Title: A little curious about the Newbie account on the [AIRDROP] page.
Post by: YOSHIE on May 01, 2020, 02:13:21 PM
I'm a little curious about Newbie accounts that participate in [AIRDROP]: Topic: ✅[AIRDROP][08/40-]Tachyon VPN Bug Report AIRDROP|$20-$200 Each|Top 100 on CMC! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5239072.0), all their accounts are registered in 2018 and 2019, which makes me curious that I only see they have one post per account, and the registration months are the same, January, 2018 and November 2019.

Try to see in every page.

I want to know.
Does the account belong to one person, or just to manipulate their AIRDROP to attract investors.

What do you guys think about that account...!

This looks fishy indeed. I lean towards one person being behind bunch of those newbie accounts in an attempt to abuse the airdrop, as tachyon protocol tokens are already listed on exchanges. If they indeed give 30-100 usd, person behind all the those accounts can make some easy money.

But then again, if you check their ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5194065.0), it is obvious that they hired bumping service to promote their project, so it  wouldn't be a surprise if they are doing it again.

Yes, I think so, then what can be done with the account.

Is it enough to just report or there are other ideas that are a bit challenging to do with that account.

I went deeper, indeed they are in there are some Alt accounts that were found...!
Maybe I need a little time, I'll post on the famous Alt nantik, Alt connected.

It's likely that someone created a ton of alt accounts back in the ICO boom for the purpose of collecting tons of each token from the bounties.

As long as it wasn't against the rules of the bounty, then using an alt is allowed.

If you have found alts, it's gonna take you some time to go through each bounty they posted on and got paid from.

Most probably all accounts are belongs to a person or a group. There is two possibility, they are hired for bumping thread or they want to gain some money by participate on airdrop. I have remembered this kind of services could hired from marketplaces like fiverr. My another suspension is these accounts was created for farming purpose but they are failed due to merit system. So they are proceeding what can they do. Unfortunately we are unable to take any action against them nor it could moderate by forum. Need more evidence like connected account or they have been hired for this job.
