do we have wordpress experts here? I have a multi-lingual website (including Woocommerce and WPML) and I need to automate the whole translation procedure. At the moment, I need to edit each and every content piece and add all the new translations manually - that sucks big time and there must be a way to automate things. Please hit me up if you have ideas on how I could automate the process - I think talking about it is easier than writing everything down here. Thank you! Polylang translates posts categories and taxonomies. Locotranslate translates words that are parts from the template like, the button search and the button share. I usually use Translatepress for my clients because its lighter and also when you translate one page, every page with the same word translates too. Works well for menus, footers etc where words are repeated. Not sure about the auto export / import part though. Manually implementing dozens of translations has really become a pain and there must be a better way? I am not referring to theme translations etc. but to main content - product descriptions etc. Thank you very much in advance. It does the job you are looking for if you are looking to translate product description and the main content. You can check this link - https://translatepress.com/automatically-translate-woocommerce/#:~:text=To%20do%20that%2C%20go%20to,automatically%20translate%20your%20store's%20content. It is available for free and premium. Try first the free one as it comes with the automatic version too. |
