Why this coin has huge rise even though it doesn't have maximum coins.


What actually compound coin increasing why........?

This is the token of popular defi Compound Finance. They have a total supply of 10M coins if you meant that.
This is a new coin and they are awarding it to the users of compound finance dapp. I don't have exact idea about what features the coin holders would enjoy but they say it to be the governance token that would allow COMP token-holders and their delegates debate, propose, and vote on changes to the protocol.

I was shocked to see this COMPOUND token surge over 200$ today, i think it's too late investing right now until dump takes over, buying right now will be suicide, I will wait for dump and take advantage, I'm positive about DeFi projects

Yeah it is seriously going insane. The coin is launched just three days ago with the opening cost per coin of $64.00 and now rose by 131% yesterday and 51% today. I guess this could be initial investments made by fan base and also some governing people.

This is way to risky to invest at this stage since it as already gone up by 95% since the time of launch price. Usually you do have chance when projects are just launched and people are trying to get QUICK bucks. But I guess its 50-50 chance at this stage.

I tried finding the news about it but seems hard luck.

I am also waiting if someone update with solid proof of this project.

Maybe you can ask the team in their Telegram group if they have any, i also saw some people talking about it in a telegram group am part of, it was such a big rise at this time where many project are not doing very well, to think that comp was as high as $231 and now correct back to $197 at current price is really surprising, although it has very small supply, total supply is 10 million out of which 2.6 million is in circulation, I guess because it is a decentralize finance project is the reason why there is much interest.
@op you can do your research and understand the project more better to know why the price has risen so much all of a sudden.

If you are looking for the newest eye catching crypto project in 2020 it's decentralized Finance ( DeFi ), all eye are on DeFi projects, people are rushing to buy them, investors are more attracted to these projects, yes it's a good buy but can't advice you to buy while price is surging

Looks like the project has been trading for less than a week, so most probably the prices are pumped up by the early investors. Whether its worth to invest? I wouldn't pay such a high-price for it. But it's up to you to do your own research before planning to invest in it.  

I was also quite surprised with this project, this is a new project but it quickly went into the top 24 coinmarketcap. Obviously this is a big project this year, Btw I don't know what its initial price. Looking at coinmarketcap I see they have increased 112% compared to the original price

FOMO works for the Defi projects, it started with synthetix network months ago.


it will be dumped soon, but its got to go up still after the dump. investors prefer to invest the defi projects right now than the once we thought are years ago. you'd be left behind if you keep bagging the old coins. new technology is rising.  ;D

That is right compound token started growing up, but none can predict what will happen after many weeks. Maybe it can start dumping again, because of that it is not the best time to invest in the compound token. It can be more profitable to wait for price dumping, the price of Compound rose up 53.51% up. It is really great movement for this token.

I just heard about this COMPOUND token and it costs around $ 221.84 now. If converted then in the last 24 hours this coin has increased by 56% and may still continue. yes, I think you are right if investing When high prices are not a good decision, it will only make you suffer losses after this big pump.

If you are referring to total supply which I think you are because most of the times it can still be called maximum supply; hence the total supply is 10,000,000 COMP while the circulating supply is 2,561,279 COMP, it is right there on the coinmarketcap website. Also, as to the reason why a coin will increase massively can be attributed to the news or event the team bears which could be a platform upgrade, mainnet, new partnership, achieving a major milestone, endorsements, new exchange listing and it goes on. So one or more of these can make a coin to increase massively in price.

Hell yes since it's a decentralize finance project but buying when pump is on will be a huge mistake, take your time because it's certain that price will drop later, wait it out and see for yourself, don't ever buy coins when they are surging

This depends on how the project "Compound" performs going forward now. I expect the pump to continue until the hype die down and there would then be a price delivery but what it is of concern to me is that people value this project higher than MakeDAO

It's indeed the rave of the moment, didn't even notice it, not until I saw people screaming,and the price keeps increasing, I only know it's a defi project, but investing now might be good or bad but just watch and follow up for a retrace then you can invest in it.

CMC has just listed it like couple of days ago and it is booming really well after that, the main reason is that it is seen as a good solution against the existing crypto finance or banking platforms because compound is a decentralized platform and people are expecting that they will not see the blunders they have seen in some of the centralized projects, secondly, i will also suggest community to not get into FOMO just wait for a good entry if you want to buy and hold compound.

