I am not a fan of auctions. Too many variables.

Hey Thecshare  :)

Well I've seen these on ebay in the average going for 800-900 USD in average. But sometimes also for around 550-600 USD when the seller probably need to sell it fast.

I am not sure how much it goes for here, as the last auction from anonymousminer I've seen was without bids, but if I am correct, the starting bid was also in the range 500-750 USD, something like that...

Sorry for not being more specific, have to run to the meeting  :D

Good luck with your sale!

eBay had a listing for the buy it now price of $525 that was graded at 8.5.
I don't think it sold and seller pulled it.
It's harder for collectors to part with their stacks now, so maybe eBay is the way to go for top USD.

My .00002 bits~

Good luck!

You can check sold listings on eBay The 8.5 went for $525.25 on April 29th.

Another one sold for $590 on the same date that was still in the plastic (same seller as below, but actually showed pics)
Another auction for 5 (brand new in plastic, but no photo) of them went for $2,100 on April 9th (same seller and buyer as the March 28th auction)
Another auction for 6 (brand new in plastic, but no photo) of them went for $2,500 on March 28th (same seller and same buyer, but only had 4 feedback so these two auctions are sketch)

I guess the $525 sale relative to the eBay grabs are making a case for rarity
Still, .05+ BTC seems pretty rich here given the market
Raffle could be an option if the entry fee were right???

They are undeniably valuable and should increase in value with the price of BTC, but they aren’t exactly rare. There are a lot available. With that being said, I’d hold off until they become harder to find.

I did message the eBay seller for a recent pic with a recent block number and they provided one so they are likely legit.

Which ebay seller?
Do you have a link to the listing?

Sent details in PM

As others have stated, I've seen quite a few sell on ebay but the prices range quite a bit.  I can say I've seen the price of these drop a decent bit in the past few months.  Like so many collectibles, the prices seem to be almost cyclical at times.  I would recommend checking out Worth Point as well, this could give you a good idea of how many have sold of late and what prices they are going for ( if you have access that is ).
