Post by: Andreastolz on April 30, 2020, 03:05:18 PM
Our client is looking to buy up to 100,000BTC from private seller/s.

Please help us by recommending the most reliable escrow service here on Bitcointalk.org.

We will only accommodate seller/s with large quantity of Bitcoin. Thanks

A client is trusting you to buy $882,501,000 worth of Bitcoin, and you don't know where to start? Seems legit

This is also very suspicious to me. To those that will make a deal to this person, not only use escrow but look for other proofs. First post, and asking this kind of business dealings?

Haha! I was surprised when I saw the topic saying. 100,000BTC. I'm sorry to say but I feel this isn't genuine information. Lol

Assuming you are serious, you'd probably be better off getting in touch with one of the major exchanges. Some offer Over the Counter trades (e.g. Bitfinex) and some might even be able to broker you larger amounts directly.

There is definitely something fishy with the op, your client what to buy that much btc and you are here on bitcointalk, whatever happens to exchange! or they are trying to avoid doing kyc, i think with such huge amount of funds involved the safest place should be in to exchange or am i wrong,
i hope you find what you are looking for.

Super legit haha lol. Aside from the worth of bitcoin he is trying to buy, his account is brand new so who will believe on this guy?

I get it, buying from exchanges will costs you a lot with this kind of amount but man that is heck a lot to buy from an escrow or direct seller yet you don't know where to find the right people.

I expect this kind of question from a whale, but from the impression I got from you you don't look one of them.

Let me explain why you can't buy 100,000...

If you see how much bitcoin are holding the main exchanges, you will realize how big is the amount you are asking for:

https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bitfinex/  <- 66,417 BTC
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/coinbase-pro/ <- 116,911 BTC

If your investors have $872,508,000 then the best way to invest is to buy other alts and not only bitcoin.

As I thought too.
There are whales that are using the forum but they will not expose themselves and the known ones are not active anymore.
With such amount, you should contact the largest exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, etc. if you are serious with this.

Sorry OP but you're going to have an extremely difficult time finding someone who has 0.47% of the total bitcoin supply they're willing to sell.

OTC price would offer much lower than the exchanges.

This must really be a scam. If your client have that much of money he'd best contact a real people who knew how things work. 100,000 BTC to be bought by someone would surely spark a flare of alert when sending it to a wallet. Tim really has a good point.

I think it will be very difficult for you to find someone with such a large amount of BTC and above all with the ingenuity of selling them like this ...

Title: Re: Looking to BUY 100,000BTC

Well this is a huge amount to buy plus the increasing price of bitcoin at this moment is getting pump so I guess you'll spend much more of what you have calculated foo 100,000 BTC. BUt you know I'm skeptical with this one, first from your brand new account, if you're going to buy at this amount then you should be complying with exchanges for much safer transaction not just an escrow. 100,00 BTC for real? this is even bigger from some of exchanges that holds bitcoin too.

Coinbase Pro holds almost 1 million BTC according to   BitUniverse (https://beincrypto.com/coinbase-holds-a-whopping-966230-bitcoin-7b-in-cold-wallet/) or Chain (https://chain.info/exchange)

Anyhow, those topics pop up quite frequently

I'm looking for Seller Who have huge amount of BTC(over 100,000~) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5139639.0)

Looking to purchase 100,000+ Bitcoins (~$700,000,000) USA (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5239010.0)

Do I really have to add how legit those offers are?  ;D

100.000 BTC = Apr. 870.000.000$ (The currency is constantly changing. For example, it could have been over 900 million in the morning)

And someone who will invest about $ 1 billion is looking for help here. Did I get it right?

Do you think there is something wrong with that? I am sure someone who will make such a big investment would have already received support from a consultant and made this purchase. For example, I know that a few major exchanges provide special support in this regard.

I quoted few from the insensitive comments. I must say this, that my request doesn't look regular doesn't make it scam or illegal, y'all need to relax cos I didn't ask for anyone's private keys. I am new here because I came directly from bitcoin.org in quest for how best and fast we could find private sellers who might want to sell off.

It's your nose, feel free to smell :)

If I didn't ask for your email address nor your private keys, please grow up and stop being so judgmental.

