So, they are still testnet coins. However, they may become mainnet tokens in the future. I don't expect much money from this, but it is interesting anyway. Better than 99% of bounties out there for sure.


Edit: I am having this problem when creating a new wallet. Anyone was able to pass it?

I also saw that in the new app update in my android. I tried to create a vault in my account but it was failing every time. Did you tried to open a vault? Was it successful?

Note: didn't tried to o open that in pc. Only tried on Reddit android app.

I opened the site on my laptop, scanned the QR Code on my iPhone Camera und everything was setup within 1 Minute.

Lets see, this has potential.

IIRC, there were news already a month ago or earlier regarding this reddit crypto.

Great infromation really i am happy something useful i found . I am not using redit from last couple of months i installed App in my mobile will try to configure . As in forbes magazine mentioned there is chance getting listed in exchanges not sure about . But it will be freely tradeable is really great news . As reddit is having great community it will be usefull for all .  I liked the introduction slides really meaningful and giving lots of hopes

Reddit has a huge community. And perhaps this news will turn out to be something grandiose if it turns out to interest most people.

Sure, a lot of people use reddit and it will surely attract a lot of new investors to this market. We have a lot of good news this year and I hope the new bull run can start as soon as possible.

I have never used Reddit (I actually read some documents and discussions on Reddit sometimes after the search engine points me to Reddit) and this news is interesting for me. I won't leave the forum because I love so much but maybe it is a beginning time to discover more about Reddit, that is legit and trustworthy in crypto too.

I remembered in 2018 April Fool Joke, theymos took some stuffs from Reddit for the joke, Karma, etc.

I scanned and nothing happened.. I was asked to create a new vault, however the app said I would lose any token I already had if I created a new one. And then asked for my seed to recover an existing one.

 Is there an option to scan within the reddit app? Can you give more details please?

Did you receive your seed or something like that? Did you had any balance?

Interesting information but what was the purpose of these two cryptocurrencies? are they tradable or just for collections while using Reddit? Anyway, interesting things usually happen without knowing it first, just like these two Reddit coins! who knows? it will be valuable soon so let's grab the opportunity to collect it now. 

Wasn't reddit have karma and gold thing as reputation? So they finally turn that into some kind of cryptocurrency that exclusive for reddit and their users. Tho I'm a bit confused of how they will put everything in work together, with thousands users, reddit could really climb to top 10 cryptos any moment if they're serious.

I don't know exactly, but people will now have more incentives to make better posts in r/Cryptocurrency.

When you get too many upvotes you will also receive Moon coin. Whatever that is...

I saw the vault and did read  a little about the reward program but I did not know it was meant to only reward r/CryptoCurrency. That is good to hear. I will go now and check it on my laptop. I will try the website rathe than the app to create the wallet.
