Good work man, as always.
Maybe you can add some merit stats, like how many merit the users have received since they joined the campaign and before that.
I think wearing chipmixer signature has an impact on the received merit.
The rest of the stats we already have in the spreadsheet.

I only have stats on total earned merits of forum users from theymos' Friday data dumps.
You can use my full version (http://loyce.club/Merit/merit.all.txt) to get Merit from a certain start date until a certain end date. My Merit data analysis (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3078328.0) also has weekly snapshots, although I just discovered I didn't keep the first ~11 months. Here's the full list of what I have left:

<…> For the retrospective stats (as you requested), I guess DdmrDdmr can help. It is a complicated request.  :P
I’m a bit short of time now, but if you provide me with a list of participants, I can do it pretty easily. I would need something like:
Code:
[AccountDateRegistered], [userId] and/or [username] , CMJoinDate, CMEndDate
CMJoinDate would be the date when the participant joined the campaign.
CMEndDate would be the date when the participant exited the campaign (or blank).

Of course, that would only lead to the display of (Merit) numbers for the periods before/during/after (when applicable), but for comparison reasons, we’d need to compare to something like posts or days (/week/month). Posts is not easy to derive for the three potential periods of time (before/during/after), so the next best would be days (or a cumulative time period). For that, we’d also need the [Date Registered dd/mm/yyyy] field.

The above would allow for the derivation of merit/day(or week or month) for all participants, before, during and after joining the campaign (when applicable).

<...>
Ok, my offer still stands for whenever (subject to getting a list as described above).

<…>
Date_l seems to be wrong, as it is not indicating the campaign exit date (or last Friday’s date/ or null), but rather a week after date_f (campaign participant aprox. first date).
Additionally, the format in the spaced code is difficult to work with. Ideally a simple csv with the data would go a long way (or google spread sheet or single space between columns in a code block).

Edit:
<…>
Without the proper participation end date per profile, Im' afraid we can’t really derive a consistent set of information to compare the before/during/after merit intervals. If at some point you still want to pursue this data, I’ll need the real end date.

Very interesting. A trip down memory lane. I had zero memory of when I joined.

One of the most interesting stats is how many people have been and gone. I had no idea there were that many. Does anyone have a vague idea of the ratio of people who got the boot vs left of their own volition? I seem to recall Darkstar doesn't publicise who's left or why, he just says new slots are open.

I'm sure the IRS/IRD/ATO and a few other Government Taxation services will be glad to read these details and follow up who has and has not paid their taxes on the funds earned (and yes, I do declare my bitcoin earnings/taxes to the ATO each year, thanks for asking) given how lucrative the campaign is these days.

For me it feels like Chipmixer campaign is here for ages already. But it just for 3 years on Bitcointalk. Word "just" is right in this case because there was plenty of longer running campaigns.
I'm surprised to see such small number of participants who are in campaign since first rounds until now. Considering that's highest paid campaign, probably not many of them left campaign themselves. Probably they got removed for inactivity and other reasons.

There were probably higher paying campaigns back in the day. I joined the Bitmixer campaign long ago when that was pretty much the lowest paying campaign of the lot. It was a pathetic 0.035 BTC per week which was often $10 or less for long stretches in 2015.

I recall waltzing straight into the Chipmixer campaign so it can't have been that big a deal at that point. These days it seems easier to become the next pope, and less holy an event too.

Surveillance and spying on another level. We are turning this place into quite the police-state. :D

Lauda has always been a principled advocate of privacy; and given the odious trolling by an idiot with an axe to grind against ChipMixer, her concern is not uncalled for.

That said, I must observe that any stats being compiled by persons on this thread must have already been subjected to much more sophisticated analysis by actual police-state mass surveillance entities.  Outside “Timelord’s” fantasy world (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5218451.0), it is not as if government agencies are n00bs who will say, “Wow, there is a forum thread listing people who are engaged in online commerce. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5243931.msg54321054#msg54321054)  Hurr durr, we had no idea!”

Amateur surveillance of publicly available OSINT data is of lesser concern to me here.  But it is of concern; and I should hope that to protect themselves against anything from harassment by nosy trolls to real-life Bitcoin armed robbery (https://github.com/jlopp/physical-bitcoin-attacks), anybody advertising ChipMixer should know privacy best practices:  Register and post exclusively through Tor, avoid leaking personally identifiable information, and—mix all payments received!

For my part, if I were a ChipMixer campaign member (which I am not), then I would ask DarkStar_ if he would pay me directly in ChipMixer chips.  A ChipMixer voucher code is effectually a quasi-banknote, payable to the bearer on demand.  It could be immediately redeemed, merged with other voucher codes, held in the form of a new voucher code, and then later split and withdrawn.  If this is done right, then both timing and subset sum analysis would be infeasible.  Blockchain spies watching outputs from ChipMixer would have no way of knowing that a financial transaction occurred off-chain.

