Ethereum started trading at a higher rate of 2.84% during the day (started at $231.55 towards $240) and thus considered one of the winners at the beginning of the month.
The outlook for June appears positive, as there is a lot of news that could push the price up:

 - Ethereum (ETH) 2.0: It is not known at the time of launch of the update which may add a lot to ETH to become a complete and viable system able to bypass the market.
Initial estimates indicate that it is possible to launch during this month or next month, which enhances investor confidence, and hence the possibility of a price increase.

 - second-best cryptocurrency: ETH started 2020 trading at $130 and today prices at $240.
 
 - Binance Inflows: Based on these analyzes, Total ETH inflows into Binance wallets increases, which gives an indication of how the movement of the big players.


Technical Analysis:
above the 61.8% Fib retracement level of the last swing high at $291 to a swing low at $120.
trading above the 50-day SMA and the 100-day SMA
The possibility of more gains is likely, but we may see some corrections in the coming days.

I also expect a correction is about to be seen for Ethereum. The cycle would always show the opposite after it has shown the increasing trend for the past few days.
Technically, I'm not good in analysis but the logic that we have observed not just for Ethereum but for different cryptocurrencies, that's what it's saying.

Unless ETH v2.0 release then I believe this current price trend will sustain for longer period but based on current situation, ETH is just following bitcoin movement which normal occurrences if we look back on crypto history. Bitcoin is still not breaking the 10k USD wall which might be the game changer so that this slowly bearish trend will end. I believe that ETH might experience a sudden dump too once BTC collapse so it's better to not expect much for the ETH price development.

everyone seems to be waiting for Ethereum 2.0, but if this Hype fails, then all will be disappointed,
it all depends on the price of Bitcoin, if Bitcoin can be stuck at the level of $ 9000, Ethereum might be more than $ 300

I saw that it was pumped as high as $242, pumping 10% in a 24 hour span. And I was thinking (or regretting) that I was late could have bought when the price is less than $200.

Regarding ETH 2.0, it is much awaited, it had many delays making investors wary about the future of ETH. It was said that this coming July will be the release. But I'm not sure about it though as there are some miscommunications about the said July date. If then remain on schedule though, this is going to be huge, not just for ETH but perhaps we are going to see altcoin season with ETH leading the way.

As per tweet by Afr Schoe, ETH2 Multi-Client Testnets, July schedule is not that sure, so don't get excited that ETH 2.0 will go live next month.

Technical analysis so far looks solid though, "trading above the 50-day SMA and the 100-day SMA" is a good indication that investors are really looking at Ethereum right now because of upgrade. But I would be careful though, we might see some corrections in the next coming days.

This is a good start for this week for Ethereum in the past week which has shown a significant increase of around 19.2% and hopefully this is just the beginning for the increase in Ethereum after a long time slumped along with other altcoins, and hopefully Ethereum 2.0 will be released soon in the near future.

it looks like Ethereum 2.0 will experience a delay. If it is true that July is not ready,
Ethereum 2.0 will be released next year, we hope this year hopefully it can be launched.

Satis report from two years ago predicted price of Etehreum at $800 in 2021 and at $700 in 2023. That seems quite realistic to me.

and maybe this year the maximum price of ethereum will touch between $400 - $500

This is long term prediction and in crypto, it's hard to be accurate in the long term. Ethereum can surprise us all in next few years and go much higher then we expect! For now, long term investing is a good option definitely, but in short term, I read the news that it would be good to short Ethereum now, it will go under $200 in the next week or two. I will not short it, but if price drops I will add more Ethereums!

I may think if that will come this year but no exact date has been given by vitalik about the ethereum 2.0 update. more players have been sending their ethereum to try to beacon chain too as the validators are increasing a lot.

But here's mine the breakout on Ethereum at around $220 is one of the most significant move of Ethereum there.
It's strong resistance for me especially way back in 2020.
That's why the next strong resistance here is around $280 which it is nice for those people who were able to enter on the breakout around $220, it's kinda easy profits there!

I am not expecting any big move in the price of ETH unless good news about ETH 2.0 comes in. This has been too long and the community is waiting eagerly. This is what I see that will addup in driving the price

i think, for now it's good enough to buy ethereum for assets in the future because ethereum prices are below but to return to 2018 is a dream

it could be possible ethereum is waiting for that, but with the increase in bitcoin ethereum will also have an impact to be able to rise and continue to increase. dependence on bitcoin for all altcoins is no exception with ethereum being very large. there will be no movement in the right direction if bitcoin is not heading for improvement. bitcoin after halving will gradually increase, but the increase will take one year if you look at halving the past. and it is believed that there will not be a jump in all altcoins as well as ethereum without bitcoin itself developing.

