When a project exit scam don't just think it's the end, don't think the scammers walk away, No they don't, they will make a better comeback in a whole new version, I heard projects like

-Adab
-IronX  and many others scam people successful and run away well they will come back because they are able to fool people and nothing was done about it, this is the way of scammers

Be prepared for a whole new way to deceive you investors and bounty hunters, I heard research helps most times but not Everytime, if crypto space is really like this then it will drag crypto back a bit, like one step forward two steps back. Be prepared

Exactly you are correct, I heard too many scam project and I saw that there are the same CEO in different names. So, this is the reason why we need to be cautious at any time because scammers are always looking and find ways just to lure and fool naive people that did not know how to do their own research. For me, the Inmusik project is wasting my money, and now CEO transfers into another project.

When they got the template and experience in scamming, surely we can expect them with a new name and new idea so investors have to be careful with their money or just don't invest at all on the new projects because we had enough of scam from these new projects.Support the existing ones and also make profits while holding them.

Research is your partner if you are an investor and bounty hunter. It's your weapon to avoid those scam projects but it's harder to determine what are the scam projects because most of these con have their different own style. They are believable from their promises that are being told to the community and sadly, many of the people that supported that project were gullible to actually believe their words. But as for those projects that you have named, people would like to ask for some proofs that they are a scam.

Absolutely, these are mostly chain scammers who will exit scam from one project enjoy the money for few months or may be couple of years and then come up with another anonymous shiny looking project to raise funds and then scam people again, i just wish there was a way to filter and stop such people and projects but unfortunately there is none yet.

You are very right and to be honest i would like to confess here that i was scammed by ironx project and i agree it isnot a straight forward scam rather a poorly managed project due to which it lost all value and still no one cares and we do not have access to any official, actually it is still our own mistake in the end. We should have put in more research because during the tokensale they claimed to be owned and backed by ironfx forex brokers in partnership with the team that developed cardano project it was not difficult to contact both project officials and confirm about legitimacy even if one of them had answered you in a clear way with denial of ironx it was easily scam from day one but i do not think anyone made a serious effort to approach these companies so now we cannot do anything about it.

They always use beautiful words at the beginning to make everyone believe that they are a good project. A poorly managed campaign means that they're not serious about what they do. All they want is to make money from the investors and get free advertisement and support from its bounty hunters. Those partnership things and backing up of real-world products or companies is what makes the investors feel secure because it's making the project look legit.

They will still be coming back as they know that there are lots of people waiting for them and willing to be scammed, unless if we are learning already. Even we spread awareness about scamming schemes and other related issues but many were still blinded enough to think about it especially when the saw huge offering market returns. Because in reality many of us here are greedy and want to become rich instantly which we know that it seems impossible.
Until there are people who embrace this kind of trick, scammers will be coming back again and again.

They always come back because they already know the tricks on how to raise money without so much effort put into it because they will just use the previous one and will just edit some parts. They don't have the conscience. After all, they are only after for the money that they will rip from naive users.

Maybe they will come back and scam again? Hahahaha.
If they are planning to make another project or improve their first one, why at the first place they left? They should continue  what they started and fix if there are some issues.
I really don't think that leaving and coming back is the good solution.

It's the end of the project and investors will never recover their money, but of course they will come back as they have succeeded in their first attempt and they will keep making money from investors who lack knowledge and just enter in crypto thinking they can make instant profit in here.

This scammers will teach us a lesson that education is very important, so educate yourself first before investing.

Scammers intention is to make money so they will come back as long as they still believe there's still a lot of money to be made by scamming.
These people will never get tired of scamming, therefore as an investor be aware of this so we can prevent ourselves to fall for their scam.

With proper research, we will know that majority of the projects especially in ICO are scams, knowing that information it should drive us to make a deep research on the project that we think of investing to ensure we will have a bigger chance to invest in a legit project. Determining the project if its scam or legit is just the first step, 2nd step is to looking for a project that has a good potential as not all legit projects have a good potential in the future.

Scammers never disappeared, they will plan another scam project after a successful scam project. When they succeed to scam people, they know well how to make people interested to join and handle everything like a trusted project. Yes, they got experience and they should be more confident to plan other scam projects. So, in my opinion, the chance of the scammers for turning back is quite big. That's a warning for us to be always careful!!

Surely, they will come back and deceive bounty hunters nd participants again. With new look of project, new flowery words and promises, new team, new protocol to be introduced. But since we have known so far how these scammers acted they way they did before, then probably the bounty hunters  may have a good idea and have a strong awareness that they shouldn't be scammed again.

