Hi everyone, i understand that the global pandemic has caused different economic scenes in the world; but if you are still into crypto currency and bitcoin or you are about giving up on it.

I want to urge you to not give up on crypto currency and bitcoin because it is a wealth creator; all you have to do is to not cheat the process.
Bitcoin is a path to wealth transfer, and i want to encourage to save in satoshis, either daily or weekly; the future of bitcoin and crypto currency is here!

Thank you for that encouragement and I truly appreciate it. This is the mindset of most members here and this is what we've been called to be long in bitcoin. What does it mean that cheating the process? you can't cheat the process of accumulation of bitcoin because you have to buy it and even the technology that's behind it, there's no way to cheat the blockchain. But overall of what you have said is true. It's becoming different from the true purpose of it but it's not gone and many do consider bitcoin as a good store of value.

I have had my ups and downs in the Crypto World but am glad and happy that I work for a blockchain company and guess what? I get my salary paid for every month in Bitcoin, which means I literally live on the Blockchain. Fiat for me is a ponzi scheme, outdated and not real money. FIAT is just a bundle of debt that our overlords have for centuries forced us to bag hold. People now are waking up to Bitcoin and the Freedom it promises, through its limited supply mechanism.
Although I have had some terrible experiences and have seen the worst of human nature in this space, I also hold out a lot of hope for humanity, if we pull this experiment of decentralized finance off and help generations to come.

 You know what I'm trying to do during this pandemic? I really save cryptocurrency especially bitcoin and ethereum coz it seems to me that the price of these two are unaffected by the current events.

I know bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not the key to get rich, but the fact that you can gain so much from it I would not stop using it. And I believe that there is a great purpose for cryptocurrencies in the future, we might just be using it as our daily driver to our transactions. I don't usually say this, but cryptocurrencies has the biggest shot for the world to adopt in the near future to make the cashless society dream come true.

Yes, i am agree with you. i fall in love with BTC at the time of joining of forum and from that time i always tried to connect with satoshi because it gives me happiness in my life. Even in this nCOVID crisis moment i earned money from BTC and also trying to store some amount every month for my future. So i also request to every crypto lover to store some amont of satoshi in every month or week.

I started it but it doesn't mean I'll end it. I think and I know to myself that I'll forever stick with crypto unless Bitcoin will end if I was alive I guess that will be the time that it'll end. I guess I know what you mean to cheat for example scams, hacks and other fraudulent acts that just making the image of Bitcoin bad, just my two cents.

Saving money is a normal practice for people who indeed have a possibility to spare some money monthly. Saving money in BTC is, however, not for everyone, given that it's highly volatile and one might lose a lot. Bitcoin is not a wealth creator, it's just a form of money that happens to be used for other purposes and tends to increase in price. I don't think people should stay with Bitcoin because of hoping to get rich. They should buy it if they believe in it as an alternative to traditional holding and sending money via banks. Bitcoin is no save haven and no 'get rich quick' thing.

I save it for a different reason.
Because I love it.
I think when you are older in this kind of industry you change your perspective in time.

Before it was just selling at some point.
Then you learn more and get hooked. A time will come when you think about why you are selling it and not just use it someday.
It's savings, that is true. But, it is because of an opportunity to use it directly as a means of buying things.

Bitcoin and other crypto currencies, did not have too bad an effect when this pandemic occurred. Bitcoin and altcoin can be hope. Saving or collecting bitcoin little by little is a good idea. To get bitcoin also requires a long effort and process. Unlike the case if bitcoin is purchased using your deposit. But it will still be a valuable investment someday. The future of cryptocurrency and bitcoin will certainly be better. Bitcoin is not really the road to wealth, but is a currency that will sustain your economic life so that it will be better when this pandemic occurs.

Your goals and expectations must always be and of course you must be sure that bitcoin in the future will give you something surprising.

the world is currently in a state of economic downturn, many people are unemployed, my husband is one of the victims of temporary layoffs by the hotel where he works. at present, our family's daily needs come from the sale of cryptocurrencies that we have collected little by little for a long time, I hope this pandemic can end quickly so that my husband and I can HODL Satoshi again.

