You can deal with someone on Digital goods  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0)who's interested with those gift cards. What are those gift card of yours to be specific?
There is also this platform that you can trade that.
https://www.coincola.info/buy-bitcoin/gift-cards

Like the other user suggested, you can try the Digital Goods section on this forum. Use an escrow, but still selling gift card is a bit complicated. Like, what if the user claims that the card isn't working after redeeming it or it doesn't really works? There is no way to proof either anyone of you guys are saying the truth, hence the escrow can't do much over here and just be lost. The best way to trade over here is to build a reputation first. Try trading with trusted users over here. Another way might be make him redeem the code through team viewer or something (sounds absurd, i know lol).
You can always set up those AutoShops, but most people don't trust them.

I lost 100$ once selling a gift card, after the other guy redeemed the card he claimed he never did, this is why exchanging gifts cards are extremely dangerous, you can easily lose money

Paxful have too many bad reviews from users I think that's why OP already said not to mention paxful, many lost their gift cards on that website

You need to be careful in a transaction like this, it is prone to a scam that might your money quickly lost in a single snap. So, be vigilant about this especially if you are trading with random people on the internet.

Have you tried Localbitcoins.net, I heard they are the best alternative aside from Paxful.

How about Bitof.io? They had ANN thread here before but no one gets interested. [ANN] Bitof.io - the new giftcard to BTC exchange service (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5124542.0). As I heard, they let you convert your gift cards into crypto in minutes. Still, there is risk mange your own risk about this.

You can deal with someone on Digital goods  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0)who's interested with those gift cards.
I tend to agree, this is the most safer method of exchanging your giftcard.

You can buy bitcoins with your gift cards on p2p sites like localbitcoin and Bisq. There are some exchanges also offers the same feature but I will go with peer to peer for trading our gift cards where you can get better deals.

Using p2p can sometimes lead to loss of your gift cards. The reason the rate those safe websites, who serve as middlemen offer is because they most times bear the risk of whatever might happen. I am sure they also confirm the authenticity of the card to be gifted. Also, some countries where they have people offering such service on social media platforms, but those serving as escrows must be well-trusted persons. The OP can look for those that offer the service in his country, if he does not want to deal on exchanges, because of the low rate offered.

Paxful is much prefarable but there is high rate of ripping as I have heard of so much complains from people using it. You can try coincola although I haven't used them before but it seems to be reliable and worth trying out. You can Google about them for reviews.

Yes, this is the only way for him as an untrusted new trader. Find any long time, trusted trader to trade and build up your reputation, op.

I can't recommend paxful, here are other ways you can either buy or sell your gift cards for Bitcoin

1. Egifter.com
2. Localbitcoin
3. Coincola.com

All the best

Selling gift cards isn't very ideal for bitcoin because GCs can be remotely deactivated from the provider while BTC is always non-refundable.
People are very suspicious of gift card sales for this reason. They are also often stolen or bought with stolen credit cards etc.

If you have the physical card in pictures you'll almost always get a better price for it. You can also try the Reddit community. It has an web of trust, although not as extensive as in here and not as many BTC users.

I think there is no website that is offering conversion of Gift card to the Bitcoin or Ethereum. But, you can find the vice-versa like Bitcoin or any crypto to Gift card purchase. Amazon also offering Gift cards from Bitcoin.

Exchange gift card is risk job, sometimes rippers will tell you the card is not valid and sometimes the card has been used by someone else. The best tings is to get groups on telegram or what's app. That's very fast because they will change your gift card to btc within few minutes. I don't think there is any site that trade card to btc..

Exchanging gift card is quite a risky venture owing to the fact that there is a potential for one to make losses if trading with an unscrupulous individual. The best way out is to build relationships and reputation with trusted partners or organisations who you trust with your gift cards.

I’m always careful about such offers coming from  individuals. How can one be sure those gift cards are not stolen ones and not blocked? I think the only way to find out that is to use them which imposes the risk on the buyer to be nuked at the service. IMO, would be too risky affair for me.
Escrow.
Funds will be on the escrow while the gift cards will be sent first to the buyer. The buyer will try the gift cards and if it's working then the escrow can release the funds to the owner of those gift cards. CMIIW.
There could be some other methods that can be worked on with the help of an escrow.

This is the reason the reputation is very vital not just here in the forum but also for websites. Trading gift cards is as dangerous as buying or selling online especially when you are the one who are going to transfer first, this might be just end in a usual manner, scammed. Paxful has a lot of complaints, more and more people are losing money due to the policy that they are implementing. If you don't want to use any of the service provider you can just contact any reputable person here to trade with if they want to.

You are just so right, I have tried it on paxful before and it went well, on paxful and other exchmges that orobide esrow service, you will see a reputation or trust score, I sell or buy from people with positive reputation with no negattive one, and paxful itself will escrow the fund. Also on some sites like this forum, it is a thing that can be done successfully with the use of escrow as well.

As someone who has never used such a website or service before, I would like to say that you should not rely too much on such services. Since you can send crypto money anonymously, you can send directly to the other side instead of buying such ridiculous gift cards. This will both be safer for you and you will definitely know that your gift has reached the other side. I would definitely recommend not to process gift cards or the like, the probability of getting defrauded is very high in such cases.

Why donīt you like Paxful? It is one of the most trusted crypto exchange workings since 2015 accepting more than 300 ways of deposits. Or you can try Bitify, it is a marketplace with the escrow option, so we can say that it is pretty safe because you donīt have to rely only on positive reviews.  :)

@OP said that we shouldn't mention paxful. I don't know the reason, maybe he has a bad experience with that platform. I haven't used that platform but if there's another p2p transactions platform for this kind of dealing, bitcointalk is the best choice.
A lot of reputable escrow are willing to help to make sales happen from strangers to strangers. But of course, there's a relative fee for their service but it isn't that much to make the the deal safe.

You can try Coincola's gift card trade section which also has escrow service included in their platform. Although I don't have any firsthand experience with the platform this might be your best option of trading your gift cards away for cryptocurrencies but the catch is most offers for gift cards are on pennies on a dollar (highest they have is for iTunes gift cards at .85:1$) which I don't think you will like as a hodler so maybe posting your own offer in the digital goods section might be a good idea for you to start with.

You can try the Digital Goods section on this forum. It is very important to use escrow. The best might be if you post at some local trade forum and meet the person you want to exchange your gift card with face2face

Why do you need to go for other websites to do this exchange? Have you ever checked the Marketplace sub-forum? You can check the currency exchange sub-section:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0

There are a lot of active threads, where you can exchange your gift-cards for either Bitcoin or Ethereum. And the best part is that you can get much better deals and the chances of someone scamming you is very slim.