Well I have also heard similar stories, however one thing is certain and that is, scammers do not go away, after successfully defrauding their users they will likely come back again since they have tasted what it feels like to exit scam and succeed. Therefore the only solution is to be careful of every project, once there is a red flag seek more about it and safeguard yourself. Also, look beyond whatever the project present upfront and dig deeper to find the truth about them.

Therefore bounty hunters has to be very careful also when joining a campaign because it could be possible that they are promoting scam projects run by the scammers who just promoted a new project coming from a scam project. It's really hard to know if we are not making deep research on the project we are investing as these people are good in hiding their real identity and they are using fake names.

I actually like the ICO to be regulated in every country these people are raising money, that's the only way investors will be protected and scams will be minimize.

I have followed this two projects and both have their own alibi why they cannot continue, the other will not have an open trade the other cannot get a license so they become an exit scam without even trying their best to push with the project, this is because they already have the funds in their hands and they can run away, like all the other scam projects

Why i think this is a fact that can't be denied is the fact that most of this project team usually use fake identities to launch a project and others remain anonymous so their identities are unknown, it will be very easy for such people to scam investors with multiple fake project without them being caught, sometimes if you look closely maybe you can find similar pattern of a previous scam project in a new one, it is very easy for all this so-called project dev to launch fake project.

Money wakes the greatest allurements in human, it's much the same as stealing or been a hoodlum, when a crucial fruitful the longing of needing more will ascend, they will return for another great turn, you are right OP, I urge you guys to be extremely careful about new projects, make sure teams are real and project use case is new

Sure, the scammer will definitely come back with new projects and more attractive offers. It is best to stay away from new projects because I believe they are scammer and just want to steal money from investors.

Scam never ever gets stop to happen but you can save yourself by not getting involved in those scams, and that gets to happen when you do study the project as well as trying to finding odds in it. If you do research by do focus on every side of the project at that time you will get genuine results about the project and after that, you must find it out that it is a scam or a genuine one. So invest your maximum time in research.

Most likely, I have known several projects before 2017-2018 that raised a decent amount on their tokensale, but they are silent for over 2 years now. No update and development. I guess those projects are dependent on hype, a pump and dump projects. They are only waiting for bullrun and then ride the hype they are trying to bring the project alive again. They will create updates and stuff to scam people again. I suggest being careful and never trust projects like that they only exist when the market is good.

Well, they keep on coming back as a new project after they exit scam.  Indeed research do help but it is not a guarantee that the project is really legit.  Other scams ICO wait for a year or two before making their exit scam.  Others just exploit the buyer by doing pump and dump scheme.  I think if we are to do a research it is best to do a background investigation on the people behind the project.  That is calling the institution that has something to do with their background profile to check if the bio and other achievement such as Schools, work place etc., is really legit.

Really? No wonder I haven't heard anything about the Adab project, it was one project that had so much publicity and promotion from hunters how could they possibly have exited with the rate of success they had,this space is full of scam, people investing should really be cautious.

It's sad honestly to think of this project with the hype and hope and then later turning to nightmares for people. It's part of the joinery of wisdom in this space. At time is coming where people won't buy into any new coin unless it's approved by the regulatory body.

The most interesting facts about exits scam is that, no matter how they rebrand theirselves and bring new projects; they are easy to recogonize and tag.
How then do they keep defrauding people? Greed and get rich quick mentality.

Remember that when doing your research regarding crypto currency, you push your pride and emotions aside and do your research right.

For me, that was the greatest exit scam for them. A lot of people said the bull run 2017-2018 was the easiest way to make money before especially if you are joining on such bounty campaigns.
On the other hand, they don't know how much people lost on some Initial Coin Offering (ICO) conducted by these altcoins before, and now where are they? They disappeared.

I would say scammers do those kinds of stuff, wherein after they exit they will think innovation to make another scam project and get a lot of money but then again investors will never learn and still fall in this kind of trap, remember there is no culprit if there is no victim or greedy people who want to earn over night

yup! now research is not very helpful, many people do research but still it is very difficult even almost no one can appoint with certainty the project is very good and really works or only works to thicken the project developer's pocket.

it is unfortunate, the project you mentioned is one of the projects that during the promotion they look very great and really projects that look real. but in reality now they only talk nonsense.  :'( :'(

This is really dissapointing. These projects are highly trusted at first and resulted to scam exit. I remember this project MiracleTele, it is really good on their beginning then suddenly the team exited after they were able to gain funds from those who trusted the project. I was just really lucky that when I joined the campaign I am able to sell my tokens from bounty.

