The novel covid-19 crisis has created a massive awareness in cryptocurrency that thrends, social media sites confirmed that cryptocurrency is one of the most discussed topics on the platform. do you think that this awareness that cryptocurrency deserved has finally arrived or is their more to offer for people to consider cryptocurrency as a means of long term investment.

There has not been a better time to prove that bitcoin is a better store of value over stocks than now. Thankfully, crypto has performed better than other global financial assets including oil and this his put it in the linelight, so I expect more adoption and use as time goes on

Already the stock market is crashing globally and most countries are now going through an economic recession which means hard days are coming for common people. Saving money and leading a normal life in these situations will be a big struggle.

Only the cryptocurrency market is showing a decent growth and stability. Therefore I think there will be a good amount of investment from new and old investors after this pandemic is controlled.

Cryptocurrency has proven to be ahead of other digital assets in this covid19 era. Who would have thought US OIL will drop below 0$ before bouncing back, that's the height of volatility hence not only crypto is highly volatile. I believe after this covid19, more people will be involved in crypto, since some crypto firms like Binance are already creating more awareness with their donations to curb covid19 (showing crypto can also be used for positive things).

People may discuss about the importance of using crypto currencies in this pandemic period because people facing hard time on spending the physical cash on many places due to the fear of getting infection from currency notes and also stock market people might talkin about cryptos as better long term investment. So crypto market get more benefits from this corona than the impact.

There is more for crypto to offer. They are interested because everyone is in their homes but what's next? when everyone is allowed to go back to their jobs and start working again from 9am-5pm. The positive feedback for crypto is recognizable but this is not yet the peak of its recognition. There is the halving which also made people aware that there is something big that's about to explode in the near future for bitcoin. It's true that bitcoin or crypto in general, is getting better visibility during this time. But people are still investing in traditional assets because the uncertainty is higher than ever. However, there is no official data to prove the same but I believe cryptos deserve much more attention than what they are getting now! 

This pandemic time is a good time to invest in our favourite coins including BTC. As the BTC halving is coming up so maybe the price soar up to the mark. So we all can hold these coins for the long term.

I do not know if the pandemic has caused more people to be interested in Crypto but the recent spike in query search for  Bitcoin halving  on Google, which hit record high last week makes me believe there are more interest in Crypto in general now, the issue is just that do search volume equate to more people investing in Crypto

I think we would be seeing no changes like right now nothing has changed in case of crypto currencies. Yeah, the price did start to fall initially as people started to panic, but it did recover soon.
Won't be surprised to see the price crashing though. As the economy starts to recover, people might want to take the advantage of cheap stocks and sell of their coins to invest on stocks.

Depends on investor sentiment because the epidemic is still increasing day by day in countries with large economies and surely this will make people more careful when choosing to invest. I completely agree. In a crisis, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The cryptocurrency mainly includes only the rich, because the poor are afraid of something new. So you can not worry about the crypto world.

I think the awareness of cryptocurrency has risen than a few years ago, especially if right now, many people cannot go to any places they want. They will try to search for another form that can help them to make money, and I think they can find cryptocurrency while they connected to the internet. People can use cryptocurrency as a long term investment, but they need to learn before they start to invest in crypto.

It is very true that there could have been some awareness on cryptos during the lockdown periods in many countries because people tend to surf internet more to keep themselves busy.  However, I can't really say this will have noticeable change on the adoption of Cryptos.  This has to do with mindset some people have towards Cryptos, so we just have to wait and see the post effect data before we begin to make some conclusions.

Cryptocurrency will become more attractive to public if later after this Pandemic period ends. Observers of the world economy assess if this Pandemic can create a crisis worse than in 2008. If that happens then the world will lead to a digital world where the money used is also digital money, So I am sure they will choose Bitcoin as the world currency, IMO.

i agree with that fact that rich get richer. but it is not nessessary that poor get poorer if we talk about cryptoworld. poor can get richer with cryptomarket. atleast many guys can save their money in crypto with hold strategy.

Some of people will try to look for the other payment method online since pandemic hit us a lot when it comes to payment system online and other will find investment opportunity like this since cryptocurrency is not affected a lot of this corona virus. That's true and in so many cases that have already proven that the richer has more resources to dominating everything. We have seen some big companies started to invest in the companies that can bring them all decent profit while the poor can't even get some foods to keep their lives.
But there must be an exception for crypto because it also helps the poor people too. The poor are not yet afraid because they can get something from crypto.

I don't know what will happen after this pandemic is gone but i expect positive or greenish crypto market, some thinks that crypto won't survive this pandemic and infact it performs better than stock now many are fully aware of crypto potential, I expect more adoption rate, let's all sit back and watch

As far as bitcoin, obviously it has grown tremendously after it has been tested during the covid-19 crisis. The price went as low as $3800 and people (no-coiners) are saying that it is already doomed and the price will go to 0. Look today, we are almost touching five digits again.

Similar to had happened to altcoin market as well, it has bounce back already and the price today is now the same prior to the covid-19 pandemic. Awareness? it has growing slowly, even at this crisis so no doubt that it will continue to gain a lot of investors and traders specially that we are just a couple of days from bitcoin halving.

I have such an expression in the country "there would be no happiness, but misfortune would help". The same is true in the situation with crypto and pandemic. Interest is growing, the number of users as well, I hope that this trend will continue after the situation normalizes.

if we think using existing logic then when this corona outbreak is over then many countries will try to improve their economy and will certainly have a good impact on the price movement of cryptocurrency which will again turn green again.