We're looking for private sellers because client doesn't want to go through KYC process with OTC broker. A reputable escrow here would be for filter only. Real lawyers are in place to handle transactions officially.

Forgive my accusations then. I feel the bravado  ;D

Make sense to look for a private seller to avoid KYC. Everyone should really be avoiding KYC but 100,000BTC worth of fiat can easily snap a good person to stupid. Be careful who to trust someone with that much money. Good luck.

Instead of buying 100,000BTC from one hodler why don't you split it up to say 100 BTC from 1000 sellers? You'll find at least some people with that amount of bitcoins.

Normally person to person buyer or seller are not legit or fake. 100,000 BTC is huge amount to scam people easily. There are lots of trusted website available in market to buy and sell bitcoins but scammers are always looking opportunity to scam people. This is shame on this industry. I got scammed in Belgium to sell BTC in cash before. So be aware of this kind of people.

person to person  is infact more better or more legit imo , not the ones you transact online but im referring to meet ups.  you can bring friends with you just to make sure that you are safe  . while im not saying online transactions are scam but they are legit too as long your buying or selling on trusted/top platforms . using trusted escrow is also a must when doing transactions online if you arent buying/selling from an exchange  .   100k btc is something that is huge enough so i dont think an exchange can have this fund or will allow this trade

I don't think that the members being suspicious about your post are in the wrong here. If you think about it 100,000 BTC is a lot and you considering an escrow here in the forum is something strange, I don't even think a single escrow service here in the forum have handled that kind of amount even if you combined all their transactions together so it would really be a strange request for them to handle such thing, I even doubt that they'll be confident in taking that amount without even being suspicious themselves. Since we are talking about a big amount here why don't you just take this transaction to a more professional service where they can confidently handle that kind of amount.

things to consider

1 - the customer does not want to deal with KYC

2 - they are not requiring that the full amount be from a single seller

3 - they state only large quantities will be considered - what do they consider to be a large quantity?

4 - I still think they mean 100k USD worth of BTC not 100k BTC which is astronomical - who on this planet has the cash to spend close to 1 billion USD on bitcoin. Am not saying there are not people that rich but how many are willing to put nearly 1 billion dollars into bitcoin?

Here you see how unrealistic it is to buy 100000btc.
You would be the biggest trader of the universe.
With a free anonymous bitcointalk membership...sure...and a friend(investor) for whom you do it...sure...
If anyone could handle that, he will have a registered business with real offices and a handful of notarys and lawyers and banks.
Probably with a handful of stunning officegirls too.

100% KYC and Know Origin of Funds/Coins and no cash, in real world there is no way around,
and even then it will be very hard to find a bank that would accept funds for that.

Nobody does that here. Almost nobody does that anywhere else.

I think it is unrealistic, you can't buy large amounts of bitcoin on the forum (i'm not saying no one has it), using escrow is also very risky when the amount is approximately 1 billion dollars. With such large quantity of Bitcoin, each lowest transaction also 1000BTC, can't trust anything unless face-to-face transactions :D.

With all P2P available with escrow, while looking for the involvement of third party? It look fishy to me and suspicious.

While y'all are here jumping into conclusions like a bunch of illiterates, I'm building healthy business relationships with people who are ready to get to work and make good stuffs happen. I'm sorry I can't explain more than I have done so far, maybe my first post wasn't good enough, I'm sorry again. what you could do is post the public address which holds all this btc - that will silence anyone that questions it. I mean 100,000 btc would be impressive

well - when/if you manage to accumulate 100,000 btc I do hope you share the address - I mean we can find the address easily - as there are currently only 3 addresses with 100,000 btc or more.

hK24tcLEWcgNA4JxpvbkNkoAcDGqQPsP with 255,502.15642256 BTC

bc1qgdjqv0av3q56jvd82tkdjpy7gdp9ut8tlqmgrpmv24sq90ecnvqqjwvw97 with 100,000.99885181 BTC

3KZ526NxCVXbKwwP66RgM3pte6zW4gY1tD with 101,857.24750535 BTC

at least those were found in just a few minutes of searching and all 3 were active in the past 24-48 hours