The price is almost equal to what Ethereum is right now so i would definitely not buy now at these prices, yes the project looks good and exciting but it is just one small project even Eth network can offer these services within their network with small scale coding and programming, personally its shocking to see this price tag for compound and it reminds me of last bull run where many coins had unrealistic values, i am not against this project, i fully support it but the price seems overvalued to me to be realistic.

There is nothing wrong in wanting to invest in compound coin, its a defi and working absolutely fine with a good price too.
But this is a wrong time to invest in compound coin because it has experienced a huge pump and also close to its ath.

COMPOUND DEFI Project is good enough but what's most important is the timing, this is not the right time to jump in, wait for price dump before buying, it will surely happen again since it's volatile, have patience and track price

I'm a little bit surprised when realizing the price of the coin. Actually, the Compound coin is new for me, I don;t concern on this coin. It is on the 24th rank of CMC with a high trading volume. It is wow to see its increase by around 38.43% and now it has reached $221.87 USD, almost reaching ETH price. Is this coin a real use case? If it is yes, this coin should have a worthier future for development and also holding.

It has all the attributes of a huge project and that has been seen on how well it has performed in terms of price increment these past couple of days. However, at this point, it best to wait for price correction and pull back before buying in to avoid buying the top and watching it crash on you. It has already pumped to great heights and investing at this point may not be a good idea. Exercise some patience and buy in when it drops a bit.

It an asset offer DEFI, loan service and give their hold daily rewards base on their holding but they seems to manage the token price well by paying rewards with DAI,USDT, Augur etc.
I don't know the reason why it rise previously despite the status of the market but coin like this shouldn't be invest in for long term to incase. Nevertheless, it has a max supply of 10,000,000 COMP.

Yes, i noticed the token price momentum but my advise to you is never invest crypto base on it existing trends which does not guarantee the crypto future and for better understand the project was listed on capital market 3days ago.

that's a crap coin without liquidity and when you are investing in it and I guess someone will dump your money and you will be trapped on that shitcoin. A huge gap between sell and buy orders have made a coin can get a huge increase instantly.

I might turn out to wrong but COMP skyrocketed really really quick so we can expect a healthy correction in it.
Let's see what will happen once any big exchange decides to add COMP.

It was listed only few days ago. Looks like they ordered some sort of wash trading and thats why volume is so big

well, I also think like that, indeed you should be more careful when you want to buy a coin, you should be able to see what is developed in the project and see how the interaction between demand is at the exchange place.

That's really insane to see a new project come in the top 25 coinmarketcap just like that. Though I think people will realize the hype and the price will going down and stabilize but still, that will be a great boost to any defi projects on the market now.

I also see that the liquidity of this project is too low. If only 1,000-2000 coins were sold, I think its price would drop to $ 100-150. Be careful when investing in projects like this, it's too dangerous to be able to invest in it

even a decline can be worse. Current market conditions only believe in top market assets is the best choice. investing in shitcoin will waste our money and it will be useless.

Its one of the lending platforms out the defi, it got a lot of support in the community actually which resulted in lots of minted DAI for lending. Most users including me didn't realize how the DEFI developments go until I look at the Jarvis token I got last year. And I was only interested to Bitcoin like the maximalist here that is why I missed the development in Defi platforms.

Yes, Compound is indeed a new coin that has entered the CMC site, and I am also a bit surprised why the volume has increased so sharply, even though Compound coins are only listed on a number of medium and non-top exchanges, and for now the price has also begun to decline a little, which is in the range of $ 208.37 USD (-4.53%) at CMC.

Holy!! the price pumped another 70 bucks as of writing the price is now sitting at $301 with this pump $COMP is now ranked #19 on coinmarketcap. Whoever invested in $COMP early made a killer profit.

I think there are several ways to avoid regrets that might occur by buying when the price of a coin falls and after that you can hold it back until the price goes up because when the price goes up it is a very appropriate moment to sell it whereas if buying when the price is high will only keep you stuck at high prices.

Compound coin has pump beyond expectations but considering the circulating supply of the coin and the fact that its a DEFI project that has high demand currently I think there is still room for it to grow more, I won't be surprised if it reaches x2 - 3 of its current price

DeFi projects are the future, it will be a wise move to hold one or two Defi projects in your portfolio, the earlier the better before scammers start creating their own fake DeFi projects. The most profitable projects this year so far are DeFi projects, that's how demanding they are, Compound project have grow bigger, I don't like buying coins when they are surging though, probably wait it out, price drop can still happen

The coin is still rising up to now, current price is $310, it has a nice volume especially in MXC exchange, but not sure if this exchange is reputable or not. Per CMC, the exchange  is listed with 100% confidence.. anyone here who are using this exchange? What can you say about the exchange based on your experience?

