I don't know what's going on in the market? This whole Bitcoin Pump feels unreal when we are at a Global Panademic? What is the reason for this Pump and we have Youtubers who are asking people to buy at this price and we are going to the moon? Is this an ethical practice, I am seeing a lot of new people who are entering the market (In Twitter and Youtube). I think a lot of newbies will invest their stimulus check in Bitcoin.

What do you guys think, how will Bitcoin's price react to COVID19? Does the Price Surge justify the current world economy? What is your Bitcoin Price Prediction for the year end and which alts do you guys think will shine in 2020?

Actually BTC Halving is nearing us that's the reason you are experience this pump even in this tough situation, also there are lot of FUDs these days especially in social media stay away from them do not trust blindly on anyone.

The real test begins only after the Halving only then we have to see the market price, just be patient and wait for few more days if you want to invest you can go ahead but please ensure that you invest on a right coin I mean if you want to go with altcoins.

That's true there will be a drop caused by we have not yet even seen the correction after a huge pump caused by the bitcoin halving but this may come anytime.

I guess if he was also looking for it but it has no a lot of portion on his portfolios. Im also dividing my money to get some altcoins as my bet.

Even there is a pandemic going all over the place. People are skeptical what would be the results of this bitcoin halving. There are few more days left and some of the investors are trying to bag some coins expecting for a huge pump.  I think not just them but everybody in the crypto space are awaiting for this event and believe this will be a way for the market to recover.

Huge retracement is not visible for now as the hype seems stronger than those who are worried about dumping. Altcoin just follow the foot step of bitcoin so whether bitcoin rise, some of these altcoins will also jump to high price cause every coin out there is connected with bitcoin, only stablecoins will remain as it is.

I think you should be thankful of what you see in the market right now because it's pumping and it means you get huge money.

From my point of view, the actual pandemic does not affect the overall cryptocurrency market, especially on bitcoin. Bitcoin experienced a great decline when the pandemic was announced, but it happened because a lot of people were panicking and a lot of fud was made by people so that bitcoin fell more so they could buy in the framework of bitcoin going halving.

Now it is proven that bitcoin is getting stronger and is not affected even though the pandemic is still ongoing and is getting worse. Hoping this pandemic will end soon because if it continues, all wealth means nothing.

Since many people lost their hope on stock market might be moving to crypto currencies which can be one of the reason for the price surge even when the whole world is facing economic issue but the real reason is the halving which is going to happen in the next few days is affecting the market price in the positive direction, there will be a correction after this price surge so don't invest your money now if you want profits in short term.

Bitcoin can rise at any season.

Don't make the opinion of those YouTubers as your basis for buying. Because if it tends to be a wrong decision, you will blame them for that decision. The price surge can be an effect of many things.

Seem you aren't often to see the movement price of bitcoin and altcoin during this pandemic. You only see the movement price when the pandemic came right? Just see now dude and you will be interesting. Bitcoin price is increasing right now and its price is close to $10.000, what that this mean? Aren't we in pandemic situation? Yes we are, but bitcoin is showing that this pandemic is nothing to do to bitcoin price movement even it can be made as a store of value.

Well, it shows already that there's a little effect of the pandemic that causes the market to submerge for a little but the market did back up again. So it just means that Bitcoin is surviving despite with what's the situation we are in and with the upcoming halving I'm sure people are expecting something from it but don't get too drive by the positive effect that you see today because this is not the real thing how the price move after Bitcoin halving. Just play it safe as long as you may and wait for the right time to get what you want.

The influence will indeed still be there but with the increase that occurs at least the effect is happening more in a positive direction despite the previous market collapse, but this is all like normal conditions ahead of halving bitcoin because we also cannot be certain with certainty whether the crypto market has a strong connection to problems that occur in the world about the Covid-19 pandemic or not. But whatever happens I think we really have to be careful, there is no harm in those who buy for long-term investment because after all this market will get the season back but still, it all does not guarantee this year we will get a bullish trend because it will still take longer like the crypto season that has happened before.

I am bullish for Bitcoin as of the moment because the halving seems to have created a nice hype around the community. There seems to be a very positive vibe on the upcoming halving which should have caused people to stock on Bitcoin. It is also a perfect timing that fiat is now being printed without limit.

 yeah its strange , your not alone with that questions    . i think these were only a trap  so im not investing all my money for now   . however those people that ecourage to buy btc  is normal and not really an ethical practice    . these people are only helping btc and also helping thier selves to earn because they also invest on btc   .  covid 19 has both negative and positive effects on price of btc and alts  but as usual those top coins are i think the ones that will shine the most   .

