Title: BuidlNow - crypto products and services curated by our community.
Post by: erne5t on April 28, 2020, 08:37:52 PM
Hey guys, what's good?

Cooked up a "quarantine" project that is about sharing crypto-related products and services out there.

https://buidlnow.com

Those products are curated via the community by upvoting the best and most useful.

Yes, kinda like the ProductHunt but strictly blockchain-related products and services.

Do you think it has a chance? Or is it still just about the price  :(

Anywho, it feels a bit empty there, It would be cool if you would help me to populate it with some great and useful product content.

Or at least check it out and let me know your thoughts on it.

Since it's required to have an account for upvoting, then you might want to consider adding a downvote option as well.
- What security measures you have in place for possible abuse cases in terms of votes?

IMHO, it has a very slim chance of finding success without having to heavily rely on some sort of promotion. I don't think users will help in terms of filling it in a significant way so you should only rely on yourself and hope for the best.

The site design looks beautiful and the interface is attractive.
Those products are curated via the community by upvoting the best and most useful.
I think you need to classify these products into sub-menus and organize them before asking others to talk about reranking them based on preference.
You also need a lot of standards in order not to be unfair to the product at the expense of the other.
Do I need an account to vote?
Is there any algorithm to ensure no offense? Or spam?
