I want to invest some altcoin. My elder brother are suggest to me to invest ADA or XLM. But I am willing to invest in either one. Which of the following would be better to invest in?

XLM may be better choice. XLM has its own platform.  In the meantime, they have been able to bring many success projects to their platform. Hope in 2022-2025 XLM moon time. its growing up day by day regular.

In my opinion, the development roadmap and market potential of XLM are very bright. If it were me, I would buy XLM now. But remember, no investment is 100% safe and every decision is risky. In any case, it is up to you to decide.

Buy both. ATM price is so low you can probably afford 50%/50% or at least 75%/25% ratio.

Now market situation is good for buying altcoin. Since three years we are in bear market, now market slowly up as well as market cap rises. So this time is the best time fo invest altcoin.
You want to which coin do you invest ada or xlm. I think both project is good. You should devide your  portfolio 2 part and invest in ada and xlm.

I will choose XLM, it is better than ADA. XLM has specific plan to become the main currency for send and receiving money oversea in seconds. XLM is really worth for a long term investment.

It is best to buy both altcoins, 70% XLM and 30% ADA will be the best choice. Both of these altcoins are the best altcoins in the market, so you won't have to be afraid to invest in them. It will definitely bring you profit when the bull market starts

I prefer XLM to ADA over and over again. XLM has a very large community spanning various wallet because they target good wallets with large community for airdrop and this has increased the user base of XLM. I started a heavy trade of Stellar after they have me androp. It has good volatility too.

XLM will be better than ADA, but you can also invest in both ADA and XLM as that coin is a low price coin so you can buy it anytime. But if you want to focus on one coin only, then XLM will be a good choice. If you buy both ADA and XLM, maybe the percentage will be 75% for XLM and 25% for ADA or 50:50 for both coins.

In the matter of use case xlm looks one step ahead from ada so this can be the main reason of the growth of xlm in near future anyways if you're little bit confused to chose which one between both of them for investment then you may consider to invest in both of them according to your budget otherwise xlm can be a good choice at this stage.

Both are good coins. XLM is a bit older than ADA and has a working product while ADA is still in development. XML has not received any significant adoption and results and hence I don't expect them to change overnight while ADA could have a larger increase in price as the news of it's platform comes. FYI, ADA is one of the most actively developed crypto.

indeed both have a good platform and they have a very good development but you should know that these two coins have differences which in my opinion will have an important influence in the future and in my opinion the supply of these two has a fairly close distance and not too influential , from this conclusion I would prefer Cardano or ADA for me to have because even though ADA is a new project but he can prove that the platform is developing and can enter the top 20 coin marketcap.

I checked ADA GitHub repositories and indeed it is very active with more than 17k commits, as compare to XML that has 700++. So obviously, if we compare them ADA had a lot of activity behind, and this is a good sign that they are indeed on top of their project and have a very dynamic developers and community.

Cardano has been an active project with many of it's roadmap still to achieve and is on track while Stellar has a vague roadmap for 2020 or you can call itself a dead coin. Though stellar have some unique feature that are impressive, I'd still recommend cardano as it has more potential for growth while that of Stellar has gone stagnant.

Investing in both is definitely the best option, but if you can only invest in one of them. XLM would be a better choice, for me XLM is one of the top 5 altcoins in this market and XLM has more achievements than ADA.

well, I totally agree with what you say because both of them can indeed provide a lot of profit and have a platform that really develops meaning that their project is not only that but there are still other projects that are very useful and profitable that can provide many benefits for those who can hold both of these coins.

ADA is also running on its own platform and what's the difference? AFAIk if ada is also a good platform and it has a better features compared with XLM. I personally try to vote for ADA rather than XLM that owned by jed.

As already advised above, you can buy both coins. A good solution for both diversification and personal interest as an altcoin investor - who will "win" and become more expensive. I believe that their cost will be higher, so buying everything at once will be a good decision.

ADA has not grown for a long time, its price has been going down since 2017 and it left a lot of investors stranded when investing in it. XLM is a lot better than ADA, so you don't need to think. Just buying XLM is enough

This is a really tough one in my own case, because both are my choice and favourite coins, but since you are aiming to invest in just one, then XLM is a better one. The team are one of such that don't only care about their community but also about growth which is one of the reasons the coin keeps maintaining its growth among others. In case you change your mind, ADA is also a good one whose team are very much active.

I suggest you to buy XLM. I believe XLM has very bright potential compared to ADA.
they have their own platform that was developed with various projects in it and you know the popularity of XLM compared to ADA

If we see that both are equally good and good tokens, just if you want one of them, then I personally recommend it in XLM, because the XLM platform has also begun to like many at this time and has experienced mature progress.

These two coins is pretty much the same in terms of technology, in terms of circulating supply XLM has 20 billion and ADA has 25 Billion, but if you look on the long term XLM has a total supply of 50B while ADA has only 31B. If those two reaches its total supply in the market which is more valuable? I guess their TPS is the same If I am not mistaken which is 1000 TPS (Transaction per second). The price is very close too, Either of the two is good.

I like both Stellar XLM and Cardano ADA as projects and i am accumulating both as much as i can so i will suggest to hold both.
Regarding picking one from these two it is a difficult choice because there are many factors involved so you can analyse and select yourself.
Both xlm and ada are at different levels of development and as we all know xlm is much more developed, reputed and already full of use cases so i will rate it as low risk moderate profit potential asset while we know ADA is still being worked on as we talk but we know that the project is serious and already has the trust of the market and team is also good so i will rate it as moderate risk high profit potential asset for mid to long term range.

I would definitely suggest you listen to your brother and invest into both of them. I mean right now we are living in a situation where it is definitely wiser to diversify your money because one thing could always crash for any reason, in that case you would want your money to be diversified in many stuff so that if one thing crashes you will still be safe.