Crypto does not mind the covid-19, while the stocks are down, this upcoming halving gives a lot of reason for the investors to put their money on bitcoin, and we are seeing the effect now, it seems like bitcoin is now ready for a bull run, hopefully this is not just a bull trap like we have been seeing in the past, this time we have some good reason to witness a bull run, and crypto is attractive to the eyes of some investors who failed in stocks.

Bitcoin is still remain stable and altcoin too. There's no need to feel worry about this pandemic anymore and crypto is winning the battle against covid. I think people must forget the impact that caused by the pandemic. We will face a new era that will come very soon. Crypto is really strong right now.

what is clear with this pandemic is that I agree with you that the economy is very difficult because a lot has to be lost with work. not yet the state must disburse existing bailouts to not only overcome the pandemic but also the impact of the pandemic. such as preparing the basic necessities of life for those who cannot work anymore with the Lock Down situation.

I am not sure what's the reason of the pump but I like to guess that this is due to the upcoming halving.
There's no major news in the market right now except for this upcoming halving that will happen in less than a week, so as expect the price of bitcoin was bullish.

For altcoins, I can't expect big pump right now, we need to see bitcoin to rise even more, maybe when bitcoin reaches $15K, that would be good enough to drive the whole market into a bullish market, eventually an altcoins season will come back.

Definitely COVID19 effect on all global market prices, including BTC&altcoin prices. But as we can see volume is pretty high now, so from other side all last events can bring more users, mass adoption and push the prices higher.

indeed there is a decline in the overall global market. almost all countries and economic sectors have decreased due to this virus. but seeing what happens to the crypto market seems to be stronger. it might also be because of the support of halving bitcoin but maybe there will be a better moment for this market to grow bigger.

Certainly very influential in my opinion because I see the movement of the crypto market is quite slow at the time of this pandemic, although halving has occurred but there is no significant increase or high spike, therefore I will return to normal after crypto.

Bitcoin reached $10k before halving and after halving bitcoin decreased to $8500 which made altcoin red again. I don't think halving this time has the big effect we hoped for and it has nothing to do with the pandemic.

First of all, There are so much pressure in old investors mind. So they trying to keep it move forward. So many people gets confused about what to do or not to because of those youtubers. 
The real thing is now,  every national economy gets slow down. Not just bitcoin or this platform.  Stock market is not that good. People try to keep money in hand And they need more money. So they invest in many sectors to get some return in back. Problem is some people gets stuck in the Progress,  and  some didn’t did it.

So, im hoping it will be all right when this pandemic is over, bitcoin is stable i think right now.

a direct relationship to bitcoin, of course, I agree with the opinion above, that there is no direct correlation that the pandemic affects bitcoin. still, bitcoin can move normally, can go up even almost through $ 10K and soon it goes back down below $ 8K, so altcoin is all affected by bitcoin going down. a pandemic that clearly affects the world economy because of the large use of state funds that must be allocated to pandemic prevention.

Yeah its seems unreal since only the beginning of outbreak the Bitcoin drop slowly but immediately recover and manage to pump even more. I guess it because the halving event is affects more than the pandemic in crypto world. Everyone are being hype and monitor to the movement of bitcoin price. People seems not withdrawing their investment to bitcoin and more people want to invest right now. Bitcoin pump will not immediately happen but it will near soon which most people will not know.

The truth is no one knows and it could go either way, let me explain, the price of bitcoin could go down because as you say we are going to face very difficult economic circumstances during the next months and years and as people get scared because of it they could decide to get their money out of a speculative asset like bitcoin.

However it is entirely possible as well that the price goes up as governments keep printing more and more currency in order to solve their problems and people finally realize that holding fiat currencies does not make sense, and they decide instead to support a form of money that cannot be printed at will and that has no direct relationship to any government around the world.

It seems BTC has survived from corona, and more than that it is really good news for us. But if we are talking about altcoins, we can not the same about altcoins like BTC. Altcoins prices are still down and it keeps getting down. No doubt we should wait for more for the price increasing. If BTC started growing up, altcoins follow it. However, BTC is just around 10k.

Corona sentiments doesnt really precisely correlate with bitcoins price or the entire crypto market even though other traditional markets had heavily affected but here on crypto we are somehow surviving the wave.In talks about bitcoin and alt coin price then im not saying that its always correlated because alt price can go opposite even bitcoin is rallying up but most of the time when market
turns out to be bullish it did really come to that point where alts are mostly dragged up.

Theres no such word as safehaven even though we are making out profits or stood strong with BTC but doesnt mean that it will give out assurance on long term aspect.This is why we should always take measures in any case that might happen but for now its too early to worry that it would crash.

