Title: Thead for listing malware posters. Post by: DaveF on June 22, 2020, 05:10:09 PM So, since when you post a flag for someone if you link to a specific post in a thread it only links to the top to the thread not the post I created this for me to link to so I can just reference this post and the name of the person posting malware.
This way it's just 1 link and you can find it instead of a separate post for each user as they post malware. Post by: coupable on June 23, 2020, 11:10:54 PM It's a great initiative. But i can't really see a reason to create such a topic as almost all those users posting malwares are newbies who should be nuked. Maybe you can just list old profiles used to post those links.
However, there is already a topic in Meta where users can report malware and suspecious links posted in different boards: Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action ! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5182222.0) Now you have to collect all the profiles mentioned in that topic and add them to your list, which is a hard task though. Post by: Timelord2067 on June 25, 2020, 03:00:36 PM Am posting to follow and also to say up till now I've simply been clicking the "report to moderator" - surprisingly, they will take almost instantaneous action on malware, but won't take any action on shit posters, or dozens of instances of bump posting (that the mods leave "unhandled" through indecision ::) )

Newbie accounts like using popular member names that only add a few characters to distinguish them. There is no reason for me to follow the link they provide. But it must remain vigilant, because it will be very dangerous if the malware infects our device. Maybe this thread can continue to be updated to find out the accounts that make posts containing malware. |