All crypto enthusiast are optimistic that crypto adoption will boom after the pandemic, but i really like your first line "i don't know what will happen after this pandemic". It's a two way thing as always, but at least many feared crypto because of the negative side of volatility (which also has its pros anyways), now its clear that not only crypto is highly volatile since the stock market was also hugely volatile this covid19 period. We'll see a better crypto price in the market. Cryptocurrency seems not affected a lot of this virus. I know it will be a good run for cryptocurreny. As you can see, btc along with other altcoins continue to rally in the market even the virus still spreading all over the world. I'm sure crypto projects and other crypto aggrement with business will surely accepted. We definently want to ride this upcoming possibly bullrun if it will happen again this year.

Covid-19 is good for cryptocurrencies and bitcoin in general, because governments will press more and more money because of the pandemic. However, cryptocurrencies are still likely to be impacted by some potential sharp movements of the traditional markets, so it's better to be cautious at this time.   

Not so happy to called that good cause a lot of people suffered from it. But I can see the effect of crisis envelopes a marked on cryptocurrencies. Many countries open up their arms to embracing their institutional tradition to financial aspect using digital currencies. Even the stock market is badly harmed cryptocurrency market remains strong and even going back fast before this crisis happened. But with the continuous situation with this virus we cant expect a full recovery and anything can go sideways. At least since this pandemic spreading cryptocurrency especially bitcoin has given a few thing that should be changed by most people.

First, they have to change a negative thinking to cryptocurrency. As we may know who don't believe to bitcoin and they tend to belittle it.

Second, now is a good time to change the payment method. Digital payment system should be used by most people on this world because it will be safe.

Three, I can compete that bitcoin and gold are same. Both of them can be used as store of value. As you can see how many investment place like stock and etc who got failed to meet this situation but no with bitcoin.

Even when this pandemic continues to unsettle the public, the crypto market is able to rise and after the recovery occurs we still have a consistent increase and of course this event will attract more investors and even ordinary people to invest or just looking for quick profits in this market. That way, at least I'm sure for now and even until this pandemic ends the crypto market will get a sustainable pump because there is indeed a bitcoin halving event also in the next few days which might be able to trigger a faster and significant increase.

After this pandemic the fate of the Cryptocurrency industry is secured the market is still moving even if we are in the middle of the pandemic, the industry is just starting out to become a preferred payment processor, some countries are already using it and many people are putting more trust in Cryptocurrency because of it's resiliency in the current condition.

The economic effect and recovery time would be different for different countries depending to their situation. And that would make a difference in how the value of fiat and other investments perform. Bitcoin and crypto being a global currency and not as affected by the pandemic would be a center of attraction for many people.

In my own opinion, cryptocurrency will remain strong after the pandemic. Even amidst the pandemic, some thought cryptocurrency would shamble. I don't see cryptocurrency being on trend at this pandemic period any different than normal days. People talk about it since there was a huge violation on both the crypto and the stock market. A lot talk about finding safe heaven in crypto or move to crypto but all I see is just talk.

How do you see it as a talk? I mean bitcoin is literally higher than the price it was 3 months ago and there are thousands of people dying every single day everywhere around the world. How do you really think that is not people seeing bitcoin as a safe heaven? Of course it is a safe heaven because as you can see right now there is really not that much of issues with people actually wanting to put money into bitcoin when everyone is having a trouble economically all around the world.

If that is not really enough proof that people see it as a way to store their value, I don't know what else you need. What should have happened? Bitcoin should have gone over 20k during a pandemic that stopped all business in the world? You know that is not going to happen.

It all depends on the plan of those who have lots of money. The market capitalization of the crypto market is quite small, and pushing up the price of bitcoin will also be an easy one.
What matters is the recognition of people around the world. If the central bank in China can do that, then surely crypto will be a huge market in the future.

Staying at home made a lot of people curious and search what cryptocurrencies are. That made a lot of google searches about bitcoin and its respective cryptocurrencies. The halving actually made everyone wanting to have bitcoin as it approaches before, speculations were increased why it shouldn't be missed by anyone who's interested to it. In the opinion of others, deserved or not, cryptocurrencies will get the attention and awareness that it should have because year after year, it's becoming known and governments and financial institutions are getting involved.

At this point in time, I believe many people have gotten more knowledge about the crypto space and so on, while some will likely go for trading some might resort to investing in IEO and so on, it all depends on what the person wants and how to go about it. Now talking about the fate of the crypto space; the fate is a good one because it will only continue growing no matter the odds being faced at each point in time. Also, since there is more to be expected from the crypto space it means that everyday, the crypto space will continue proving itself worthy for long term investment; this pandemic has shown the potential of crypto to the whole world.

In my own idea, the market would be stabilized after this pandemic and several of the investors holds back to their investments and crypto market would eventually rise up again. Several of altcoins and bitcoin would be back to increase prices. That is my thought of the crypto market after this pandemic.

It's already happening, although we will see another correction in the future. There will time for bitcoin and altcoin to back to increase, although we don't know when it will happen. Correction is already part of the market. It has been there since I learned it the hard way from my first trade back in 2017.
Now for the alternative payment solution,  that'll take time. Especially for Bitcoin, it'll take time for merchants to realize how can it be feasible as an alternative payment solution.