Pandemic COVID-19 makes the price of crypto stronger in my opinion, because transactions with crypto can prevent us from contracting

In my opinion there is at least some influence, but in a pandemic situation I don't see a very large decline, maybe at first it was just a temporary panic but until now the pandemic still continues, but the altcoin market has almost all shown increasing value, maybe in this pandemic most of it their countries, including mine, impose lockouts so they cannot do their jobs so they try to trade in the crypto market.

Here on my country where the quarantine thing had already been lifted up, i dont know if this is happening on other countries but if its still on lockdown then we can really find out things that we can make money here on crypto but in most cases just like here on my place where people do find out freelance jobs or even selling out good online for them to survive.

Yeah it can give out exposure to crypto but only to those people who do had internet connection in their house and the rest then theyll be sticking out on traditional businesses amidst on this pandemic situation.

I think it's not. the movement of crypto was really fast, it's considering ethereum needs a short time to recover its price to be doubled again. Bitcoin is also getting very fast recovery caused by the pandemic brings more adopters from a lot of sectors. It looks like a lot of positive impacts has been getting by crypto.

pump of crypto-market during Corona pandemic. What we had here during that
days is good enough to push crypto-market while entire global economy was frozen.
   I believe in positive sides of this pandemic for us involved in crypto-currencies.

I think Covid-19 is an opportunity for people to think about their investment options, and if they bought it at a cheap price a few months ago, they should consider holding more because the market is still very potent. I am sure the investment demand after Covid-19 will increase very high, and people will easily earn a profit. true, that even though there was a pandemic at first the disturbance was seen but it was not significant. bitcoin can still move well and if it does not fall down to fall once. bitcoin moves between $ 8K- $ 9K and is still safe. even bitcoin ever penetrated $ 10K but went back down. if bitcoin increases then it can be ascertained that all altcoins, especially the top rank in cmc will be raised as well.

The entire crypto market fluctuates all the time, I don't think we had some special fluctuations during the pandemic. That's a normal thing, get used to it! If we look from a positive side this pandemic and lockdown of the global economy can turn many to cryptocurrencies, as a better means of exchange and if that happens it would be a good start for future mass adoption, and only that can affect bitcoin and altcoins to skyrocket!

Nope,this Pandemic starts last year of december yet we had a good start this year,but when the spread happens thats when the price of bitcoin falls low.

My point of view considering the recent hype of bitcoin is that there is huge uncertainty in the world right now and people trying to save their money by investing in things that won't loose their value( gold , platinum , crypto's) because of the financial crisis that landed on every Country in the past 3 months.

 

Indeed people are just afraid of losing their money, no doubt they are looking for any way to save their own money. That is why we can just see a lot of new members, most of them see crypto-world away as saving their money. But it is no exaggeration to say that, it is really the best way to use this world. no highly but BTC has survived from corona, we are waiting just for price increasing, BTC is around 10k and it will be better till the end of the month, or maybe it can take a bit long time. No doubt if BTC starts pump, the altcoin will follow it.

We know that Corona Virus has very effected for all over the World. It has effected both, online and offline business. All type business and work has stopped for this Virus. And also It's effected on Crypto Currency Market.   

The effectiveness of crypto assets paid when Corona hits the entire world, online market who accepts crypto indeed perform well and from that point of views there are people who consider this industry asa good venue for investment, diverting their assets to this market and use spare or save money in return of good value afterwards.

I think that old altcoins will never return to their previous ATH. they have already become too unnecessary and there are already a lot of new more interesting projects on the market that will take the place of old projects during the bullish growth of bitcoin

COVID-19 led to all sectors of the economy deteriorated they normally rely on their work at this time they can not work as usual, and they must think to earn money online in a way they must have been looking for information about bitcoin on the internet and they want to invest in bitcoin it makes bitcoin slowly rise. I think for altcoin ethereum always better for the long-term investment.

Also IMO the reason bitcoin is still up there is because people are feeling that digital currency has come to stay. People are investing in bitcoin lately more than it was the case earlier. The fear of losing money by investors is beginning to go away and so, little monies are reserved for btc investment. Halving also is contributing to this as it has gradually limited the availability of bitcoin technically.

When we say people that means a lot of people, I think major holders of bitcoins are whales, we haven't achieved a good adoption rate yet, so the price can easily be manipulated in case the whales will do it. As you can see, bitcoin is quite stable but any time it could significantly move, either it will pump or dump, so we have to be always ready for that.

I am just happy to see that majority of investors are wrong because bitcoin did not follow the expectation since it rises even if there's an economic crisis.