Scammers are really taking advantage of newbie investors and likely will continue with a different method of scamming. These people will never stop unless apprehended by authorities.

Yeah, this is something that we can never expect to happen. Even though we did our best in doing research, we still be scammed by some projects like this. Though, there's no way to avoid risk in this market and we have to accept it. The only thing we should do after being scammed is moving on and keep working!

If you are just realistic and you know that the scams are everywhere in the market and you will do the right thing to avoid that.
They will continue to try to scam people, but if you are smart and you know how to spot a scam project, you'll never support any project that will ruin the finances of the investors.


Maybe you need to research more enough, I was scammed once investing in ICO, made some research and continue to educate myself, after that, I was never scammed anymore.

Really ? From 2018 until now I have been fooled many times by the ICO. There are many ICOs that have helped me to be profitable but there are also many ICOs ending in scams, although I have done a lot of research but still cannot avoid scam projects in this market.

Once a project exit and scammed they will always be a scammer lol,No one will trust them and please don't Clean their way because you will suffer from redtag protecting scammers like what you have mentioned.

i don't know about this coin and i will never try to look even how good you say about them because never that i wish to be a victim of scams.

It always happen they wanted an easy money wtihout doing too much and they got it. Next thing they will do for sure to create another enticing projects to fool another investors and repeat the same story they had in the past but I don't think that it would work because crypto community already have their eyes on them.

when someone gets a way of living with scamming people out
they will do it again and again
and they are evolving on ways how to fool and take advantage of other people.
their actions reflects to the whole crypto and marking it as a scam.

Scammers stays here, they are just looking for a good opportunity to scam again.
They have selected the crypto market as the best ground to do their scam as here there's a lot of money flowing and it's not or less regulated.

I don't know if there are people who still fall in ICO, but I hope they'll learn from their experience in the past or learn from other people's experience.
Crypto market is full of opportunity but it's a called a high risk market for a reason, therefore we should be smart when we plan to invest here.

Yes i completely agree with your point as i was working in bounty and other crypto related projects from 2018 more than 99% of projects were scam . their intention is to take investors money and run away most of the investors invested their money for gettign real quick profit because the buzz created by the ICO . Here marketing and telling lies and convenience the people . It is how crypto new projects are working . But still not sure why investors are investing on ICO or IEO or any similar  . Already failure rate is 99.9% .

That's the way of crime and criminals, once a mission become successful they won't quit, the zeal of wanting more will take them over, it will be the same for a long time, we should keep learning their new tricks so we won't fall for their traps

Adab and Ironx is such a big disappointment these greedy developers will come back again when the market gets better because they have scammed a huge amount of money and they are still free, they know how now how people are attracted to promises and a quick profit.
People should watch on every project that comes along if you have doubts ask people for help in investigating these projects

True! It's just too hard to understand why a lot of people still involve in ICO and IEO projects. Especially ICO projects, it's too risky to follow those projects. It has been proven for years that there are a lot of scammed ICO projects in the market! However, besides these kind of projects, we can still fall in other traps of scammers in the market. Therefore, stay wise and be careful guys!

So true, well the biggest use case that's performing so well right now are decentralized Finance projects and already I've seen one or two fake/scam DeFi projects already, DeFi is creating hype presently, many fake ones will rise up, let's be careful

Why they wouls quit if they are expert already on making money through this way? I hate it, but can anybody tell me what else could we do? Yes we have scam dedication section for reporting them but they just keep doing and doing those fake projects. I guess the only way to stop them is just continue and push them hard but the cycle would never end. What if a regulation created for this scumbags for good so they at least be scared of punishment.

It doesn't need proof already as its recurring all the time in the history of bounty campaigns and then more bounty hunters are still promoting their projects. They didn't try figuring to earn the fair way but just to take coins from someone who is unsuspecting. If you take a look at the bounty threads they did have the worse graphics which an eye-blinding gif files.  It doesn't make it really attracting but their alts started making comments its a good project.

There's a reason for them to come back as they don't invest anything, and with no investment they can scam even millions of dollars from investors. I think there are two kinds of people who should be blame here, (1) scammer and (2) investors with no knowledge or greedy investors who want quick return of their investment as they would not consider the risk since they are blinded with the high reward.

Crypto is full of scammers and indeed we must be careful in investing here. we ourselves must be able to do the right management to be able to get many benefits from an investment whose risk is not large. in my opinion it is indeed a good thing

As long as they know that they can collect money, they will continue it over and over again. Even if they fail or succeed, they will just create a new project that will look legitimate in the eyes of investors and its supporters, no wonder there are a never-ending number of scammers.

