Title: Betescrow.net is SCAM??
Post by: yNickoKun on April 30, 2020, 01:36:30 AM
I don't know if this is the correct area, but if not, I ask you to move this topic.
Well, I would like to know if the site betescrow.net is reliable, or is it a SCAM. I have a value of 0.97 BTC there, but to withdraw to my wallet, you need a deposit of 0.02 BTC.
Has anyone used or know if this is true?
(Sorry for the bad English, it is not my main language.)

I never heard of betescrow but usually casinos that request you deposit money in order for you to collect your withdrawal amounts are trying to steal your deposit money. I'm curious to know whether the 0.97 BTC in your account was gifted to you by the site operators.

Ah, that amount was given by a "friend", he shared a common group on Discord, and asked me for help, in return he gave me the amount of 0.67 BTC. I was multiplying.
On the website there are "OPTION" which are binary options, and ROULETTE.

Did he send the btc to your betescrow.net account or he has acct also in this site and just transferred the money? I have the feeling that it is a scam. Because if the platform is legit, there's no need to deposit 0.02BTC, you can just withdraw your btc at anytime, that is if the site is legit. Most of the sites that will require initial deposit fall to scam category.

The website offers addresses similar to a blockchain wallet, which is used for internal transactions. He transferred it to me that way. It's also a little suspicious, investing is different from paying to cash out.

This is a most known scam method nowadays
I am sure you have sold something to someone like a website or service etc and they asked you to escrow the money on the site. After all, you have been scammed the total sum of 0.97 BTC and don't send 0.02 BTC, you will be scammed that too.
You can move this to scam accusation.

Please move this thread on reputation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0) section, before visit this site I marked it's a scam site. Have you asked how your friend had  earned this fund and why he have transferred funds to you? Any legit site won't ask you to make deposit in order to withdraw your funds, so whatever you have multiplied your fund totally worthless. The main reason you won more funds because they are encouraging you to make deposit there so they could scam you.

For your information, this website template has been used many times for scam people. They are using same script by changing new domain names. So note this template as well to avoid future scam.

This is a classic ponzi scheme in crypto. So definitely, I will call this website a scam. And this kind of tactics by scammers, regardless it is a project, a gambling site, bitcoin doubler. As @Coolcryptovator, probably move this to  Scam Accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0) board. So don't fall for this kind of trap!!!

Can't even provide an SSL protection for their website and you know what's more? this website was just made this March, 2020 and you can really have that feeling that they're likely a scam.

Registered On:2020-03-23
Expires On:2021-03-23

With a year of registration, maybe they really try to get a victim within that span.

Are you the one deposited that 0.97BTC?

you need a deposit of 0.02 BTC.
This is a huge amount for minimum deposit, other exchanges don't implement this amount for minimum deposits.

I haven't used that site, nor will I use it in the future. It appears very shady to me based on what you've shared alone. That you are required to make a 0.02 BTC deposit before you can withdraw your 0.97 BTC sounds scammy to me. That is already 2% at least of your entire value. No decent site would charge you that high.

First my antivirus blocks this website with a warning!

Second, your friend, the so-called Chinese guy who couldn't withdraw himself because he already has an account or bitcoin is illegal in his country story?
Or the guy that told you he can make you win every game?  ;D ;D ;D

Every single website that asks you for a deposit is a scam! EVERY single one!
That 0.97 BTC you have there is worth zero! You will never be able to withdraw a single satoshi!

LE:
Oh, it's the f* CEX clone scam again...just search the forum with those keywords, there are hundreds of them.

TBH I find it as another way to promote such scam sites. Guy is newbie , site is clone of cex- no wonder its the same guy who is running the copy of cex.io and trying to scam users. Similar first case was reported like 8-9 months ago so its around for a long time.

I would like to see the transaction ID of the deposit you made of 0.97 BTC which you are trying to withdraw.  :D .