I would even go as further as saying that do not even just pick those two, pick probably at least 10 coins, even 20 coins if you can and put your money in all of them. That way you are putting your income at risk if one goes super high and you would be of course sad that not all your money there, but when you see one of them crash and be worthless, you will realize its awesome that you weren't all in on that.

I think Stellar (XLM) is better then ADA. I don't have any idea to ADA. But many days I will resource XLM. Many project are active under XLM. Moreover I say XLM are best choice for biggest trader.

Cardano definetely. What brings Stellar new to the crypto market? It is a fork of Ripple and claims to be more decentralized. But Cardano offers much more, such complex solution is not commonly seen around cryptocurrencies, it is developed by real scientists, so I believe that they will achieve the goals.

In my opinion ADA is a better option knowing the fact they offer a stake system for the users who want to hold their coins . But you can buy 50 percent XLM and 50 percent ADA . I think is the best deal

If you are watching the market properly and the MCAP of ada and XLM is almost the same at this moment. That has already proven if both are very worth to invest right now. It's better to diversification our portfolios into both ADA and XLM rather than feel confused which one that we must choose it.

If you ask me for suggestions, I like both. Because both are good projects and they are doing regular development. You can invest in these projects. And when it comes to investing, you should never invest all your fund in a project. Divide your fund and invest in two or more coins. Because if your one coin fails, the other coins will recover your losses. Therefore, it is not right to invest all the funds in one coin. Now the altcoin market is seeing good changes.

I wouldn't have suggest you anyone along the list because of my previous experience with the two coins in question. Sometime last year, I made an investment xlm but wasn't able to make some good profits from the investment due to their fake volumes, although this can also be attributed to the exchange I used. ADA is somehow good for the market but won't suggest either because of their project upgrade. Nevertheless, I will advise you to face some real truth, bitcoin investment now will be great for your in the future, so, make your case and invest on Bitcoin.

Yes it is true that cryptocurrencies are volatile and unpredictable but yet over time there have been some altcoins which tend to show that they have something to offer to all and sundry, and most of these altcoins are found in top 20 or maybe top 50 in coinmarketcap and one of such altcoins are XLM and ADA. These altcoins are good in their own ways and makes sense holding them as well, however, as you desire one then I would say go for ADA; the reason is, the team of this project have been working hard to make sure they stick to their goals and objectives, this I see as something very important as there is potential for growth.

Diversify your investment portfolio. Never put all your money in something. So invest in ADA and XLM, these are two good projects in the market and they will surely thrive in the future.

With ADA and XLM, you can be sure that they are strong cryptocurrencies and their marketcap is large. Both are good investments.
With cryptocurrencies, it's always a risk, but at least giants have a better chance of success. It's up to you, but from my point of view I would invest in XLM.

your brother has a good taste when it comes to coin choice but at the end you still ended up choosing one of them   . 

i am more familiar with xlm which is stellar lumens although i have heard ada before and i can say that the coin isnt really that bad  .   how much will be your budget boy  ?  what if you grab both of them or allocate more on xlm and the rest goes to ada   .   this picking does  not need to be hard because both coins are good 

I agree with the idea of buying both coins.
But you should definitely study them in more detail. Their technology, philosophy, plans for the future, a community of fans.

You can always sell or exchange coins in the future  ;)

If you are willing to invest for a long term holding, you may go with XLM, they have really a good future and they already proofed themselves many time. ADA also good to invest. As your are stuck for choosing one from them, you can study deep about both of them, maybe it will help you to choose better one for you.

Of course XLM you can invest right now but absolutely it will be longer term then you can do something. Even ADA not bad man so two coins are properly best choice. Therefore, check support everyone then you can got right direction.

XLM is my pick here, infact it's one of my long term bags. XLM because some cool projects keep building on stellar blockchain, and with the help of awesome developers like LOBSTR, their wallets are unique even with exchange functions. XLM has been performing excellently since I bagged it for very long term hold, and I don't regret my decision so far.

Both projects are very good and have equally chance of going good in future but right now XLM team is more competitive and they are doing some hard work for their project so just because of this investors love this project and want to invest for better profit in future so if you can afford then surely try to invest in XLM.

No doubt, XLM is best than ADA. Actually ADA is good but if you want to best use your money, they ADA is fot you. ADA has their platform, has a good roadmap. No doubt, ADA is a secure investment for future

Both of them are good coin and have a good potential. You can invest in 50/50. But i will give priority to XLM rather than ADA. Now choice is yours.

The owners are probably taking part in it. Honestly ADA is very simple coim coin which I have research properly and saw a good potential in it. I will just encourage the team to do more than enough . 

Many suggested in which coin to invest if ada or xlm, whether you invest in xlm or ada there is always a risks in investing in crypto. So always check which coin has a bright future and has a good community. In my view to these, I actually have these coins both and I always monitor the progress of this project.

I am not surprise that most of people choose XLM over ADA. Both are promising project and both have huge market cap (both are around 1.3B). But if i want to choose one of them for investment i'll also choose XLM. Cause firstly it's older coin than ADA, their transaction speed is really amazing than other crypto platform, they have their own platform and it's price better than ADA at this moment (although XLM total supply more than ADA).

Why don't you reallocate the amount of money invested and invested in both projects? These are 2 good altcoins in this market and if you miss them, surely you willregret it in the future

I think both of these projects have the potential to give you benefits for the future, but I prefer ADA over XLM,
because ADA is still very low in price for good coins, ROI is still 143%, I think there will be more to it if Altcoin Season comes

Investing in both projects is fine, but if you are only allowed to choose one of them, then XLM will be preferred. This project has more updates and has a bigger community. In addition, XLM also has more hype than ADA when its price has been pumped many times over the years