No person that genuinely understand the concept of bitcoin and it potentials will give just because the market is in downtrend stages.

Bitcoin will only be the path of wealth transfer to investors and traders that have adequate knowledge about it investment. Meanwhile, alot of people have invested in it and only make lost.

I believe what he's saying is not accumulate crypto through negative activities bypassing the right procedures and not abusing the liberation of crypto and this forum.

The pandemic greatly affects the world and it was not a joke. Financially, people are suffering especially average people who somehow would spend the least of their savings just to eat 2-3time a day.

Yeah! This kind of post should be also read by some weak hands who are always panic sell their bitcoin holdings. Just like what OP said, trust the process. We should always think about the long term part of the future since for me, we are still early, need more time.

Its not that easy to have faith and trust on the market. I say we must learn other business or at least know how to do trading. Cause simoly holding could turn sometime into bad state. While waiting for the market to recover we should find a way to earn even through trading. I know its risky but we should try and have some balls to bet on it. Profits are not gonna come if we wait.

Bad publicity always happened so expect market crash always with so many scattered fud on social media. I think crypto market is much stronger than stocks. I did not expect that it withstand the crash due to pandemic corona virus.

Most of the time timing is one of the most important things that you could do to earn your profit immediately. Some of the people today are giving up on the crypto because they lose a lot of money and some of the people that made an investment causes a hodl to their wallets because they miss the chance to giving up their Satoshi when the market price of the coin goes up for over 10k dollars. Some of the people today are still supporting the use of the cryptocurrency which is the bitcoin and most of them are buying every time the coin falls down.


Still, we cannot trust the market because it is volatile and some of the cause of too much increase and decrease of the coins are the cause of the people who hold a lot of market coin but if we are just a simple small investor we need to take care on the market movement it may cause a long term or short term investment.

Good for you, at least, you can make money from crypto. But if you don't sell your bitcoin, you still not make a profit because you still use fiat money to buy what you need. If you still hold your bitcoin because you want to sell at the highest price, you need to have control of yourself to see the bitcoin price movements.

We need to keep trying to earn more bitcoin so we can have more bitcoin, which can help us make more money. While we still have time to earn and save more satoshi, we don't need to give up because I am sure that we can still make another bitcoin in many ways. But don't forget to keep learning and practice so you will have a chance to profit in bitcoin.

Whether or not Bitcoin creates wealth is a relatively relative question, and without specific numbers and examples, it is quite difficult to inspire desperate people by saying a few words to them.  
People who understand how Bitcoin works and what its prospects will agree with you completely.  However, there is another type of people to whom bitcoin caused only disappointments.  

As a rule, these are those people whose goals were primarily aimed at profit, and they cannot be blamed for this.  All of us, to one degree or another, are trying to make money in the crypto market.

Bitcoin has multiple functions, you can use it as means of payment system. Moreover with during this pandemic when many people just stay at home and they need to buy the basic need bitcoin can be made as a solution to pay anything. As long as the merchant accept bitcoin as mean of payment then the user of bitcoin can use for it.

Also, bitcoin can be made as an investment place. The volatility of the price can be made a reason for us to gain a lot of money (its otherwise we can't lose our money in several hours). More than that, there are many popular person already who consider that bitcoin can be juxtaposed with gold. As many people know gold is a safe heaven place so far it means bitcoin can be safe heaven place as well.

Positive topics like this that we need in a pandemic situation, I also include bitcoin believers who believe in the future of bitcoin.
I'm sure investing in bitcoin can make big profits and make us rich, so hold bitcoin as long as you can. And never give up on bitcoin,
the process will not betray the results. We all can certainly get what we want.