People now are already into online jobs that can give them sources of income and crypto trading is one of them. In the future, this market will be a place to attract many new investors, and you should consider investing if possible. ETH will lead the way in altcoins and some other coins would also be the good pick at this point of time. The latest one is the pandemic, now btc price rise also assume is as a result of the pandemic, I don't think that's the case here, because this period of crisis left many people confused and in panic, I doubt many people where thinking about buying of btc of trading, anyways, this is my own opinion, but whatever the case, btc price will increase whenever, it doesn't need any news or crisis for that.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the crypto market is not the only thing that is unstable. Everything in the whole world including the economy of world is just unstable and as you know there is a huge impact on the world by the pandemic. l hope after solving this problem we will see cryptocurrency to shine, but exactly it is just far.

Bitcoin is still seen as a highly speculative asset. Alts, more so. This meant that when the pandemic hit, people started to move their money to safer places. This caused crypto to be hit hard. However the crypto markets did then show some good resilience by bouncing back quite quickly. The pump is just that - partial recovery from a steep drop. Prices are still slightly below where they were when CV19 hit.

What about those who did not come to Buy last march?meaning this is not good investment opportunity for them?i doubt it mate because looking at the market movement now the Value of Bitcoin and other altcoins are still competing to at least break $10,000 and stays in those Level for the whole 3rd quarter and if we managed to adopt this then we will be having a Best 4th quarter of our life this 2020.

There are many speculation that we can Hit and stay at 5 digits this year but since the effect of pandemic is still here,we are long time in a waiting for this to happen.

You are right about that most people focus on BTC and wait for the movement of BTC. l think BTC investing is securer than altcoins investing, however as you said if BTC doesn't grow, that means altcoins will not increase either. Altcoins price depends on BTC movement. l hope BTC starts increasing as soon as possible. Maybe after that we can see that altcoins start also rising up, it seems we should still wait for this time. But till this time it can be better to collect some coins, which can be valuable in the future.

I think now some countries have started to make policies to improve their economy. This pandemic is not over yet, but I don't think we can continue to go down like now. the economy will weaken if we don't open our economy again.

These two facts combined means that halving was already priced in well in advance of when it actually occurred.

Yes, we have seen bitcoin and alts all hit hard due to the initial economic shock of Covid-19... but this doesn't change the fact that halving was already priced in. We may see prices increases as economies come out of lockdown - but any increase in bitcoin price will be because of this, rather than halving.

When ICO became an important part in the development of crypto, everyone was involved and made huge profits with their investments. however, after ICO gained bad trust with many scam projects the trust in Crypto declined. During this pandemic many people returned to making projects like ICO and I saw investor confidence increase. I think other crypto users will also increase the volume of trading the better and this is good news. we will find new investors with better knowledge.

I don't know. Most (all?) economies have been struggling and the last few months have not generally been a great time to get new projects off the ground. Whilst I do think that crypto prices will increase, I think this will be due to rising confidence in bitcoin as the endless money-printing highlights some of the deficiencies of fiat.

  I would expect the price of bitcoin to not rise as high as people expected. The economy is now on the verge of crisis and if the US stock markets and major countries around the world collapse, so will bitcoin. then people will hoard fiat money to reinvest at a more appropriate time. You see that's the thing even if majority of the world was on lockdown why are there still crypto projects being launch in this times of pandemic? Like how will there projects progress if the whole world is moving slow? How will they fulfill their roadmap if everything involve in it is affected? For me these crypto projects that pops out in these times are all just trying to milk their investors for money because they themselves are affected financially. If they don't have a solid roadmap or plan for their crypto then I think it's time to say that these new crypto projects aren't worth your money at all.

Crypto as such as not taken that hit which stock markets have gone through as it has fallen badly due to pandemic situation across the globe. Also , people would have moved their investment for the falling stock market to crypto and this would have given the push and also helped crypto to not fall much or to recover from the fallen price.

True, crypto is quite stable despite of the pandemic that cause an economic collapse to some countries.
Bitcoin is still surviving, at the current price now which is $9K, this is quite a good price compared to the price it dump earlier this year.

I think bitcoin will not anymore dropped this year and my best guess is that it will stay at least $10k by the end of the year.
But of course, no effect positively for altcoins.

The stock prices will get a big impact from the Covid-19, but the crypto is not getting too big, although the price for all coins already drops. And now, the stock is trying to rise again, while the crypto still on the way to increase. And that will depend on how good bitcoin moves. If bitcoin can increase higher, the altcoin will follow to grow, and the stock still tries to increase too.

I don't think that's the reason why a market activity is increasing. bitcoin is increasing slowly, I guess it's only natural. even after halving which coincided with this pandemic, bitcoin could only stand still with little movement. Correlating crypto market on current worldwide condition cant really be avoided but doesnt mean that it do dictates out on what do happen with Bitcoins price. We have seen that its almost no effect even if we are
