Title: Apoolex SCAM?
Post by: cogswap on May 28, 2020, 07:15:28 AM
Hello, a friend has just happened what they say on this antiscam website.
The exchange is called Apoolex.
He met a Chinese woman on Tinder and just convinced him to buy a currency called GBY on that exchange.
My friend still thinks it is not scam. Read the comments on the antiscam website.

My friend says that the GBY coin will hit the market at the end of July and that he thinks it is not a scam.

That exchange is fake, right?

This looks very scammy. Their website is made less than 3 months ago, and they claim to have tens of thousands of users. Tell your friend to stay away from this exchange and to withdraw money while he can. If he can.

OK thank you very much.

I'm going to tell you. He switched all his bitcoin to GBY ...
And now ... it won't let you pass it to bitcoin ...
According to the Chinese person, he tells him that when the GBY currency comes onto the market at the end of July, it will let him change it to btc, but I do NOT believe it.

I suggest your friend should read this thread New scam scheme (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224612.0). No need to trust a unknown person from online dating apps, not all of user in online dating is real person... what if she is not a real girl?  ::)

I never heard about GBY coin before, also not listed in coingecko or coinmarketcap. This coin only listed on this scam exchange and plagiarized whitepaper

This looks very scammy. Their website is made less than 3 months ago, and they claim to have tens of thousands of users.

What's shadier is that they are replacing with apoolex with sionstore as I'm writing this

http://archive.vn/wip/OoxzF
http://archive.vn/wip/7taQv

The same number of users, same bla bla bla

And by the way, sionstore is also shady, the domain name might be older but it's a dropped domain
https://whois.domaintools.com/sionstore.com
2 registrars with 3 drops

And it was a Spanish web design and hosting business a year ago:
https://web.archive.org/web/20180110014916/http://sionstore.com/

Anyhow, financial advice on tinder? Common, it doesn't have to be cryptos, any business from selling cookies to raising cows proposed there is a scam.

It's true I just saw it, they are changing the name to "sionstore"
I am increasingly clear that it is a scam.
