Some people may use their ethereum to join in the testnet of ethereum 2.0 called beacon chain. You can also see the total validators that already registered on the beacon chain too

https://beacon.etherscan.io/statistics

It's increasing a lot.

this mean ethereum price will shoot up in the near time
and maybe the best time to buy more ethereum is now ;)

it looks like the ethereum movement is getting better now. Is ethereum 2.0 really going to happen in the coming July? Well, I hope this development will continue. however, I'm also focused on increasing the amount of ethereum I have.

Any good investor should see that ETH 2.0 will bring good pump on ETH. Remember ethereum was over 1000$ in 2017. July is good news for ETH, I think its price is still undervalued at 200$+

It might be but it can't also be that people are just doing it for trades because ETH is pumping. Whatever the reason is there's a possibility that it's because of ETHs recent pump. I don't want to think that much because there are no insiders regarding the PoS 2.0 and if there is then Binance have already made an announcement that they can also hold its staking like the other coins that they have. Needless to say, the relation is just about the markets pump.

Hopefully they don't remain on centralized exchanges and the problem becomes a norm (centralized dominating the decentralized).
Well, I don't believe in the typical Proof of stake atall. I think few people or entities could easily own the coins and make it look like they are owned by diverse people... There should be no easy way (or possibility) to control the diverse people.
Validators should be determined by merit and good reputation. Skills, good/foolproof reputation probably tied to their unique decentralized/anonymous identification would work great.

I think it's the reason why ethereum is bullish since two days ago now, every holders are getting prepared for the upcoming 2.0 upgrade, Im not that interested in the proof of stake because it requires 32 Eth, that's way too much for me, I've never owned more than 5 eth before, I think vitalik should lower this for many to take advantage of the POS not just the whales

the thing I am waiting for the most is Ethereum 2.0, but it looks like Ethereum 2.0 is still going through another stage to be launched,
I have not heard of Ethereum 2.0 being launched

There is a big hype around the Ethereum update. Ethereum is now much stronger in growth than Bitcoin for the first time since 2017, so people expect a lot from this update.

That's the speculation of the ETH 2.0 supporters, but there's no guarantee for that, however, based on the market trend, ETH is likely to be bullish before the launch date of ETH 2.0 but ETH at over $200, I would not bite that price, I'm hoping it will drop a bit before I'll start accumulating in preparation for a possible pump starting next month . I have a feeling that the market will drop again soon.

Obviously, they are waiting for ETH 2.0 this July and hoping that it will create a lot of hype pushing the price to grow and making a lot of money for them. I don't know about the demand though, but it's simply manipulation and pump and dump and then exit to get more profits.

And just today alone, ETH price jumps 10%, I was surprise as we are still far from July. But for those who think that we are in the alt season, I would say that you should wait a little longer. Perhaps we will see what's going to happen after this July if alt market will bounce back and recover for good and will have its bull-run.

People have been massively cashing out their ethereum. They have already started to join in the big event that will come very soon. Almost all of ethereum holders are waiting for this moment to take the aadvantage.

Did anyone heard about ETH 2.0 staking? The minimum amount of 32 ETH is required if you want to stake ETH 2.0. If you are a validator, you need to run a validator node. But the only risk here is you need to lock your 32 ETH for a period of time.

Yes, we all heard about 32 ETH! Amount needed ti run masternode and to stake Ethereum. Sadly I am on half,
I will keep investing in Ethereum and eventually I will get too that amount. I would like to stake Ethereum and
I believe many others share this feeling, Ethereum is a good coin to have for the future.
It's nice to see that people prepare for Ethreum staking, that means Ethereum will last and it will grow. I am in with
my amount, and I will try to invest enough to have for staking.

Same here, we are in a pandemic. Typical people like me tend to sell some of its crypto to buy important stuff for their family. I am also lack with 32ETH.. But I just realized, staking is not that profitable. Imagine 32ETH per year will only give you 3.2ETH. 10% a year is far too small, you can earn that in a week thru trading.

I did and I have also participated to be a validator and I have deposited 32 ethereum as the requirement but this is still a testnet. How long the lock period is not yet determined and we can't argue that right now.

I hope that prediction will happen because I bought ETH some time ago and held it back until now, and we hope the price of other coins will also go to the moon soon. ::)