Bitcoin savings are really great, and I think this is what most of the members who know the value of bitcoin do, and the future of bitcoin is sure to be great and we will see great price hikes after a long or short period, but I want to warn about one thing I don't think bitcoin will achieve wealth for everyone, this A common misconception especially for beginners who think they can make a fortune by working with bitcoin, of course there are people who have become wealthy with bitcoin but not necessarily everyone becomes like this, I think it is difficult to see the large price hikes that have brought wealth to some in the past. So many misleading information over here. Bitcoin is not a wealth creator. It won't be "creating" any wealth for you. You will have to earn your self. You shouldn't be luring people into investing on bitcoin with the false of hope of making money. Those people who get baited and loses money starts to say "bitcoin is all scam".
Instead try to teach them what bitcoin is and why it far superior than fiat currency. You should also teach them about the cons and current availing problem, so they always remain prepared.

I agree with you but I think OP just wanted people to realize how Bitcoin is changing them when we do speak about investment and of course, it does require some research before jumping in to investment. Bitcoin is a kind of wealth creator if you do know how to make some profit from it since we all know that Bitcoin has a bull and bear market. We can only gain higher return of our investment during the bull market. I think OP need to elaborate all of it when talking about earning Bitcoin on how it's a wealth creator in the first place.

Yes, if you still have a steady income every week or month it would be good to continue to invest in bitcoin or other crypto, but it is unfortunate that when this pandemic dominates the world then a crisis occurs and many people even lose their jobs and in that way they lose his income. In this case anyone who is familiar with cryptocurrency will certainly be confident to keep buying and holding it for future purposes, but there are still many of them who do not really know about the potential of crypto in the future, so buying bitcoin in a crisis is very difficult for them.

Anyway, giving up is not the answer. Even this pandemic is urging some to cash out all the bitcoin that a crypto investor is holding, they can still buy and reinvest it. It is to test ourself to be strong in times like this. Bitcoin has a great value and have a good use. Giving up is not a good option.

He intends to hold like you have a steel balls. This is very hard in general crypto holders because most of us are trading currency and sell whenever the price has already reach above the average RSI. This method is only beneficial for those user who have steady income and enough money to sustain there daily needs which in my case will not work. If I did not cash out when I gain profit then I will no longer have money for purchasing my basic necessities since I usually buy bitcoin using my salary and trade for short term. I cash out whenI need it even though I'm in loss.

You do have a good advice, but this advice is only meant for those that can afford to take it. It’s not everyone that can be saving or investing in this kind of situation,especially when they have no job. And one thing I have noticed is that a lot of people are looking for means to get money quickly and take care of their family.

Some people can’t wait that long, and moreover there is nothing to be sure about when it comes to cryptocurrency, you don’t know where the price is heading. If the price should fall you’re losing money, unless you’re lucky, and then right now the market has been stable for long. Like many people have been emphasizing for year, I have decided to keep by bitcoins for my retirement life. I cannot hold Mr.Satoshi like amount of bitcoins but I am sure about to save like them in terms of number of years.

I was late seeing your encouragement, I recently gave up on my bitcoin for the reason of needing money due to this pandemic. It's really a hard decision I made but I know this is the right decision. But still, I will take your advice and bring it until I have bitcoin again or another cryptocurrency.

I like to read more thread like this, we should encourage ourselves to save more satoshi so we have something in the future.
We never know how much bitcoin will cost in the future but I believe it will be worth a lot as the adoption will certainly increase.

If this is digital gold we are holding now, then we should start holding it and value it like a real gold.

People who can invest or stay invested should remain invested in this if they want to make money in coming time. Those who are stuck and need money than they do not have an option other than cashing out but yeah for the investors or those have some money then should be investing in dips and if require can sell part of it on the upward movement and make some profits as well.

There's no way to Give up in crypto because we have been here and trusting this for years now,yeah there are falling moment but there are also a winning moments and believe me that is much happier and will cover your losses from the past.

I am doing quite a similar thing. Since the beginning of this pandemic I have been trying to increase the accumulation rate of coins in bitcoin and ethereum.

Both of these coins are have become my favourite lately. I have sold most of my altcoins and have diversified it into bitcoin and ethereum equally.
Though I am hoping that it's price will increase exponentially in future, I am wanting to use it for payments in future which is why holding more coins would benefit me in the future.

