Title: Bitcasino.io won't let me cashout my winnings
Post by: transman69 on May 12, 2020, 09:37:05 PM
What happened::
I deposited around $1.5k or so, betted on live blackjack, hit a blackjack and won €3k. After that I tried to cashout, of course.. they didn't let me, told me to e-mail the security, so I did that, I provided my ID, after I done that they stopped responding for a while, so I had to make a post there, after I made it I was contacted, told them my username on that casino and recieved an email saying:

Thank you for sending in the documents that are required for KYC procedure.

I have seen a quite a number of issues regarding Bitcasino (most got solved in the most reasonable approach in the end), this is the first time I'm seeing anything related to them claiming a "Double Spend", so you should please shed a bit more light into your deposit method or approach which they are question (perhaps a txid), was it initially sent with a low fee and later bumped ?

Please as well note that, I'm not coming into Bitcasino's defense here, this is just to get better understanding of what happened and what the community would decide to be the best approach about the situation.

Yes, it was sent with a very low fee, as your balance shows up instantly, so no point in paying $3 or more for fees.
But the fee wasnt bumped, it stayed the same. I don't think it can be bumped anyway?? Not sure, got into Bitcoins only few months ago.

I mean, I thought that it was a legit site, because my friend always gambles there so why are they not letting people cash-out?

Do you mind posting your deposit Transaction ID ? And yes, it makes absolutely no sense paying excessively since they allow zero confirmation for your balance to be updated, that was their own undoing, even though it is a good gesture to provide their users with a better gambling experience, scammer as expected will always try to abuse it.

I mean, I thought that it was a legit site, because my friend always gambles there so why are they not letting people cash-out?

They are a reputable casino here in the forum, and if your deposit/winnings is fair and square, there is no reason for not paying you. Playing the victim card won't help, Let's focus on proving that you didn't attempt a "Double Spend", If such fact can be established, they have a reputation to protect that is worth more than $3,000

If you are very sure you never carried out any double spend attack, then they should be able to provide proof that made them believe that you were trying to double spend for the sake of clarity and transparency.

Maybe i don't know how bitcasino.io operate but I still don't understand why they first asked for KYC, then came up with a double spend reason  :(

Harkorede, you are exactly right.

Which is why this story makes no sense; and there's no chance that Bitcasino.io is scamming him out of $3,000..

This company is backed by millions and pays out fair and square.

Hello,

I asked our fraud prevention team if there’s a possibility to show the user’s intentions by providing some data.
Here is their answer with relevant blockchain transactions and addresses.

The deposit transaction confirmed on the users winning account 122d84e9a2b8f9707fdc7ea687cf27582bd834387b1549c810bbe97cf1458b45
to the deposit address 3A6Pet4CfspjwTYKKEieu8hjDSJBSKqt2v.

This user has been found to have used this method to attempt defrauding Bitcasino in the past on other registered accounts but we are unfortunately
unable to disclose other methodology used for fraud prevention publically.

Bitcasino offers our players zero confirmation deposits and gameplay so as to provide a fast fun and fair experience and we are confident in our fraud prevention
systems to discourage and prevent bad actors from abusing this feature so that we continue to provide for our valued players.

I can say I like this kind of system, I am not a regular player of your site but I have been betting on sportsbet.io and this is the feature that I like the most, no confirmation needed and have to play.. maybe this is the reason why other websites requires confirmation first because there are people who can take advantage to this, but it seems like you have a good internal control, so it will minimize the risk.

OP's last activity shows that he was out after posting his last reply. But looking how convincing Bitcasino replied I'm wondering how the OP will be able to explain this if he is really innocent of double spending. Probably it is one of the reasons of sending the payment with low fees that messed up the transaction.

It may be convenient on your part but if the OP is really innocent here and the system of 0 confirmations messed his transaction up you wouldn't really want that to happen with you as well so If I were you I won't say having 0 confirmation is some kind of advantage.

Sorry I don't get you, OP is cheating as per reply by bitcoin.io rep.. Actually, I see the disadvantage on my part or anyone who uses the site with the system as long as they are not cheating, the disadvantage I've mentioned is on the part of the gambling site but since they have a good internal control it has not become their disadvantage.

sportsbet.io and this casino offers the same system, instant deposit.. and if I'm not mistaken, Bitcasino.io also allows withdrawal free of charge like sportsbet?

I don't understand, both of those transactions are different.
And why would I try to defraud Bitcasino again if I HAD tried it before? That'd be just plain stupid from my side, woudln't it?

I became skeptical that you didn't post the TX ID.

It took me a while to figure out what @Karl from Bitcasino was saying and I initially assumed those two transactions aren't related but they really share outputs and similarities with the double spent transaction.

1. Here is the image containing the Double Spent TX (https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/33ecc307458b6bb7679de2393cfff5c35ec86d5f191870f8db7ad1dfc686f416) from 3KYWYDUgwfru42remWdxXbsnL2CvThFF7w to Bitcasino's 3N4zB5kF5YrHJJPUT1dvXhSmyZXbtq3diD

https://i.imgur.com/zwYdn2V.png

2. Meanwhile the coins in the TX above was literally spent here  (https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/a84fd7dd00dc28fb56759806bbc984712eee3b04e663b98e71f83e5a28979963) from 3KYWYDUgwfru42remWdxXbsnL2CvThFF7w to 163LxLwRvMtDboEjuWpZ8wzwCnux9jNJbV

3. The address 163LxLwRvMtDboEjuWpZ8wzwCnux9jNJbV is combined in an output (which means they belong to the same HD Wallet) with several other addresses in this Transaction (https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/4c66bed535e82cdda4d18e4d00d901b8ca8dfb52820aeb7590a9ff4d7fc0aa2f) to send the coins here 3EhZHqfT71ug3JXqr8sTTn3PaUsLa7rN7U which was then sent (https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/122d84e9a2b8f9707fdc7ea687cf27582bd834387b1549c810bbe97cf1458b45) to your Bitcasino's deposit address: 3A6Pet4CfspjwTYKKEieu8hjDSJBSKqt2v with even an exact fee as the same in the first 1 transaction that was double spent.
