Title: Bitcoin mixing blockchain help!
Post by: Jasonroddy on June 05, 2020, 05:53:09 AM
I sent bitcoins from Coinbase to ultramixer and now I see the bitcoin address on blockchain that I was told to send to, and my dollar figure is next to it and it says unspent. The bitcoins have not showed up to the address it was suppose to go to after mixing, instead I see it sitting on blockchain on the address the mixing sight told me to send to. How to I get my bitcoins from blockchain to send to the address I need it to go to? Thanks in advance, bitcoin rookie.

I'm not sure how it's possible to get your bitcoin back after you send it to the mixer. Have you try to contact the support from ultramixer?

But, you need to know ultramixer is knownly a scam mixer on the past https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5176363.msg52184754#msg52184754

Be sure next time to use a popular and trusted bitcoin mixers like Chipmixer or others (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827109.0)

Can you confirm that this is the website you used?
Code:
https://ultramixer.net/

If so, contact them by email
Code:
support@ultramixer.net

and pray that they will still return your funds.

Like what @Jawhead999 pointed out, it's a scam mixer.

Who told you to use this mixer? Is there an article that says it's a great mixer and you should use it?

I found one website that says this is great https://bestbitcoinmixers.com/bitcoin-mixers/ultramixer-review/ (I don't really trust this though, not to mention their mixer rank is questionable), and it shows that this website (if it's indeed what you use) has a letter of guarantee. Do you also have it?

But yeah, I bet they're still scammy so your chance of getting your funds is nearly zero (or none at all).

Yes I’ve emailed them multiple times with no answer. I’m going to take it as I got scammed. The bitcoins should have went to the address I sent them to mix it for?

You have deposit address for sending the fund. You have sent the fund there. Bitcoin should be on that address. Usually, there will be no link with your sent BTC and the one you supposed to be received.
As oer above post, it seems you have been scammed, dude. Try Chipmixer next time. They are the best in this business ATM.

Why use an unknown mixer? as you can see there were accusations and confirmed cases that it's a fake mixer. We have chipmixer and you're secure using that instead of going with that scammy mixer.

Sorry about that but it's unlikely you'll retrieve the sent coins. How did you end up using that mixer? somebody suggested you?

A page popped up with trusted mixers and they were a 5 star and suggested lowest rates. First time doing this so I guess I didn’t do my due dillegense in finding a legit one. So you suggest chipmixer? And I’m glad I only lost $287 if I did get scammed which I most definitely did.

Used chipmixer. Worked 100%. So I definitely got scammed, don’t use ultramixer if you haven’t heard already lol.

Did you get this from Google Ads or something like that? There's a ton of scammy services running ads on various platforms. I suggest you be extremely careful regardless of what you're looking for. From exchange to a wallet, there's a scam ad everywhere.

You don't depend on those next time or if you still look into those reviews, don't deposit quickly and do depth research before trusting and sending them any amount. Not only for mixers but for anything related to bitcoin.

Good. It's a lesson not just for you but for many members of the forum.

Don't do this ever. Coinbase is a centralized service and they might be against such mixing activity. They may close your account anytime if they find anything suspicious, you are of course suspicious since you are sedning BTC to mixer (No offense). So, better you use Electrum.

Unfortunately, some people learn the hard way, but the only positive thing is that fortunately the amount lost does not mean too much to you. Everything that is in any way related to finances, and especially to crypto, you need to check at least a few times before you really start using it. Crypto is unfortunately among other things ideal for a variety of scams, and mixers are very popular way to scam people.

What angers me the most is that such fraudsters get their money in a very simple and banal way, with almost no chance of being caught and prosecuted. We can only hope that justice will one day reach them, one way or another.