In the world of cryptocurrencies, it is true that there are ups and downs. If you would work in blockchain, yes you would earn a lot. In every month someone can have his or her salary just like what you are experiencing. It is up to you if you would withdraw your salary or you will just invest it. You need to understand that savings and investment capital can't be the same thing that is why people can't be able to hold in the long term.If you are investing today and expecting a returns on next day or in few months more likely you will get negative results only.

Well, this is what I'm doing right now.

I'm budgeting my Bitcoins and diversifying it in different investments. I convert some of BTC into PHP so that I can use it to buy stocks. I also allot a portion of my weekly profit for long term holdings and allot half of it to my expenses and others.

I just don't like the way you say that Bitcoin is a wealth creator. You are saying like "Invest in Bitcoin now and it will give you wealth later". That isn't the case on Bitcoin especially if you can't bear the ups and downs of it. If you panic easily then be conservative and find another investment and vice versa.

There are such things, called the Ponzi/ MLM/ Pyramid/ money game scams. They promise a certain percentage on a daily basis and early birds are the luckier ones to profit.

Currently not giving up on btc. I didn't even think about it. I manage my coins pretty well especially during this pandemic. I didn't even gamble right now. I hold some and I convert some. I hope this post help others who are slowlyd rifting away to btc because of the pandemic. Just remember that btc has its ups and downs. The most iimportant part is how you will hold during the downs.

Some are confuse about the cheating part, I think it is about earning btc in the natural process and will not use prohibited means, don't scam others, work your way through sig campaigns, and etc. Agree with those who said that btc isn't good to be called as a "wealth creator".

I am not talking about those scam schemes, even in legit investment schemes you have to invest your money which goes after your savings.

Understood, I've also invested in them before. Last time a friend of mine persuaded me to invest in some mutual funds which require a monthly deposit on top of an initial one. The long-term earnings are there but meh, I'd rather go for something more volatile.

can be collected little by little. We can buy crypto from 10% of our income or salary every month, do it consistently for 5 years.

We can't really deny the fact that we're on a shaky economic situation right now and there are situations where we're tempted to sell our holdings. People are just looking at how they would be able to earn money out of it not thinking how they would be earning more in the long run. Though, I am thinking that the way you said, to cheat the process is like to scam, hack or steal others cryptocurrencies or investments. Well, we have our own way of getting our own investments and I just hope it is not the way I think other people get it.

Collecting good quality alts are very possible to earn huge money if you'll going to hold longer,instead of playing with the pump and dump when trends play around you, looking for future developments, and if how  the teams are working behind gives you good chance to follow which projects are good for long term investment, Storing both bitcoin and some other alts and wait till the market experienced another bull run gives your investment a huge benefits.

You got to start from somewhere, earning and saving in satoshis is a good start in my opinion, and it's an investment too, when you save in crypto. Later you can diversify and exchange earned bitcoins for some other coins or tokens, but that is individual decision, people are free to do with crypto what ever people like, it's the beauty of the crypto, be your own bank and do what you want with your money without restrictions.
Who have wish to learn and to develop skills will be able to earn in long run and to earn more, who is lazy will get stuck at some point, and that's fine too, each of us have some unique point of view and personality, so we need to respect sharks that wish to grow and earn more, and lazy people wh are satisfied with low earnings for some simple jobs.

The problem is finding the right alts. There are many promising altcoins with good teams but still 95% of them will end as scam or become completely worthless.
I am now much more focused towards bitcoin than I was in the past, because of the dominance of bitcoin. A lot of altcoins are still 70-90% lower than there ATH and probably a lot of them will never reach that value again.

Now the economy is unpredicted one. Some of the traders are left the crypto and sold their holding for the emergency money need .They get into the real world and suffered a lot. They were forced to sell their crypto for the livelihood expenses also. Bitcoin will be in their market till the crypto traders exit. So you can blindly hold your cryptocurrency.

