Title: Will Alpha-t asics be good as they are advertised?
Post by: sameev29 on March 21, 2014, 02:08:35 PM
You have seen those asics before. Is there any chance they might turn out like Butterflylabs asics, high power consumption, half the hash rate than it was advertised, heat problem etc.

Also on their terms of orders it says,'We have developed our products to be standalone with an easy to configure WebGui. However, they do require some basic technical skills to set up and operate, and you should not order unless you are comfortable with this type of technology.'

Whats WebGui?Cant I just connect it to my pc and start mining?

Is it worth to order one?

Why would you preorder for something that has no guarantee of actually showing up on time, or at all?

Setup GPU rigs, at least you can do that NOW and is not that hard.
