Title: does anyone familiar with this crypto poker platform?
Post by: agentF on May 06, 2020, 07:44:00 PM
So im making a research regarding different  poker platforms.

EDIT: let me explain my research.

SWC poker is running even bet gaming which are taking 5% rev share per month
7XL.com is running playtech which is taking 12% per month and almost 70K euro set up fee.
Micro-gaming has a platform by the setup fee is way too expensive.

Im not trying to advertise anything, simply want to know the game provider name.

This is my first time to see that website. Upon visiting the platform it looks so catchy, I like the theme color makes me remind of the platform that I'm playing. They are fronting their cross platform application, I don't think it is new  because we have hundred of the same gambling platfrom, I just haven't played in crossed platform yet but it looks interesting. You might want to give it a try in a small amount so you can provide us info about it, can you ?

That's a platform that's just made last month. I'll advise you if you want to play poker, go with a legit poker site that's been operating for so long.

So im making a research regarding different  poker platforms.

I come across with this web site http://pokerstraddle.com/ does anyone know who is the platform provider?

Thank you.

Where did you learn this site? The appearance and layout are good but we can judge it by only looking at their cover.

Their social media pages link is not working; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube

I head to the Playstore to check the ratings and some reviews but the download link to their .apk version is a direct link. The app isn't listed in the Playstore.

Looks like you need to list this site as pending on your on-going research and proceed with the others.

This is also a question on my mind too on how the hell he do able to find out that site even trying to search up on google does only give out few result which ive been thinking that he do just trying to shill out this
poker app.

As mentioned above ^ it do give out direct link and it isnt avail yet on playstore and that one alone is already a flag and still cant be trusted. In talks of poker platforms or sites then it would make use of this one instead which had been known already https://swcpoker.eu/

You said, "making a research"? Have you learned that site?
If you want to make research on several poker platforms, I suggest choosing trusted or popular poker platforms only. Don't take risks your research by learning untrusted poker sites. Anyway, what is your goal to make that research?

its highly likely one of those classic "I stumbled upon this site can you visit it and tell me what it is" advertisement.

It seems that OP os just shilling this website and it is sketchy. There are a lot of other poker platforms that are trusted, so I am really skeptical trying a new one. Why risk trying a new site if there are already reputable site where that are guaranteed safe.

its highly likely one of those classic "I stumbled upon this site can you visit it and tell me what it is" advertisement.
In that case, OP might believe that he can fool out anyone on here by indirectly shilling out this place without even thinking that we are already done with this kind of tactics.
There are several poker platforms or sites that had been used for a while now by crypto users and that would be more worth to try than to risk up some funds to deposit
into this new platforms.

No feedbacks, No history and download file is still questionable. So i would automatically pass on this one.

Likely a form of shilling since if that site is currently in OP's research, OP should have some bit info about it.

Part of doing research is to find the site origin. Reviews from the community are to follow.

So what info do you currently have in the meantime about this site OP? Can you share your initial findings?

I agree, I think he is promoting his own site here or at least is somehow involved in the site. Anyone with low Google-skills will immediately find out that the site hasn't been around for long and therefore very little information about the platform is available.
Should this not be the case, it would be interesting to know what information he expects from us:
- Player reports
- Economic information (where is the site operated, ...)
- Assessments, whether to use the site
- ...

If OP wants to advertise it he would have replied to the similar thread which we have seen in the gambling section not so long ago that's also about practicing to play on poker platform.

But it's true this is a very new platform, you don't have to play there since there are more out there that's been in the business for years.

Anyone can join, we play good tournaments, you can see some members on their cash game tables, there are several topics about our games, where we discuss other things like new ideas for tournaments, creating charity tournaments, helping forum members in need. A lot of things happening, so try to stop by and check more about it! We are waiting for you! :)

Lets look a bit deeper on his post history as summarized below:
- January 2020: He created a thread, asking for idea of a name for a gambling site. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5215336.0)
- April 2020: He created a thread looking for telegram marketing and inviting service for business (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5241483.0) and it should be related to gambling/crypto.
- Today he create this thread about a brand new poker platform.

It can be just a coincidence but looks like his own project that planned since months ago. So if it is true, better for OP to clarify whether the mentioned poker platform is his own project or not.

He showed me this platform and asked me to find the software provider. I have no intention to advertise anything as this platform is empty of players

Yes, like i explained, my client has a poker platform running by even bet gaming, the same platform that SWC poker has - if you don't believe me, i can send you in a private message my client's platform.

However, he is paying a lot of GGR Rev Share per month to the software provider. He found out that other platforms paying less and they lack of featurs. One of his competitors is a bout to launch  pokerstraddle com, and explained me that they are paying less GGR Rev Share per month and asked me to find the provider.

I have not intention to advertise here anything.

Pleas do not reply here if you have zero knowledge in gambling.

Each poker platform is paying rev share per month to their provider.
My client is paying a big % per month, i can even send you his poker website which is completely different from pokerstraddle.
One of his competitors is about to launch this platform, i simply wanted to know who is the software provider to understand how much rev share are they paying each month and what features they have or not have.

This is also a question on my mind too on how the hell he do able to find out that site even trying to search up on google does only give out few result which ive been thinking that he do just trying to shill out this
poker app.
OP has answered it already. It's their competitors platform and just to give you a relief op, nobody actually knows a website that's just launched here. And as for everybody's concern, we won't gamble to a platform that's built recently.

We always make sure that the platform we use is recommended and trustworthy. That's why as much as we can, we're trying to avoid the newer ones so you don't have to worry about the competition.

Never heard about this poker site before but upon checking the site for a while, it looks so great for a new site. Is it a crypto poker site or a fiat based poker site? Tried to sign up but there are too many personal information required to register. So I guess it is a fiat based crypto site. If it is indeed a fiat poker site only then we should stop talking about it since we are in bitcoin/crypto forum.
