be very grateful.

Excuse me for my bad English
Thank!!!

https://cryptowat.ch/ which is just a website has this. Free accounts get to be notified thru browser notification while paid ones has SMS and email as another option. They do provide a free trial, so you can test it.

Do know that I haven't used the said service, so I can't vouch for them. I just read somewhere that they do have this.

You can also use tradingview.com
You can create an account and set alarms that can get you alerts both on the browser and through Email. They also have mobiles app that can push notifications once the alarms are triggered.

The free version allows you to set up one alert per any given period.

You can check this https://ifttt.com
They have many ways to alert you about BTC price so check them out and I think they also support telegram. It is actually used for bot and alerts.

Also, check these links below I just google them and found it free that I think you can use on telegram to give you alert on the price of Bitcoin or other altcoins.

- Telgram bitcoin bot (https://cryptocurrencyalerting.com/guide/telegram-bitcoin-bot.html)
- Telegram bot coin alert (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2455834.0)

Why don't you use an app on your mobile which is more advanced and can give you more insight and alerts?

- Blockfolio (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blockfolio.blockfolio&hl=in)
- Crypto Market Cap (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zeykit.dev.cryptomarketcap&hl=in)

Thanks, I needed one to make my own research. For trading only volume can't help you. Rather wait for price dump then start trade from the bottom price. Without new listed coin, you can trade any promising coin from now. New coin price will be unstable until new coin can fullfil the market demand.

OP is not looking for a price notification service, but volume notification. I think IFFT might be able to help but he'll need to find an API that supports volume data grab. Those bots mentioned above only support price notifications.

What is the nature of the notifications you want to get via e-mail, phone, or text message?
Generally, trading platforms do everything automatically, so you do not need to know when the price or any other of these things will change.
If you want, you have some options:

 - IFTT.COM: The idea of the site is simple, if something happens, do so.
 - tradingview.com: You need to create an account.
 - Magnum wallet: You need to apply Telegram.

Even though there are tons of software like that, I would like to warn you that the strategies we put in with TA doesn't always happen, sometimes it hurts us instead of helps us and that is why you should be very careful with what you are doing. You said you are a beginner which means you probably haven't checked the past 10 years of bitcoin and I have been here for about 7-8 years now and I can tell you that bitcoin can do anything at any moment without caring about the volume candle or the time frame or what your software says.

It could literally SCREAM its going down and suddenly you see some billionaire buying thousands of bitcoin out of nowhere, or it could be saying its definitely going up but some person could sell tens of thousands of bitcoin all at once. Be careful out there.

I make use of this two tracking apps too and to be honest, they are good with each of them providing distinctive functions but at the end of the day, you'll arrive at almost perfect and thesame satisfaction. I make use of blockfolio more because all the features in it are almost free and they are top notch and i can't deny the fact that it is quite basic and simple to use for such sophisticated functionalities. On the other hand, Delta have some of it's top notch functions and features monetize although the app look really classy but i make use of just the basic free functions