COMP keeps surging makes it more scary for me to buy some, who knows when price will dump? I don't want to get stucked in ATH when price makes a U-turn, I will keep waiting is out and if it never goes back down then I will find other altcoin

It was in CMC and that it pertains to something that this coin has market potential and investors are taking it already. The surge makes us surprise coz we are not expecting a new coin to show an impressive uprising trend and we thought that this is just hype.

It's too risky to buy this coin right now as it has already traded above the ico price and it can go down anytime. The latest chart has been showing us how bad the dump that can happen anytime to the compound. If people wanna take a big risk and it's not a big problem for them all to buy this.

It does not automatically mean that way, if you carefully looked at all the coins listed in CMC, majority of them have already failed, they are just waiting for an exchange to delist them and they are gone as they would lose their volume which is the only reason why they are still listed in CMC.

That's true, if a coin is listed in CMC doesn't mean they have market potential. Just look all those coins that are now labeled as Untracked Listing in CMC. Be careful in this rising trend as it maybe a trap to those that don't know about the project. If you really want to know the reason behind its increasing trend, take a look at its use case. Maybe they are just selling news here but no actual development is happening. As an investor, it is your job to study a specific coin before you jump on it.

That was surprising for a new coin to behave that way, people see it was a trap which is a thing we can't set aside in fact, it happens already many times and that is why we need to be careful about this. Not only it listed in CMC it gives the assurance but to see it was just new to the market without back-up support from any exchanger just like BNB coin, people will keep their doubts and the least thinking negative to it. And I have to think the same.

People should get to this unless they can sustain the current momentum and that to prove something that this coin is worth buying and could be trusted.

Some people have been confirming if they were losing about more than 20% instantly due to the latest dump that happened with compound.

Defi has a lot of demand but I'm not sure if compound will always get a huge demand like this in a long term. I doubt about that.

You're right, DeFi project more popular right now, even though prices soar very fast doesn't mean we need to follow FOMO and finally buy at the top. Very risky. Painful moments sometimes many people get trapped without analyzing.

Been using MXC exchange for a past couple of months to trade a few coins/tokens that are only available in MXC and so far I had no trouble Deposit, withdrawal and trades all were smooth.

I think the time for investment has gone. It is now too risky to buy COMP coin as has already shown a huge growth. It is better to search for other opportunities.

Before now I didn't know much about the project until I started seeing discussions and chats about it in many groups because of its price increase, where some said it is because of its new listing on an exchange that's what caused the price rise. However, on checking further about the project I found out that it is a decentralized finance or DeFi project, and recently people have started developing interest in DeFi projects, so I think the nature of the project also contributed to the massive growth. Lastly, it has a maximum supply of coins or total supply of coins which according to coinmarketcap is 10,000,000 COMP.

Im sure about that and when people are investing in compound this time like people are trying to short the market. They can get a dump from the big players instantly and they can lose their money instantly.
Compund looks over valued right now

There are many coins are available In Market But I will prefer only Exchange coins Because These coin can gives us good profit and these coins grow very fast. In my research i have found one exchange which name is  Injective Protocol which is fully dentralized exchange and looking good potenial in this project

That's right, it's too risky to invest in this altcoin at the moment. Its price has risen too high and could collapse anytime soon, we'd better look for other opportunities to invest and make a profit.

We can see the latest chart of https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/compound/ and it looks the chart has been showing a signal for the correction to come as soon as possible and we must be careful to avoid the trap. It's overvalued right now and I can sure if it can be a bulltrap

I just saw after you posted this, it looks a bit hype but I don't think there is any harm in investing if you want to get profits quickly.

I saw at cmc All time low on June 18 the price was 61 $ and rose to the highest on the 21st to 381 $.

I am also sure it will have a adjusted in the future. So be really careful when investing in it, the price has gone up too high and if collapsed, many people will lose money with it. Look for other altcoins at the bottom and hold

this is a governance token that means a lot to the owners and investors. it has a total supply of 10m tokens and very small circulating supply of about 2m plus. i cant expect less from this token. i will put more attention to it. its a rare gem.

DEFI projects are the new sheriff and boss in town. COMP has done amazingly well and rightly so too. It remains to be seen how it does in the long run. For now, i will suggest you wait for it to retrace before going fully in. It has pumped massively these past couple of days and going in now may not be a wise decision being that, it will likely retrace before another rally.