If Bitcoin goes bull run ETH will go up too.. Sorry but I dont believe ETH 2.0 could give a huge pump to ETH's price. Only Bitcoin could give a positive price for every altcoin. So better hold Bitcoin. How could Bitcoin go up if you will just trade it to alts?

I was not expecting much when it was dumped hard and it went down to below $50 and i thought it would be hard to have a resurrection and the transaction time and charges were not that great either when the entire ETH team were pissing bitcoin about the slow network an year earlier.

If there is an altcoin season and if ETH is leading the way then i will be really surprised as i still not believe that we will see any breakout rally like saw in the past. The ETH 2.0 release is getting delayed all the time and we are yet to see the exact date when they are rolling that up.

I was surprised the other day when BTC slide from 10k to 9.5k, ETH didn't drop that much and as of this writing, ETH is still in green but of course, BTC is doing the same but it seems like this year, it is ETH's time to shine but let us wait for their development and see if it can make the difference and remain on it's spot.

Thanks for your analysis, I believe they are preparing for the ETH 2.0 hype and some are buying at least 32 ETH to qualify the staking requirement. If indeed the launch will happen next month, then this month whales will start accumulating ETH to prepare for the hype.I believe it's good for short term investment at the moment, ETH has been stable so far and I'm expecting the price will significantly rise this month.

I don't see a huge impact with the covid pandemic 19 on the ethereum movement. even if there might be just a ripple and will recover because the transaction does not affect what is done by the government. ethereum will move up if bitcoin does start to rise significantly. no altcoin at this time can move on its own not because of the impact of bitcoin. ethereum still needs to work hard again to be able to stand alone.

It might affect ethereum price when Eth 2.0 come.
Because with the hype of people or investors maybe it is not so good to invest today . It might be possible that ethereum will be forgotten in a short period of time.

i don't think we are still interested in this matter,what we are holding now is the Bull run that Bitcoin halving will bring and this is surely near to come.

Ethereum increased 7% recently but still no sign of growth like doubling the value,so maybe we need to wait more before taking our profit in good faith.

While majority of us here now are ethreum supporters i believe that most of us had been holding their ETH for long time now,because of the sudden drop in 2018 there are many of us who just forget first their ethereum in Hold to keep their momentum good since there is nothing we can do from the price fall.

You are right about that, l mean there is a huge impact on altcoins by BTC. But that doesn't mean there is not any other factor, which can not affect the price of altcoins absolutely for ETH. Maybe as you said ETH 2.0 can not give a huge pump to ETH price, but in my mind, it will affect so positively to ETH price. BTC is the first reason for the price increases of altcoins, that is right. However, we can not deny other factors.

You are right and I do believe Ethereum has more potential but everything depends on the movement of BTC. IF BTC falls to 8k, there will be sudden dump in Eth but if it can maintain steady or upwards level, Eth is sure going to rise respectively.. BTC is the king and its movement is very important in determining the price of Eth.

bitcoin not only affects ethereum but all of its altcoin movements have been determined by what happens with bitcoin. only a few altcoins can move on their own and are not too influenced by bitcoin. but if bitcoin has experienced a significant increase it can be ascertained that all altcoins will be jacked up, likewise if bitcoin goes down will also affect altcoin. but now that bitcoin after halving is not yet stable and it is certain that ethereum, if it can't keep it, will definitely carry over, it takes a year after halving bitcoin will reach its best point and will also affect ethereum.

Well you didn't see it coz there is no data that will let you see it, though figuratively speaking we can feel it with the market movements. It is just hard to assume that there are effects of covid-19 pandemic in the cryptocurrency scene as a whole.

This is just for me, but the covid-19 affects everything literally. Again there are no data that we can rely on but you can notice the chart, before implementing the lockdowns on different country, mostly in March you can see the price of bitcoin plummeting but it was resisted hence it was seen as opportunity of big players to stacked up their cryptocurrency holdings. I don't know if it is true, but the stimulus package given in America allegedly helped the crypto to avoid getting any price decline, it was announced by coinbase that they are getting a $1200 deposits from newly registered accounts, I just don't know if that was true or just a trap setting.

The price of bitcoin and ethereum is all the time dependent with each other. The rise in price of bitcoin is always cause rise in the price of ethereum . Now the ethereum in the mark of 200$,it may increase to any level. Even the price of ETH will increase to 500$ at the end of 2020.

$500 is a bit conservative if by that time, btc is floating above $20k. If btc goes to ATH, then ETh will also go to ATH i.e. crossing $1500 ( my prediction). This will be game changer if Eth could go upto $3k. Many will turn into millionaires :D It is unsaid space where anything can happen.
