Title: Online challenge, test your knowledge about Bitcointalk
Post by: Husires on June 02, 2020, 02:50:28 PM
This time the questions are more difficult, I do not think anyone will be able to get the full mark without the use of some topics.

The 3rd question's actual answer is 490, isn't it? Why would it be 480 activity in 35 periods.
I did 14 out of 15, didn't know that all the staff know who merit sources are. I used to know only admin know. However, there is a thread here in meta to observe who are the merit sources. You can also check by yourself.

13/15.

My two mistakes were the questions related to rank and privileges of hired members.

My feedback
- I think the "correct" answer for question no. 3 is short by 10.
- Why put two correct answers for one question?
- For no. 11, I didn't know there was a limit per month. I thought that was per post but I still got it correctly.

editing post - Pffrt you are giving it away for other members who want to answer. Spoiler!

You created two topics today.

1. Topic: Bumping on some boards, Is it a successful experience? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5252825.0)

2. Topic: Online challenge, test your knowledge about Bitcointalk (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5252832.0)

The first (crashing into the board) and the second is a quiz / challenge, this is your second topic, it is very difficult for me to understand your two topics.
Somehow, you want to play (Crosswords). or......!

OP, what is that ....!

Please, someone is telling me.....!

what is a 'game'.

Have fun and play it  http://www.quiz-maker.com/QMU73H85

Spoiler alert.
@Pffrt, yeah, I think it should be 490, there is mistake in question. I even checked it with calculator :D.
13/15. I must admit that questions about activity were difficult. I already forgot about most activity things and requirements because it's not so important when we have merit system and my rank is already high. And I also used to think that only theymos know who is merit source. Maybe you have reference which would confirm that staff also can see them?

 8) 8) 8) xD

Pls neglect this unimportant message : ~I tried the game twice, at first try I scored 13/15~ :D

Cool quiz!

hilariousandco mentioned it on one of the sticky threads on this board:

What is a merit source?

There are a certain number of special Merit sources who receive additional amounts of merit to give away. The list is not publicly available but is know to Staff.

I do not think anyone will be able to get the full mark without the use of some topics.
I got 14/15 [SMH].

We need something similar before allowing Newbies to make their first post.

I took the challenge and got only this lol
I had in mind that I will get 15/15 :-P

Some questions were not very clear like that 35 activity in 35 periods etc.

Overall, the op was giving very good amount of thoughts in the questions. Good work.

Is it possible to add some question that require an user to input to answer? like "Find the last post of satoshi (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3)"? Then people should input the link to the answer box, yeah something like that.

Damn, it is so difficult! I only got 11/15 using pure memory. It feels like school tests!

Anyway, this test can be used to give free merit (or bypass the evil IP) to newbies, like in video games, when players get some reward after completing some tutorials. What do you think?

I got just 12/14.

Anyway, this test can be used to give free merit (or bypass the evil IP) to newbies,
I wouldn't mind it being used to give merits to lower ranked accounts, but evil IP is a measure used to prevent banned accounts from re-registering on the forum, and I don't think there should be a substitute for manual whitelisting.
It also decays overtime (the units of evil on the IP)
