Title: My first visit to Bitcoin. Share your fast visit price
Post by: Sayma83 on May 25, 2020, 11:33:37 PM
As far as I can remember, I came to know about this Bitcoin from one big brother in 2016, I had a job with them according to group + level, if the level could be increased, I would earn Bitcoin, 5 level Bitcoin for each level. Got it, for that job, I bought 5 $ Bitcoin, then the thing I remember was the price of Bitcoin, 1Btc = 900 $ +, that's when I first saw Bitcoin, never heard of Bitcoin before, share your experience, first How much have you seen the price of Bitcoin?

My friend contact me for crypto MLM token coin in 2017, They was giving per day 1% daily return of investment. Then after I studied on internet about crypto currency and found Mother Currency (Bitcoin). Price was around $1200 per bitcoin. I purchased my first 2 bitcoins @1248 USD rather then purchase MLM coin. I keep those coins and sell those first coins @11467 USD. It was great experience.

Somewhere around 2013 I heard news on the TV about a thing called Bitcoin and it's price going above 1K USD.This is the first time I heard about BTC.In 2014,the Bitcoin price collapsed,so the mainstream media was shitting over Bitcoin and calling a scam and a failed project,so I wasn't interested in BTC at all.
In the summer of 2015,the price of Bitcoin was around 300 USD.By the end of 2015 it was around 450 USD.
I remember that I got really intrigued by Bitcoin back then, but I never thought that the BTC price will go above 1000 USD again. To me,1K USD was the absolute top. ;D

Similar for me, I heard about it in the first few years, it seemed interesting so I thought I'd look into it. Unfortunately my research was only superficial, I read a few articles that explained that bitcoin was a reward you got for solving complex maths puzzles. I couldn't see the point of it, I couldn't see why these puzzles needed to have a reward, couldn't see why bitcoin would have any value, particularly as these weren't problems that needed to be solved - why arbitrary puzzles rather than say working on protein folding or medical research? Initially, I missed the whole point of it. I suspect that if instead I'd managed to find an article about how bitcoin arose as a response to the financial crisis and was devised as a new decentralised monetary system, and the 'maths puzzles' were simply the distribution mechanism rather than the overall purpose, then I'd have been much more interested and would have leapt in there and then.

... I paid the price for my poor research, didn't finally understand what it was until 2017.

I really surprised for why people buying them and what kind of currency it is!! But matter of sorrow that my happy days did not last long. after some days it come to $10k and then 6k$ which was very unexpected to me.

thanks.

I never saw/knew that bitcoin was televised as early as that year, or maybe I'm too young for it to notice coz I started to get interest with bitcoin when I needed for some reason that I don't know it yet, I just need something to get done on online purchase and get hooked up with it realizing that it is the fiat version of the internet.

In 2014,the Bitcoin price collapsed,so the mainstream media was shitting over Bitcoin and calling a scam and a failed project,so I wasn't interested in BTC at all.
They laughed at it coz it's volatile, now they are crying with their bitcoin investment coz it is volatile haha lol.

That was the price when I started knowing bitcoin, around 2016, it was worth more than $1K I guess then I discover this forum and now here I am  ;D

What a memory lane. Anybody would regret not having bought at a time like that on the hindsight. Such is life and sometimes that's laced with, "Had I known." Just imagine what a $100 investment would've been worth today.

I also was bitten by the same MLM bug in 2017. That was in January and Bitcoin was still hovering around $700-$900. Good a thing I registered here immediately and have learnt quite a lot since then. 2017 was the golden era though I was still a greenhorn then and never truly understood how to make the best out of that era. Now, things have changed.

The first time that I look into Bitcoin the price was around $4,000+ it was back in August 2017 when my friend told me about it and how he earns from it.
He told me that there are so many ways to earn even if you wouldn't invest so I got curious about it and tried it,
He first shows me about faucet,PTC and solving captcha to earn free money then told me about trading and gambling then this forum where I could learn more about crypto.

Well that's quite interesting story I went to hunt for a job opportunity where I met a guy and he will very crazy of Cryptocurrency and he was telling me to invest in BTC as this coin is going to become 10x in near future I just laughed and went as it is, when it went all-time high in 2017 by that I realised I made a mistake for not investing at that time the price of BTC was 8k. I request everyone to invest as this has a bright future ahead.

