Title: Have you ever regret anything about the past?
Post by: BlackHatCoiner on May 04, 2020, 10:23:58 AM
I'm talking to the people who once had 1000BTC in 2010. (for example)

Did you ever think that bitcoin would reach that price?

What is the worst thing you've done, that now you wish you hadn't done it?

One thing that I regret from the past is only when I invested my 0.001 BTC on the investment site, it was recommended by my friend so I believed her so bad in a way that I don't even do some research about it or even check some reviews about the website. As a person who always values money, I get so sad when something happens about my money.

I always do some research before I get into something, or before investing on a website but because it is recommended by my friend I wasn't able to check the reviews about it cause I really believe her. I hope that I would turn back the past and I would not do that again. I would not invest in something without doing research about it.

0.001BTC are really cheap. When did this happen? On its 20000$?

If I had to go back to 2013 when I first introduced with bitcoin, I would have been purchased as much as BTC possible. I never thought that btc could hit such a big amount. I used to take the instant profit and to be honest, I made a lot back then, but never thought it could make me purchasing all my dreamt things.

Do you really think that these people will just tell you their stories about their experiences?what the heck mate because either they are millionaires now or a perfect loser who get out of this market long time ago.

well what OP is asking about 2010 though back in 2013 is also a good part of crypto because the price is still lower those days.

I'm that the person but I guess I have a chance to buy it earlier when the price was not that too pricey and just around $200. I don't consider that worst but I find it regretting because I didn't take bitcoin seriously.

If I did and managed to hold it, I definitely have my fruitful years.

The worst thing I have done in the past on my bitcoins was investing it to a site and later I found it as a scam. I failed to do research nor checking the business license I have trusted the site because of all the promises they are giving to their possible investors but all of it had gone including my investment. Now I've learned my lesson so every time I do transaction and trading I'll make sure it is not a scam regardless if I will win or lose on it.

If the folks who spent their BTC when it was worth less had instead held onto them it is very possible the price would have never risen and we’d be talking about how smart people were to dump their BTC for whatever they could get for them when they had value. We should all thank those who participated in the trading of BTC along the way, for they helped build the Bitcoin project into what it is.

Yes it's true. And BTC will always have value from now on. I (possibly) am sure  :P

I can’t say that I've ever regret anything about the past. Even if I made some mistakes, these were not mistakes, but what had to happen in order for me to learn from this and become who I am at the moment.

Well, it really hurts to remember but I think back in 2015 a friend of mine offer be bitcoin for only 480usd. Man if only I was able to predict right? I couldve been one of the most richest person in the world today.  ;D

The first time I was introduce to Bitcoin by a friend I was really carry away by the lucrative offer and interest I stand to gain, my credit card was use to withdraw money from an unknown site, in a flash I lost my money and then realized its was a scan but thank God, after series of research work and senimar, I fully understood crypto.

yes, I often regret why I did not know bitcoin 10 years ago if time could go back I would learn about bitcoin and I will get bitcoin as much as possible since the assets bitcoin and the price of bitcoin have beat the price of gold is so in the interest in the whole world I was actually very shocked when the price of bitcoin reaches thousands of dollars and could become digital currency in the interest of many people in the world.

Many had became rich when bitcoin reaches $20k, if i had bitcoin in 2010 and sell it with small amount i would also regret it. But we would never know that it could reach this point how bitcoin had been popular and the price became so high.

The worst thing I did in the past and regretted it so far is that I did not enter the world of encryption when I heard about it in 2015 as I believed that this field is a waste of time and there is no benefit from it I joined this field at the end of 2016, and if I joined since 2015, I would be able to make profits Very good of it

After reading many different books about life, I realized that the main thing is really not to regret something that happened in the past. Because it’s because of this or that situation that you are now such a person and everything is going as it should, so I regret that I didn’t read what to do in my free time before, an excellent article, more details (https://infolific.com/leisure/top-2020-slots-that-are-getting-the-most-buzz/) here

Year 2017 was I entered in the crypto world and the same year my regret was I didn't sell my all cryptos when the price was in peak, the market was bullish. I'm so greedy that time that I didn't sell all my cryptos until the price went down suddenly. I missed the big profit that time.
That peak is coming again in 2021. I guess it happens a year after every Bitcoin halving.

2015 and 2016 are almost the same year. No much distance between them. So, I believe you still started well compared to those who had the opportunity in 2010 but never keyed in till 2017 when the crypto market massively peaked. Keep doing what you are doing and with time the gains will be yours to harvest.

I entered crypto after the 1st quarter of 2018, so I arrived at a point wherein I missed the bull run and I wasn't that much aware yet that it's going to be bear market from that point onwards.

But knowing now what I wasn't aware before, is something that would more or less prepare me from what's yet to come after the Bitcoin halving recently.

I think it's in humans nature to think about the past and have regret. We just can't help it, but we need to be stronger than that. There is no point in crying about lost investment opportunities. You can only learn from them and move on, trying not to do the same mistakes again. With hindsight it's fairly easy to judge bad investments, but looking at it with the information only available at that time is much more difficult.

So having bought 1 Pizza for a bitcoin in 2010 seems bad now, but same goes for investing in the IPO of Google, Amazon or Tesla and selling your stocks right after the IPO just making a few bucks. Or buying Lehman stocks in July 2008.

There will always be good inestment opportunities coming up.

One lesson should be not to sell all your crypto currencies in the first place.

I've regretted the past However the crypto market isn't stable so it must be more or less I still remember the year 2017. At that point the worth of Bitcoin was much higher and that I have lost tons of cash. But now I don't underestimate that the market could also be better within the future so we'd like to be strong.

Yups we all need to move on from our fast regrets because of making wrong decision towards treating bitcoin.

But since market volatility is still there meaning the chance of profiting is still in our way, maybe not now but in future it is.

Everyone did something they regret, maybe not a lot necessarily, but still.

Wish I wouldn't have dropped out of school, even thought I felt depressed and I was done with everything.
I regret it every time I'm looking for a job, looking for opportunities and thinking about my future.  ???

Do you know the rearview mirror of the vehicle? Imagine if you were driving a car and your eyes were only on something in the rearview mirror. believe me you will ignore what lies ahead. It's a philosophy that the past can be seen but only once in a while (like looking at the rearview mirror) don't look at it again and again later you will hit what's in front of you.

If I had 1000 bitcoin in 2010, I will still hold it until now or at least until the price can increase to $10k, and I will sell it for some bitcoin and get my biggest profit. I will not sell all of 1000 bitcoin because I want to sell them for the other high price, and I will still hold them in my wallet. The only worst thing that I regret is I am not joined with bitcoin in 2010 when the price is too low, but I still search for the other job in my real life, and although I am familiar with the internet at that time, I did not try to search for an online job.

I like the example you have given and we should look in the past but should not be carrying it in present. Only thing what we can do is learn from it and ensure do not repeat same thing again and learn from it. This is the best thing we can do and should continue to do so.

Never regret for something like that. You made your choice probably between her and somebody else. Just be happy with the person who is standing next to you.
I'm have regrets about one monthly payment from my job once. Me and my boss were having a drink after work and he suggested to pay me that month salary with BTC and i didn't accept the offer. Then BTC was really cheep 1000usd probably.. So guys this is my regret, now I could have 38 monthly payments..