Actually the point of cheating isn't present in the case of cryptocurrencies as all the transactions are visible to all and you can't steal the coins stored in other wallets without their private keys. But I like your Idea of saving satoshis too as eventually your small savings will accumulate and will become a big number altogether. But without mass adaption all our efforts will wasted and you should always promote bitcoins to everyone that you know as more people will come and thus this could lead to increase in price of bitcoins.

Yes, that is right. We need money to buy the daily needs, and yes, I already sell some of my assets once I out of money. I can not do anything because I need that money to continue surviving in this pandemic. But I don't sell all of my assets, and I am still trying to earn and try to save every profit that I made in many ways. It is better to keep working in many ways than not doing anything except waiting for just help.

It is been a saying in our family that if you are good, and you hit a wall in your life, there will be a lot of people that will help you. Being that bad will just make you hit a wall without any help unless you turn to good. It is not always about the speed of how you get there, it is how hard you get there and how you developed yourself to deserve it.

Even after selling most of my crypto assets, I still hold some to at least have the opportunity to make a profit. People should keep on holding because after all this obstacle that we are facing right now, there will be a great future waiting after our hard times.

To be honest, I'm holding into it more tightly ;). So don't worry too much. Besides, as you will notice on the current price chart, the prices are not affected so negatively thus I believe that most of the investors will continue hodling/trading unless they are now facing a strong financial crisis (but that was deeply understandable anyway).

But that is not the same thing as the others. Most probably sold their crypto the same as me due to the pandemic issue we have. You are lucky that you were able to keep your holdings unlike me who recently sold my crypto due to the said reason. I regret it since I really want to hold it for a long time but what can I do if I really need the money.

It's what I've been saying all along. I'm not sure why anyone would wish for the collapse of fiat and the economy and whatever system it's all built on. I do think its time is up, but I would prefer a more orderly abandoning of the ship to Bitcoin and the like, rather than a forced Armageddon of fiat leading to absolute overnight failure of money.

What many don't understand is, Bitcoin might not give you what you want financially now but will do in the future, keeping them as satoshi right now will help you and your family on raining day. During sometimes 2016 I used to despise satoshi until 2017 when I had to check all my exchange wallets including apps wallet, this was how I became okay financially to assist my families. Don't despise the small pay of today but look towards tomorrow and into the future.

Nice words for crypto enthusiasts. But the problem is some of us wants to see quick the result of engaging themselves in crypto and not looking for long term, thats why they tend to lose their patience and quit.

From day 1 of me doing faucets only I didn't despise it.
I tried to earn more and look for ways on how to earn them.
No one saw the future. No one really thought this price could happen.
I watched videos before of some teenager hating the bitcoin ATM as he saw it went deep and since then hated bitcoin.
IIRC, he bought at $1000 and it dropped to $600. He withdrew it all without thinking.

This is proof that we should not be short-term investors and short in patience when it comes to bitcoin.

OP words came at the right time, basically I was thinking of  how would I have to stand up for my responsibility in life? But with this advise from OP am going to keep saving every satoshi am able to lay my hands upon. Possibly, if i was able to save 1000 satoshi from the time I new bitcoin I would have been in $millions by now but was not looking at that. For those with funds, it is the right time to buy bitcoin and holds against December 2020 or January 2021.

Anyone attempting to give up on Bitcoin wasn't here pre-2017 years. Those years had so many people in doubts and those who were believed to be knowledgeable in economics were in the media screaming themselves hoarse that Bitcoin was a bubble. Now, we hardly hear those apostles of doom talk again. They've silently swallowed their words in shame. The salient thing to draw from all this is that greater days lie ahead for the crypto industry, and Bitcoin specifically.

I think I made myself clear, I highlighted it for you. I am not against selling in these recent times because I understand that most of us are now pressured. That's why I said that it was understandable if most of us sell the coins we have.

I feel sorry for you. You know what, don't regret if you think that you sell your coins too early. You did a right choice because surviving is the top priority so don't feel guilty for what you've done. Just don't give up and always look on the bright side. We can all make it :)!