Hello everybody. For the first time, my attention was hooked on bitcoin in the spring of 2017, the price at that time, if memory serves, is $ 1,200. The name caught my eye - Bitcoin. Well, you must admit that there is something magical in this sound ... Then I already drew attention to the price that was at that time - of course, it struck me very much that in a short time this asset had grown very much. At that time, I had little faith in the fact that the price would generally be more than 2K. And, unfortunately, I did very poorly with the volume of digital gold that I had at that time. I remember very, very well the morning of the day when Bitcoin cost almost 20k - I will remember this morning for my whole life, because if it were not for my careless attitude to my "wealth" in 2017, I would have become a holder in a short time 10,000 dollars. I am very grateful to Bitcoin, because it was from that time that I became much more collected and began to relate to my chances much more carefully.

If I am not mistaken it was last week of July or earlier in August 2017 when I got interested in cryptocurrency, the bitcoin price was $4000 + that time. I cannot remember the exact amount I bought but I am pretty sure it is not exceeding $20  :D I am a bit hesitant at that time and I have no idea of all these crypto stuff. There is regret for missing the chance to bag more and sell at peak but I am still thankful I got in this industry. No one introduces bitcoin to me, I just found it on google searching for freelance jobs and anything that enables you to earn I awe this forum a lot.

OP is probably talking about multi-level marketing (MLM) where you ask a few people to become your downline by purchasing a product of their choice (that is available in the company you are working for).

@OP,
Let me tell you about one of the most interesting offer I got during 2010. Yes, I heard about BTC when me and my brother were being offered BTC at just $0.11 a coin (total lot of 10k BTC). We refused thinking of this as a Ponzi and seeing no developments as well as least community discussions. That's where I came to know about BTC. I didn't even mine because I thought it'd not get me even to the break even point and burn my laptop, so I left it. Later in 2013 when I saw the same BTC being sold at $1000 (its ATH at that time), I decided to buy in and then I began to dig in a lot about BTC and the crypto world.

Sound like a pyramid scheme, so you probably got to know about bitcoin from a pyramid scheme. I hope you didn't have an ugly experience from it.
And instead of saying the price, would probably be better if you let us know "when" (year) you got to know about bitcoin.
The first I heard was back in 2013 when Mt. Gox was the largest exchange. Didn't show much of an interest, but found it more interesting after all those controversies that took place.

After MLM business crypto investment platforms also implemented that idea on their business which was slightly different. Although i can't remember the date exactly but maybe i have seen somewhere in 2014 when people were not enough aware about ponzi and revenue ad click sites. At that time some crypto backed revenue ad click platform provided level based commission for their user. Most probably "OP" is trying to mention something like that.

I first find Bitcoin at the price of $300-400 around to that. Faucet's really worth to spend some time at that day (where I first started and spend one day after I went to know this forum).

It was 2013, and the price is about $ 250, if not mistaken. In any case, the price then did not exceed $ 300. Now I would have to dream up how much money I could have now if I had invested at least $ 3,000 at that time, but not fate. Or maybe it’s for the best.

2015, Bitcoin at $500 is like a dream lol. Price stayed at $300 range for a long period. Lots of threads in the Speculation section if when bitcoin will reach $400, $500, $600, etc.

Earning BTC1 is quite easy. In faucets, you can earn 250,000 satoshis for just 3 hours work as long as you have the compilation of those 1,000 satoshis rate per hour faucet sites and included also those 500 satoshis paying sites. Lots of micro-task giving you 500-1,000 satoshis. But since BTC price is just playing around or less than $300, even you earned BTC0.01 for 3 days, the USD value of it is low.

And after the price breached the $500, the $1,000 is now considered as a dream price. As bitcoin progress, not just $1,000 but it reached around $20,000 in 2 years. Even the bearish and blood bath happened after the new ATH, it's proved to us that bitcoin can always reach the unexpected.

when in 2013 bitcoin still looked doubtful and considered that prices at that time were the most expensive but it was shocking to see bitcoin price movements in 2017 that made many people surprised because the price of bitcoin could reach its highest price again at around $ 19k, until now I have been thinking that the price of bitcoin can reach its highest price again so I still save bitcoin to enjoy profit when the price of bitcoin goes up to be expensive again.

