Nung mga nakaraang araw, napansin ko na may mga thread dito sa Local Board natin na wala namang kinalaman sa Bitcoin nor sa anything related sa crypto. Ayon kay Dabs (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=54791),
which is clearly stated na buburahin ang mga non-related sa crypto or finances. But then, may mga posts na off-topic and far connected sa required topic sa ating local board.

Gusto ko lamang isuggest na magkaroon tayo rito sa ating local board ng mga sumusunod na Child Boards:

  • Marami akong nakitang off-topic threads. Ang kagandahan kung tayo'y magkakaroon ng ganitong board is para kahit na hindi siya icount sa activities or sa mga posts na required sa ibang campaigns, atleast may board na para sa simpleng doubts or usap lang like "Ano pong mas maganda, PS5 or Gaming PC?". Ilan sa mga threads na tingin kong off-topic (pero may sense din kasi ang topic) ay ang mga sumusunod:

  • Ito rin ay isa sa mga useful na board dahil sa katunayan ngayong panahon is marami nang issues na may kinalaman sa Pulitika at Lipunan. Sa board na ito, pwede at malaya nating mailalahad ang ating saloobin sa mga nangyayari ngayon like "Saan napupunta ang utang ni Duterte?" and "Dapat bang babae pa mag adjust sa pananamit?". Ang mga sumusunod naman na thread ay tingin kong pasok sa ganitong board:

Ang mga threads na nabanggit ay tunay na magaganda naman ang content and ang thought, pero dapat bumalik din tayo sa fact na kabilang ito sa mga off-topic and non-related threads sa crypto. Madami din akong gustong gawing thread na Off-topic like mga I.T related questions and mga kinalaman sa nangyayari ngayon sa ating bansa partikular na sa issue sa gobyerno at mga thoughts ko sa mga nagrarally. :D

Kahit itong post na to ay pwede sa Pilipinas > Meta eh. lol.

Yung pinned topic ni Dabs is the right place to discuss suggestions for child boards. Lock mo na lang ito at lipat mo na lang dun yung suggestion.

Gaya ng sinabi ko, iniiwasan ko ang pagpopost sa mga old threads na kasi ito ay Necro bumping. And if pinost ko ito doon, magiging risky ang aking account sa Ban. I hope you understand na iniingatan ko lang na hindi ako maban sa pagbubump ng mga old posts. Also, gusto ko ding malaman kung agree ba ang ilan nating mga kababayan sa aking idea and kung mali ako sa mga points sa sinabi ko.

When I said it is the right place, I didn't think na kailangan ko pa spell out na hindi yun necrobumping basta relevant yung post mo. That topic was specifically created for childboard suggestions.

One more thing, if you are too concerned, pwede mo naman PM muna mod natin before posting.

May sasagot naman ah (gaya ko) kahit dun sa pinned thread ka mag-suggest/mag-tanong.

OP I think your intention is good and this thread has been prepaped well as I can the effort of your topic to open this up.

_{OP 100% I support your idea very well said pero sigurado dadaan pa ito sa maraming deliberation. Also okay din kung maretain itong thread mo and hear opinions of other Filipino users about this. Normally hindi kasi mapapansin nga naman sa sticky thread ng ibang users yung topic but of course Moderators decision too kung imemerge ba or ilolocked ito. Some were also doing creation of new thread kahit may existing na about dun but with a formal post like this, I think it can be retained}.

If we see countless threads like that then I think diyan lang mag take action si Mr. Big na gumawa ng panibagong child board and if he ever permitted by theymos too. Sa tingin ko mukhang hindi pa oras para diyan maybe you need to report it to Mr. Big on where this threads really appropriate or he can merge it as well sa mga topic na may pagkakapareho sa mga nauna.

Alam nyo madali lang naman magkaroon ng new section/s dito sa local board natin eh, ang problem nga lang hindi natin pwede ma "justify" kay theymos na yung activity natin sa local board is indeed worth it for him to create a new section for our local board. Yung unang concern kasi dito is yung lack of activity, it took Dabs for a while just to gather some votes para mapakita kay theymos yung demand para sa bagong section pero how long did it take? mahigit ng tatlong taon just to gather 100+ votes, yes nakuha nga natin yung Marketplace section natin pero kung titignan niyo ngayon sya (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=268.0) masasabi mo bang active section sya sa local board natin? Diba hindi? Sana lang before we demand something dapat talagang gamitin natin ito and hindi lang basta makahingi or makahirit sa forum kasi pag dumating talaga yung time na need natin ng ibang sections baka lalo tayong mahirapan with the lack of activity the sections that we requested have. If gusto niyo talagang mag post ng off-topic pwede naman kayo mag-paalam kay Mr. Big about it.

Maganda ang suggestion mo but hindi pa masyadong ganun kalaki ang board natin dahil iilan palang ang tunay na poster dito at kung makitaan ng demand regarding sa pagbubukas ng bagong section for sure pagbibigyan yan ni theymos pero sa ngayon dun muna tayo sa assigned post mag lagay ng sa loobin ukol sa gusto nating paksa na naangkop sa mga off topic na tema.

Off topic/ Politics and Society, hindi related sa cryptocurrency, I don't think that we need a spam board... Mapupuno lang yan ng kung ano anong not related sa cryptocurrency, for post counts sake...

Dapat kahit politics and society may connection pa rin sa cryptocurrency ang mga threads, hindi tungkol kung kanikaninong mga Poncio Pilato...

Yung mga nababasa niyo outside the forum about politics, mga "current events" sa mga dyaryo, pupwede naman, kasi di naman yan tumatagal, and napapansin din naman ng mga matagal na dito na "PILIT" na lang yung post sa thread, and that's the time na oras na para ilock...

Meta threads/ beginners and Help - sandali lang to mawala, once na na resolve na ang issue, no need na humaba pa ang discussion...