That's it, so far they have had a successful exit scam, they will be pushed to go for more, but the challenge might be finding out who they truly are when taking into account that they (the team) can steal people's identity. Also, this issue of scams is getting out of hand, because scammers won't fail to use any available opportunity at their disposal to scam hence the reason most people only participate in IEOs on major exchanges since there is every possiblity that scammers won't go that path. So in all dealings, it still points to making the right decisions and not allowing what we see about the project to drive us.

I think it depends on the situation those exit scam projects that raised only a small amount of money will have a chance to coming back with another identity and project name, Because the pure reason was only the money But for those scammers that raise a big amount of money during the ICO I don't think it will come back for sure they having a good time now spending those millions out of investors money.

Scammers don't quit easily, even when they stole millions of dollars successful, all we can do is protect ourselves, thy are still out there and they will keep coming back for more

So imagine how crazy you need to be, to be scammed twice from the same scammers? First time they tricked everybody, they come back with some crazy story about what happened and persuade you to join again. Well I don't blame scammers here. You know that old one fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. And ask yourself what did you learn from your mistakes, or you didn't learn anything... in that case you will repeat them over and over again.

Adab was hell lot of shit scam project, but anyone who complains about ironx is a little weird to me i'd say. Bounty hunting is always about profit and not necessarily if what the project brings to the table works out or not. Ironx traded beautifully well on forkdelta and likewise citios exchange. Until proper regulation it is hard to stop those frauds. But by proper research, you stand at an advantage to defeat and avoid the frauds in the Bounty marketing scene

As things progress and new technologies pop up, there will always be new styles that scammers will be using.
We have to be careful and try to be up to date with things that are happening, not just in cryptocurrency, but in other markets that are similar to it.

Scammers never stop, they see it as their business and they keep doing it. They don’t just create one project, they create many of their scam projects and keep trying their luck on people that will fall for it. They continue doing this until they are caught by the government/law enforcement. And even when they get caught, there are still other scammers/hackers out there to continue from where they stopped.

If its true then its not surprising. We know scammers will continue to exist and do another ways to scam others. They will take advantage those who easily bite their offer who promise a high return in short period.

So in oder for us to avoid these scammers we need to be careful in choosing what coin/project we are going to invest our money. Do an extensive research and dig deeper, in this way we can choose a project that is unlikely to be a scam.

The best way is avoid investing even they try to do to repeat and roll out again a new project for scamming users its actually up to us whether we join or not dont we? Sometime the best cure is prevention and this start from individual. Limit yourself to this kind of projects you know already yourself if this is worth it or not. Why not stick with bitcoin or major altcoins such as ethereum.

I don't think so, if not people would have been able to recognize many rebranded project, this guy's are very  clever you should know that they will be so careful not to leave any noticeable trace that will connect them to any previous project they are were involved in,
We all know that research is not 100% a guarantee of a project being legit or not, sometimes even with all the research projects still become scam directly or indirectly.

If you say avoid investing it means nobody will want to invest in new project any more even though we know there are still very few good ones out there but the scam project are to much now it is making it difficult to identify the good from the bad, this things will keep happening as long as there are no governing laws and regulations on crypto, invest only in ieo of trusted exchange is my opinion.

Yes, I have seen a lot of project owners which previously ran away only to come back with a new version of their project. Once the project owner comes back it creates small hype around the project during that time they dump remaining coins again.

At least what you have said is a matter of consideration for all of us, especially the Bounthy Hunter and investors and scammers are indeed looking for and continue to look for points of weakness by entering from various directions.

These days mostly investors are much aware about scammers and their ridiculous attempts so I think scammers are getting failed in their attempts that's why they have to close the project and come back with new concept with improvements so they could attract more people and steal their money unfortunately some new investors got scammed who aren't much aware about the legerdemains of scammers but it's good to see that from the last couple of years the numbers of scam victims are decreasing.

I honestly don't mind people following ICO/IEO or whatever projects they want. My issue is people follow because they think if they put in enough fomo they can help turn it into the next cash cow. And then they get frustrated because months turn into years into nothing etc.

If only people actually just chose a product they can use and actually enjoy. Then the years aren't frustrating.

Regardless of what is the name of the project, the project type, the fundraising conducted, scammers will always come back and scary thing is that they keep coming. It never stops just like how scams even happen outside crypto space.
Sometimes investors are to be blamed to these because they're feeding the beast and now it's coming in their way again.