I am not luck as what OP was. I started to learn cryptocurrency back when 2017. When the ATH of bitcoin arose, that was also the time that I was started to room around in this forum and some crypto industry. However, I was not lucky enough since after ATH till now, I never earned a lot of money. But I am still trying to stay here and keep in touch in trading so that I can earn and save more bitcoin.

Oh btw, My first price that I have seen in bitcoin was 7000 usd.

My first touching point with BTC was around 2017.
The price was 500 -1000 if I remember correctly and at that time I was thinking that it was very expensive and I trying to understand why it has such a huge price.
Unfortunately, I didn't buy in then and I did so around half a year later.

I think 2013-2015 was the best year for me because I can collect much bitcoin from the faucet, and that helps me to learn trading besides of search for more bitcoin. In that year, we can get big rewards from the faucet, and I think that people who play with the faucet agree that in a day, they can get a nice reward to start trading. But you don't have to feel sad if you knew bitcoin from 2016-2017 because you still have more time to get more bitcoin if you try in many ways. The key here is never giving up to start what you did and always try to get any possibility to earn more bitcoin in many ways because I am sure, that if you can do that, you will have much bitcoin in the future.

I know about Bitcoin via my brother. He play game and recieve BTC as a reward. Then they use BTC to buy/sell equipment. He earn money from it and I help him to manage/control. I know BTC in this time. Then, I invest some project and get profit. Do you know Bitconnect. Hextra...? There are MLM project with huge profit margin. And I see the BTC is speed development, BTC's price pumping from 3,000$ to over 18,000%/BTC. Then, MLM is fall down, many people lost all of their money, BTC also down from 19,600 to 10,000 and lower. That's so crazy. Now, The BTC's price is fluctuations, can be down 10%/day or pump 20%/day. So, everyone have to be carefull, REMEMBER, always set stoploss when you buy

I started getting into this kind of field and entering Bitcoin was mid 2016. I was still a student that time and had no idea where to start with cryptocurrency. As far as I can remember, Bitcoin were around $600 at that time and of course, I was surprised that a single coin on the internet can cause $600. Little did I know that after 4 years, Bitcoin would just continue to rise in terms of popularity and its price. 2016 was a good old days for me since that was the time when I really had to learn what to do in this field.

I still remember my first time I knew Bitcoin. It was around September of 2017 and the price of it is at around $4,000.

At that time, I knew already that the price of Bitcoin is increasing in the succeeding months but I'm an ignorant shit at that time and no idea what is happening but I'm just watching the price of Bitcoin rising and rising. At that time, I don't know how to buy Bitcoin (I don't have funds too at that time to buy some) and I'm still learning at that time. Until it reaches its peak at near $20,000 last December 2017 but I didn't do anything but learn and learn and learn.

I bought my first Bitcoins February of 2018 and I want to use it for trading. I didn't know that it is the year of hell :D. The year where Bitcoin will make a great consolidation. I'm just lucky that I only invested 10$ on it.
Now I saw it all already so I know what to do now in both situations (up or down).

I came to know bitcoin when the price is around $300 - $500 cant remember exactly. I have a friend who is a trader and encourage me to try investing in crypto and be a trader.

I remember that I bought a small amount of bitcoin as my first investment and from that my friend teach me on how to trade and I learned the other ways to earn in crypto, the rest is history.

I knew bitcoin when its price was increasing drastically exactly when its price touched its all-time high.

But at that time I can't buy it, I just saw and made me fascinated. Also, that was my weirdest thing when I see a coin (that called by many people) which has no entity and is not clear who made it but it has a high price even can beat an existing investment place made by a popular person.

That made me tempted to know more about it and I tried to find some source who tells about bitcoin until I know this forum. At that time I started to learn about bitcoin until now and I can buy a little amount of it and invested it until now. I won't sell it and try to collect as much as I can, I have an intention to sell it when its price touch another all-time high, just hoping that its price will touch $100.000 per one bitcoin.

Mine is quite similar to yours. I got to know about cryptocurrency when I got a job and was looking for a way to receive payment from them. The company was in Ireland and they recommended that I make use of Bitcoin, and then I never knew anything about Bitcoin.

So, I quickly opened my browser and did research on Bitcoin to understand what it is all about. After that I was directed to install the Coinbase wallet on my phone which I did and was able to receive my payment immediately and I didn’t waste time to withdraw the money because I knew it was volatile lol. Things has really changed mehn. When I started this the price of Bitcoin was way too low.

