" I have never killed anyone, but I have read some obituary notices with great satisfaction." -- Clarence Darrow.

(Often wrongly attributed to Mark Twain)

My $.02.

I've never heard that one before. I'll have to tuck it away in my memory banks, lol!

Did you watch Phillip DiFranco's latest video by any chance? But yeah, Darrow said a lot of witty and wise stuff. Seems like he was a decent guy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clarence_Darrow

"Clarence Seward Darrow (April 18, 1857  – March 13, 1938) was an American lawyer and leading member of the American Civil Liberties Union, best known for defending teenage thrill killers Leopold and Loeb in their trial for murdering 14-year-old Robert "Bobby" Franks (1924), for defending Ossian Sweet, and defending John T. Scopes in the Scopes "Monkey" Trial (1925), in which he opposed William Jennings Bryan (statesman, noted orator, and three-time presidential candidate). Called a "sophisticated country lawyer",[2] he remains notable for his wit, which marked him as one of the most famous American lawyers and civil libertarians.[3]"

Hadn't heard of Phillip DiFranco until your reply but I'm taking a look around.

Thanks for the tip!

I feel like I posted about a nickel and it dissipated ah my thought of the day
Realizes I time traveled back a day before that post and this was all an illusion in hindsight yet in foresight
As a parallel paradox occurs

Nope, that was actually just Will I Am lol. It's funny how quotes get misatributed a lot.

Guess where this is from :)

“My life amounts to no more than one drop in a limitless ocean. Yet what is any ocean, but a multitude of drops?”

I really disliked that book. Incredibly difficult to get in to. One of the few books I never finished. Still need to see the film, hopefully that'll make more sense.

That quote is sort of dark but clever all at once.  Even though I can't really relate to it on a personal level I do find myself rather intrigued by it.  thanks for sharing.