Honestly unless you're a licensed financial advisor, I'm not sure you should be giving "advise" like this.  First and foremost bitcoin is a payment mechanism, a means of trade.  There is no guarantee that bitcoin is a "wealth creator" and that "not cheating the process", whatever that means, is all you have to do to become wealthy.  This is simply not true.

This is really a very good reminder for those who are new and those who are impatient on how to get profit in the Cryptocurrency industry. It is true that there are many Cryptocurrencies that are worth investing on and giving up halfway is really bad. We all know that Bitcoin alongside with other Cryptos are still being promoted internationally and investing on them is a really good decision if we plan to keep sticking to it. There are a lot of ways to earn free satoshis and some of them are mining and from satoshi faucets.

OP, if you look at the prices and news about bitcoin you will notice that people are more inclined to invest in bitcoin and continue to make their exaggerated price predictions (although I don’t agree with that, but in that time I think it’s good to think positive )

I appreciate the positiveness but you shouldnt really remove the fact that even how good the crypto market is specially with BTC but it doesnt mean that this one will be on the safe side.
Its up to a person if he do deal with crypto or not but actually it isnt created for the sole purpose of making wealth but rather it do talks about its utility and making money is just an another bonus
if you do deal with it basing of the demand of it.Majority of people do have that kind of view which i cant make blame of since making profits is one of our priorities in life.

Yes, most people just give up after the first try and that is why they never become successful. Success is not supposed to be easy or else it wouldn't be much of success, would it? The more difficult something is the more difficult it is for others to follow and do the same. If you are very good at something very rare then you will always have work and success because it is very difficult to copy. Becoming successful is something very few do. If just anyone could copy the success then the success would be worthless.

I'm glad I didn't give up when I was still earning a little satoshi during the early days, actually it introduces me to a bigger earning so it's just a stepping stone for the success that I already achieved.

We need always to remember that if we still believe that we can get there and reach our goals, we will see it happen in the future. start accumulate crypto-currencies, satoshis or coins, maybe tokens, there are
good projects for everyone's taste.
   I am doing that for the last 2 years and I believe that our time is coming. In future
it will all about crypto-currencies, it's better to get them now while its easier and cheaper.

The prices do change every time but it is a wheel of reality, whether you will be on the bottom or on the top, you will never know. All I know is that if I will not be thinking that it is hard, I will be easy-go-lucky and be surprised is it is hard for me, I might also be discouraged if that happens. Thanks for encouragement mate, as of this situation we should be more focused on the crypto world, we should stay at home because the pandemic virus is still existing, we can work at home through cryptocurrency, we now have more time than before, so we can now have more time at home. and we can spend it through some productive things like the crypto world, be more focused on crypto activities such as trading and iinvesting but you have to be careful with both things because those are risky. You may also be more focused on this forum to have more knowledge about cryptocurrency.
Actually, we cannot cheat here with this cryptocurrency, we all need to pass all the processes to become better bitcoin users. I don't think that we can do cheating here in the crypto world.

And since we don't have that much to spend our money, except for essentials that we really needed in our houses, we should be able to save some money that either we can use to invest in bitcoin or maybe save that money so in the future that bitcoin is cheaper, you can use it. Im not giving on it, despite many speculation that it might have a huge dump from predictions of traders or what they call death spiral. We've seen time and time again BTC prove those people wrong in fact the one that went to zero was a popular aaset. And that is Oil, people didn't expect it but Bitcoin remained strong despite global instability.

I read the posts in this thread and am glad that I have a lot of like-minded people, of course, there were a lot of disappointments in cryptocurrency, but the main thing that remained after several years of my communication with cryptocurrency is hope and faith. It turns out to both earn and lose, but I remain an ardent proponent of Bitcoin. I also think that you need to save cryptocurrency, moreover, selling it, even partially, is like a "crime" for me. Time and Bitcoin does not tolerate fuss and there will be rewards.

Instead of buying BTC advise people to get more shitcoins forked from BTC like BCH. LTC isn't any better since even its founder sold and abondoned the project years ago.

If you have a choice to get more BTC or get more altcoins always choose BTC unless you have so much of it that you want to gamble with some alts.