The first time I knew the price of bitcoin was in 2015 and at that time the price of bitcoin was still around $ 300. I was very interested and started to learn what bitcoin is and how to get it. I learned self-taught trading from a number of articles and videos that I watched. At that time bitcoin was still not as popular as it is today.

How to get and duplicate bitcoin is also diverse, ranging from trading to using the MLM Business model as told @OP as an investment platform for crypto that requires looking for downlines to get more bonuses or profits.

It was the 4th quarter of 2015 when I first saw bitcoin price if I'm not mistaken it's $500 per BTC it was that low at that time and most of the investment method was cloud mining which turnout most of them to be a scam. those cloud mining has stolen billions of dollars of BTC if we compared the price today. I got scammed by those cloud mining too, I didn't even get the amount of my investment. I just woke up one day and they never pay their users anymore.

How i wish i made that same decision wayback because we both learn about bitcoin in 2016 but the problem is i am too busy in real life that time and i have no chance of putting time to learn about crypto not until in the last quarter of 2017 when the price moves highest like almost 20k$.

but suddenly?i bought when the price starts to drops down so my fund got stocked but i am not bother because i am still waiting for many years to come and i think thats enough for me as i believe and support Blockchain.

I am confused as what kind of work is that you are pertaining to. Group + level? Is this some kind of networking scheme?

On the other hand, I first knew bitcoin when it was $10k before. Yep, I saw how it pumped that high and dump to $3,000. The first time I saw the flactuation but meant to gained profits as well because I tend to buy bitcoin before it pumped. That's my first journey as btc trader. I have took the risk and saw how the crypto market moves.

nice venture buddy  . 1btc for 900 usd were i think still expensive for me so i probably wont be investing on it even if i can turn back the time but for the person like you that has a capital already , that must be pretty regretful knowing that you can still buy more  . i only got involved on btc starting from the year 2017 i think  and price that time were times 10  ( x10 ) from what you have saw the first time you got involved on btc  . this makes me more to not afford btc but luckily ive been involved on some btc paying jobs online  ,that makes me earn some chunks

I think it is,some kind of online groups that need to sell or invite people to increase your level.

or maybe gaming?because i have encountered online gaming that offers payment in cash via paypal so there can be the same as this.

That is my very frustrating days, when the Bitcoin Hit the floor to $3,000 level and also bitterness why i bought in 5 digits and did not sold while the price still on that bracket.

But what made me satisfy is when i bought again that time instead of selling so at least i have returning some of my losses now and waiting for the Bull again.

~$10 USD in 2011. i mined using a gpu and i think the mtgox price was what i used.

and then of course the price dropped to $2 USD for the next year or so. a pattern that i now know well.

I can remember the first time I found out about bitcoin from my friend. He told me the details about bitcoin. At that time, I used to do Forex trading and freelancing on online. I still remember the day when I first bought bitcoin for only $460. I bought 2 BTC, most probably it is in November 2015. In November 2015, the price of bitcoin has suddenly dropped to $360. At first, I thought investing in bitcoin would be a loss project for me. I wanted to sell that but my friend told me to wait a few more days.  I listened to him and I sold that coin in august 2017, near about $4000.

Same to you. I see myself when read the comment of yours. But, unlike you, I almost all in late 2018. I bought ETH, NEO àn LTC because in that time, I believe BTC will pump to 25,000 or 50,00 USD. So, as you see, From 2018 to now, BTC has been a serious drop in prices and The altcoin also has a more serious decline (Exp: ETH lost more than 70& from 2018 to now). So, one advice for newbie or anyone want to get money form cryptocurrencies market: dont trust in anything, get money when you take a profit and always set stoploss when you buy anything!

It was a funny thing when I first recognized Bitcoin. I used to get some money from a friend of mine. So he said he can't give me cash. I said how do you want to pay my money ??? He told me that he had some online currency. He wanted to pay them for my money. I also agreed because I thought I might not get the money later. At that time the price of Bitcoin was around $3K.

I first heard about it in 2014 when people were talking about MtGox crash and the big bubble and the silkroad. I didn't buy because all my knowledge came from the mainstream media and I thought it was the road to an end. I didn't catch the bottom at ~$300 but I have Bitcoins acquired at different levels, mostly around $600, but also 700, 800 and so on.
