https://bitcointalk.org/privacy.php I was just wondering why bitcointalk.org came under US jurisdiction ? More a query than anything else ! This is the quote -“Bitcointalk.org is in US jurisdiction, and is subject to US subpoenas, wiretap orders, preservation orders (which would negate the above retention rules), and similar. Post by: bL4nkcode on May 26, 2020, 12:22:13 PM My guess is due to bitcointalk hosting, and which I think is namecheap(saw this in previous threads of theymos) or eNom(saw it on whois.net) both are US-based hosting provider which means the presence of bitcointalk is also under the jurisdiction of US law.
