Post by: Jasonshi on June 08, 2020, 03:34:04 AM
We independently developed a security hardware wallet. Can anyone tell me how to be listed by "bitcoin.org"?

bitcoin.org is open source and is the result of contributors and maintainers ceaseless efforts at keeping it informative and secure. if you want to add anything new such as a wallet you should visit the repository and read the instructions there and if that wallet meets the needed "Basic Requirements" you can open a new issue.
here is the relevant link: https://github.com/bitcoin-dot-org/bitcoin.org/blob/master/docs/managing-wallets.md

Is there a chance for you to share your project with the forum? It would be nice to see how much you have done and maybe give support towards your application to be listed in bitcoin.org. The first requirement is to have sufficient users' feedback, so why not share, right?

thanks very much!We have developed a hardware product that supports BTC, USDT, ETH and other currencies. It is very secure. Only through two-dimensional code can we communicate with mobile phones. If the wallet is broken by violence, the data in it will be cleaned up. Some of them are in line with international PCI security。I'm posting for the first time here. I don't know how to upload photos. Please take a look at this link to learn more:https://www.bying.io/hardwarewallet .

For the posting of photos, you have to be ranked as a Member and above to post a picture of any kind that is upload to an image upload service. You could purchase the Copper Membership if you really would want to.

I have seen your website, and I have to translate the page, it looks great and functional. With the anti-tampering design, if ever I have it, I would feel safe. The thin design is a plus and a big screen with a lock code like a cellphone. Well, I think it's going to be a newbie-friendly device.

Hello

You can find out more about purchasing Copper Member here. Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.msg24371150#msg24371150)

I completely agree with @crwth, the site looks very reliable and most importantly stylish, I am a big fan of site design and I really like your site.
I hope you will succeed, I will definitely try your wallet. The device itself looks like a phone, quite funny, if you walk with it on the street with 2000 bitcoins in your account, no one will even suspect it
If you need beta testers, you can contact me, contact information in my profile :)

Best regards,

To bad the price is in yen?

If google is correct, the price seems very low (~22 eur).

Also, will you be releasing your source code? Most reputable (hardware) wallets do release their source, so it can be community vetted for logical flaws, backdoors,...

It is rare to find a hardware wallet portfolio that provides a camera, screen, and many other features, but I want to know some points:

 - Anti-tamper mechanism: How does this technique work and what are the risks that could occur if someone could dismantle the parts of the wallet? Is it easy to steal a private key if there is any physical access?
 - Battery lifetime: 40 days.
 - Device specifications: Will the device withstands fall, fires, and all severe conditions?

The price looks cheap compared to the costs.

OP, you urgently need to add all of your pages on English. Chinese language as default and JPY, are not very friendly facing to non-Chinese people. Also, shop on weidian.com haven't EN options, it looks very baldly to me, and it does not instil in me the confidence that they are reliable.
Also, I agree with the previous comment here, you need to share your source code if you want to be accepted on pages like bitcoin.org, you must have feedback from real people.

I'm sorry that we don't have a Japanese version, we will improve it faster, the price on the website is RMB, and the price will be adjusted recently. I'm glad to receive your suggestion, we will open source the source code of this hardware wallet soon, so that community developers can give us suggestions and find problems.

- Anti-tamper mechanism:Our machine is totally enclosed, with several internal contacts. If we want to disassemble it violently, it will trigger the protection mechanism, which is consistent with some PCI security standards;
 - Battery lifetime: Sorry, the battery lifetime can't reach 40 days. The maximum battery lifetime is about 20 days. Our machine is very thin, so the battery capacity is not very large;
- Device specifications: We have tested the drop, generally, the drop of about one meter will not cause any problem, and even the screen will not be broken, but fire and other extreme conditions are hard to avoid. However, we will provide a mnemonic board with all kinds of extreme conditions that will not cause any problem.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. We will open source as soon as possible for community developers to supervise, and we will also more perfect our website. By the way, our website now supports English. Click "en" in the upper right corner to switch ;D

I find EN on your menu, but when I click on "buy now" button, it sends me on weidian.com website, where is only CH language. Also, why is JPY default currency? isn't it more acceptable to be a dollar, everyone around the world easy can convert from Dollar to his own local currency.
I mean, you plan to have a device to be used everywhere in the world, but you present them pretty locally.

Yes, this is something we didn't do well. Thank you for your advice. We will adjust the webpage as soon as possible to apply it to you.