Yes, that is basically using ChipMixer as a quasi-bank.  I don’t like trusting them or anybody else for privacy; but I do trust them to not steal money.  I myself have trusted them with much more than the amounts of campaign payments; and anyway, anybody who has a problem dogfooding ChipMixer should probably not be advertising their service.  If (and only if) dealing with such a reputable party as DarkStar_, I would have no problem accepting payment in the form of a Chip voucher code sent to me by PGP-encrypted message.  I would immediately exchange it for a fresh voucher code.

Although such a form of payment may cause misplaced cries about “transparency”, I would also expect that of all people, ChipMixer advertisers (!) should be aware of why blockchain transparency is not only overrated, but foolish.  WTF kind of braindead drooling idiot considers it a good thing to publish a business’ financial transaction records for the entire world!?  Anybody making that stupid “transparency” argument is invited to publish his own bank and credit card statements online, in an immutable, append-only P2P-network database shared globally by anonymous parties.  —Also invited to install a 24/7 public webcam in his own bedroom, just so we can all make sure that he had nothing to hide.

On the same grounds, plus to avoid on-chain transaction fees, I also suggest that campaign managers should consider using Lightning Network for payments.

WOw 3 YEARS!! Holy shit, who would have thought. I met some really amazing people in this campaign, who are smart, talented, who more importantly know their shit better than 80% of the forum. Jesus fucking Christ, its been a wild ride.

Surveillance and spying on another level. We are turning this place into quite the police-state. :D
I genuinely thought this is the case since so many people are obsessed with this. Now its become a common thing, its just amusing to see the stats and also the effort people put in to get this information. Got to hand this to them.

I just knew that scrapping Chipmixer thread properly  :D will be really appreciated by many members.

This is the longest and best signature campaign on the forum, I assume, so many members will be happy to see their full statistics on merits, posts, weeks enrolled, participants count, etc.

I even haven't mentioned the most interesting statistics, which are the money earned by Chipmixer members  ;D ;D ;D.

Thank you for this great work @Tranthidung.

nullius is mistaken in suggesting that I am the author of the thread he quotes in my name - he should check who the OP was and label that person as being delusional.  (Plus chip mixer might quietly take note of nullius' alteration to the OP thread title to propel a mistaken assertion)...

I also suggest that campaign managers should consider using Lightning Network for payments.

An excellent suggestion given I am a supporter of the LN by nullius.  I would suggest to Chip Mixer look into funding rather healthy nodes and channels especially given I encountered an instant Exchange's LN funds were depleted recently after I'd used them for BTC-LN to BCT transactions.

Chip Mixer is definitely to be congratulated in achieving its third year of a SigCamp.  I've only just started participating in Campaigns and have observed many start and fold within a few days or weeks.

That was the analysis I was looking for, just to see if the speculations that the chipmixer participants earn more merit just because of wearing that signature.
It will be fun to analyze the data now. Perfect work. Thank you :)

If there's a spike in earned merit after someone joins up I'd assume that's because they're motivated to up their quality and possibly their quantity at the same time.

I would be more than slightly appalled if someone merited someone because of what was in their sig.

Somewhere was a discussion a year or more ago that people tend to merit those with CM signaure just because they assume their quality is really high if they were accepted in this campaign. We all know that DarkStar_ is keeping an eye on the quality. Of course the participants will also try to keep they post in HQ because of that.

I'm terrible at handing out merit but on the special occasions I do it's only ever on the quality of the individual post. I don't care who it is or what's in their sig. I'd actively prefer to not merit someone already swimming in it, which means most people involved in this campaign, but they're often the ones who justify it.

Somewhere was a discussion a year or more ago that people tend to merit those with CM signaure just because they assume their quality is really high
I think I'm more likely to read those posts, just like I was more likely not to read posts when they advertise YoBit. If more people read the post, it's more likely to receive Merit too.

Some days around the Art contest. Due to such complaints, I created that thread.
Stats on signatures worn by top 100 merited users (from 2019w23-2019w44) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5201016.0). I will give you if I find it.

No, it was another discussion just while ago after I joined the CM campaign somewhere in 2018, If I remember correctly it was in the Local Section (Russian) and I saw it when I was browsing the patrol page. Some newbie was complaining about the not enough merit or merit was only for those with signature, or something like this. I'll try to search the local section but I'm not a fluent in Russian at all, I can understand it 85%, tho.

This is quite more than I needed. On there other hand there are other factors involved in the the results as well not only the higher quality of the posts but also the Merit source rewards amounts have changed.
Suchmoon was giving 4 in a batch before, Loyce 2. Others also increased the amount some time ago, this also will reflect on the results. But overall view is good.
Thank you for your effort, you can be a good CM participant yourself. I'm sure you gonna end up on those lists too :)

BTW Good luck with your sig. campaign application. :)
