You cannot ask reasons for a crypto's bump (nor for dump as well) but you need to get practiced to it as this is time for most cryptos to test new ATHes including bitcoins. Electroneum could be another crypto with real world application hence it might have got attention from a crypto whale. People (whales) may start focusing on altcoins besides bitcoins for diversification reasons. So, along with bitcoins we can expect such pumps of altcoins to happen in more number in coming days.

Thanks to recent bitcoin halving, we are going to experience such bumps in altcoin markets which must be the usual signal for crypto adopters to assume about the end of bear markets. Yes, along with bitcoin halving, altcoin markets might have bottomed out.

I've been following Electroneum for few years . He had 3 big spikes when it launched from November 2017 to February 2018 . After this ETN dropped massively . I hope ETN will be back in top30 cryptocurrencies and a better price than $1

I remember when Etn was in its ico stages and even after that it had massive expectations from day one and hype around this project was soaring and its price did surge after listing and reached to around .15 to .20 per etn which was around 20x gain considering the price in ico but later as the hype and expectations dropped the price kept coming down for almost 2 years but now it is nice to see good recovery and i am happy that atleast now it is over the ico price so that long term hodlers can exit at break even now if they need money.

Interesting, huge pump after they announced that they will stop mobile mining? Maybe the reason behind is that the inflation rate thanks to stopped mining will decrease? Who knows, but now it is not time for buying, so be aware, do not buy in a hype.  ;)

Thise coins are good for pump and dump, but aren't usually good for long term investment

People have been holding etn for over 2 years now and it has just reached the ico price so no real need to rejoice, the fact is that it was dumped hard, i had few etn from ico but sold when i saw that the project was over hyped and price almost came back from highs to ico price, if they had delievered i am sure etn would have been a top project by now.

Electronuem is the real definition of holding strong. I could remember when they were doing mining that even with Android could mine and nobody thought the price would have skyrocketed this much. There are some projects one should hold tight and electronuem happens to be one. I am really happy with the growth and also pretty sure what's keeping it going up will continue. Good one.

Fantastic price and without any confirmation update Electroneum going up to higher price and more than +450% profit for each holder buy ETN on lower price, I think this coin have ended after their moment with lower price last several years and now ETN back to higher price and give much surprise for every holder.

I don't know much about ETN but the last time I heard from them was they are launching a freelancing platform. Maybe that's probably hyped the coin? I tried registering last time but was still a problem. I might have to check this out later since their Anytask project is really promising.

Electroneum was a potential coin and a pump was surely coming but again this large growth could be unsustaining and probably go with a correction. If it goes on one, it would be a good time to buy Electroneum as they have large plans ahead. Though I was holding no large amount of ETN and missed the bull ride.

I doubt most of the coins wil be able to reach ATH again. It was January 2018 when most of altcoins had their ATH just out of nothing but FOMO. For altcoin market, it is unlikely to happen again in my opinion.

and again i am just too late , now i see this thread i remember that i was recieving e-mails from a"Richard" who was talking about big announcement for electroneum , it started some weeks ago , and every day i thought by myself that i was going to buy them but after that i forgot it and now i saw that price was x5 , missed chanche

Whales at work with electroneum I presume, just after the news of abandoning electroneum mobile miner spreads the price start surging, it's been a while since I followed the project, maybe a new plan is in motion? I really can't say,

It's really interesting to see the impressive growth of etn after a long time it may be the right time for electronium team to consider to list etn on some more big and notable exchanges so it may leave a positive impact in cryptocurrency market and could continue its growth anyways with some effective use case etn looks capable to make place between good altcoins.

That was not what really happened, it was a perfect timing for electroneum when it hit the exchanges, bullrun was alive and kicking at that time that's what makes etn reach a ATH of 0.2$, it was same thing for many new coins that came out back then

Yeah, only come back after 2 years isn't impressive at all. Worst, I doubt they could climb a new high and most likely will fall back after this.

I remember the ICO of ETN which was very successful and after ICO when it goes live in cryptopia exchange it price go the moon and raise up to $0.1. but after Bitcoin long bearish season, ETN remained below than or equal to its ICO price , Now after Bitcoin halving again, ETN gains very good position.

Bitcoin bear market of 2018 is what crippled electroneum, that project is a very good one, I was one of the early miners of electroneum and I mined thousands of the coin, many have criticized this project because of their mobile cloud mining but now the team are planning to close it down.

ETN's ATH is $ 0.16, so the current price is still too low compared to the past. The price increase over the past few days is not very significant because it only helps ETN go up and equal to ICO price

Yeah... it looks so. I checked the charts, and during the last two-three days, the prices have fallen by 20% or so. The liquidity is not there, with total daily volumes measured at a few million USD. And most of the volume comes from a handful of exchanges, such as KuCoin, Huobi Global and HitBTC. It is also listed in exchanges such as CoinBene and Liquid, but the volumes there are very low.

You need to be very cautious with this kind of threads, I'm sure there are some big holders out there waiting for people to fall into the hype to dump their bags on them and move along.

We don't know what will happen in the future, especially the market is very unpredictable on which was many
doesn't know what could be the price of ETN, and that is because of the volatility happening in the market, aside from that
lets see what will happen anyway.

This might just be a little pump or buy back because of the upcoming event. I also read somewhere that the CEO sent some sort of bullish mail concerning some things to expect which led to the spike in price. I will sit and watch what will happen after the event.

ETN has slid back to $.0085-.009 from $.01 less than 24 hrs ago.  Up 70% in last 3 days.

Please anyone looking to buy wait for the price to correct before buying, remember the last pump and how it all ends. I think what is driving the pump is the stop of the mobile mining, since the inflation is going to reduce maybe the market is pricing that into the price or maybe there is a pump and dump and any bag holder could hold for long

It is a risk when buying coins at a high price or when the price has already occurred the pump can potentially dump and get stuck at high prices but at least it must be able to have high courage to fight that risk.
