Post by: Themaster555 on June 09, 2020, 02:27:10 PM
Got a very nice domain, for example for gambling. I have absolutely no use for it and im ready to sell it for like 0.01 BTC. Not really an auction, who wants this domain can contact me betwingo@web.de

Thanks

Guys don't waste your time, this is the reply that I get after asking for an escrow:

I dont know these things i dont really want to do that. We can do 50% upfront payment and the other 50% after you have full control over the domain. So 0.005 upfront. Thanks.

dont know what to do i made you offer of 50% upfront... after that i will send you all details and once you have control over domain you will send other 50%. Thanks.

And what? You dont have to buy the domain. I dont know how this escrow things work so im not doing it. Who wants to buy can buy it its still available. But i dont use escrow. I can only make offer 50% upfront.

I can only make offer 50% upfront.

Are you sure you don't just want a 50% donation?
Sorry, but your story doesn't hold. Go find unsuspecting fools on another forums.

He doesn't own the domain.

Don't send this guy any coins. He is a small time scammer trying to maximize his profits by scamming more people.

Refuses escrow, refuses to use dan.com (because he doesn't own it. See the proof below)

Look, no one's gonna sell such a premium domain for $100. It's a trap. I don't know if OP owns it own not, but if he does, he's foolish. But what seems like, he's just a scammer. No escrow=no deal.

1. Prove you own the domain.
2. Escrow is a must, and I'm leaning with working with escrow.com.

Look, no one's gonna sell such a premium domain for $100.
It's barely a premium domain, according to .WIN domain WHOS Search (https://www.eurodns.com/whois-search/win-domain-name), it was registered in October last year, 4.5 years after the .win TLD became available (https://icannwiki.org/.win). If anyone wanted to have this domain, they would have had years to register it. Considering nobody cared about this domain for years, I wouldn't call it "premium".
Registration at Namecheap (https://www.namecheap.com/) cost $3.88 for the first year, and $25.88/yr after that. This domain was registered for 5 years, which costs slightly more than 0.01 BTC. That too makes it unlikely Themaster555 is the owner.
