I was watching the latest show of Legends of Tomorrow when I heard them say let’s invent Bitcoin, and I could not stop smiling because this show has millions of fans all over the world, who’ll now be searching about bitcoins as they’ll want to see what it is and how it’ll help them become rich. It’s pertinent to note that this kind of positive shoutout should make bitcoins more popular, and it should help attract more people to invest in bitcoins in the long run. Lastly what are your thoughts about this shoutout, and what kind of results are you’ll expecting from this shoutout?.

Umm another publicity for btc, but those it really have any positive impact on btc anymore than what it has already achieved? What will this bring to btc and the crypto community! Publicity or adoption! Which is even more important at this moment,
Anyways, it is good to see btc mentioned in such well known movie, I guess it will widen the scope of awareness.

But we can't deny the fact that it is still publicity right? regardless if it's good or bad. And the timing is just about perfect as we are just a couple of days from the most anticipated bitcoin halving. We have seen this kind of media attention or even Hollywood stars joining the bandwagon during its hype and peaked last 2017. This shout-out is good, crypto is slowly sipping in the pop culture and we all know that when people talks about something in the internet, it might give bitcoin another boost.

Netflix producers love to handle the Bitcoin issue. We're used to it now. But they reveal that what matters is social acceptability. These kinds of productions help Bitcoin with this acceptability and we should all be happy.

IMO, public awareness, and acceptability will be the fruit of this as well as more investment may come in the crypto market particularly in Bitcoin. People who aren't yet aware of Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies will start to be curious about what it is all about since it was mention in a series then they may begin to buy or make the investment for they already have the idea that Bitcoin can be the future of exchanges.

For now, we should look forward to more publicity for Bitcoin and what it can bring to us. Just like the Deadpool movie, there's a part of a scene that mentioned "cryptocurrency".

Bitcoin is reaching the awareness of the mainstream population in so many ways now. A mere mention in a famous movie could be enough for some people to get curious about Bitcoin. Others who have already heard of Bitcoin might be interested to know more because of it. This could be the first step for another person to be one of us.

The last time I heard the mention of Bitcoin was when I watched the Netflix series Money Heist. That was music to my ears. Time will come it will become just as common as the word money.

Out of those millions of fans, maybe 0.01% will decide to google about Bitcoin, and only 0.01% of those people will then decide to buy it. And at this point almost any person that uses the Internet or even just watches news on TV is aware of Bitcoin, so such events can't possibly create noticeable spikes of Bitcoin adoption. It's all about reminding people that Bitcoin exists and bringing attention to it. The more exposure Bitcoin gets, the higher the adoption will be in the long run.

a few days ago I also watched a series that spoke very well about bitcoin, I no longer remember the name and episode of the series because I watch many series so it is difficult to remember, but the most important thing is that bitcoin is gradually being dissociated from crime which is very good for mass adoption and for regulators to accept bitcoin


maybe, but the fact that bitcoin starts to be mentioned frequently in series and movies and positively opens the way for it to be viewed positively by regulators and even the most skeptical will look at bitcoin differently

it's always great to hear bitcoin being positively mentioned on popular shows. but I don't expect any significant or even a fraction thing will happen. what I expect is, most of the viewer will just ignore it even if they know what bitcoin is or viewers will just completely forgot or have no recollection of bitcoin ever being mentioned in that show.
