This is one the the hype coin. Yesterday they were listed on Binance and today Kucoin and Coinbase list them. It seems like this coin are getting a lot of attention, why too many investors and exchange are interested with them? Is there some unique approach by this project to be that in demand only in span of time? Any thoughts on this project?

Anyhow there will be huge price strike as it listing in big exchanges . Currently its not found in Coinmarketcap also i dint find any active exchanges . I dint see much exciting this in protocol there is already several with the same or nearly similar approach . I hope its just hype coin we can take the opportunity of this hype if we really taking short time target and risk .But there will be  risk associated with .

Compound taking the DeFi world by storm is one thing that blows my mind. The number of exchanges that have declared support for the COMP token in barely a week time is mindblowing

This is good coming from a Defi project and it will surely channel a good attention to Defi projects henceforth. The price after getting listed on Coinbase was massive and with Binance and Kucoin already in play shows there is more to expect from the project. Nevertheless just like the crypto space is unpredictable, anyone investing should carryout his due diligence to be on the safer side. Lastly, with attention moving to Defi projects now, all thanks to Compound, scammers will likely arise hence let due diligence be done always.

Which Compound are we talking here? Because there are two in existence, and I don't know if this is the original.

Quite confusing and misleading to be honest.

that's happening when it can be considered as a great project but i think too much parties who are overhyping compound. I know that the investors have been making very good return from there but when a coin like compound was getting listed on major exchange and the small exchange will follow to listing it too.

I see that this is the reason why it triggered DEFI token again, backing up by big names in crypto, well, I am checking DMG which has more room for growth, unlike this, just saying

The original is what I bolded, and the one listed on KuCoin is the original Compound which has very high hype lately.

And what it makes so unique? There are hundreds of working Defi projects, that do not need their own blockchain. They just built Defi projects on working platforms like Ethereum, Tron, or NEO. Personally I would trust MakerDao only because a history as proof that it is safe even the market crashed, while many new Defi projects have been hacked or destroyed.

I think binance have lost his juice effect on new listed coins, when COMP was listed on binance days ago the value goes down, I was expecting a new pump but none, instead the price goes down, I think OKEX and Gate are getting better than binance this days, am I wrong?

I dont think there's fake or original in the two compound since they are both genuine project but making waves than each other. However, the misconception is caused by the new compound that offer DeFi because they ought to use different ticker which will differentiate them from the old compound project and if the old compound is aware of this they may sue them.

Yes, you're wrong. Understand that an exchange site does not contribute to the surge in price of any crypto if no trading competition hold and what listing a coin on big exchange does is giving the coin good exposure and liquidity for it was the traders decision about the coin that define the trend of the coin.
This is the reason why exchange site introduced trading competition so that traders can learn more about the coin potentials.

Yes, the hype is very much alive in the Compound project, tag as one of the numerous projects that offered a Defi decentralized finance options, now it was listed on the multiple decent volume exchanges the latest is Kucoin, I hope that people are still aware that too much hype, is not good especially in the crypto industry as I observe the price continued to decline after listed on Binance lets see what happens next after the Kucoin listing.

Who else thinks COMP is just another overhyped token? Well, That's what I thought at first until I checked out what the project entails. A quick look at their github repository made me have a second thought. Compound Protocol is actively been distributed to members of their community who use the protocol. I see why all exchanges are rushing to get their hands on it.  At the time of writing this, both Binance and Coinbase have both listed COMP tokens.

The price peaked somewhere around $350 with a marketcap over $800+,  impressive.

But isn't it that someone copy exactly the token name and the ticker or symbol? So that's blatantly copying so there is a fake and original here. And if the Defi project has good intention, they should have research the market first and see if they are going to step on someone's project name. Unfortunately, they didn't so it might backfire on them in the future as it may mislead investors.

Interested offer by listing and giving reward, but depend with investor way how to manage and try to make COMP coin on the top price or keep lower price, I think depend how developer manager their coin and never all their supply coin, will make price down and give bad thing for investor to buy COMP coin or hold it.

hype but listing on large and well-known exchanges such as binance kucoin, okex, I think this is a good project even though the beginning aroused suspicion because of the very high rise and fall.

You are wrong about this. i should remind you that binance was even bigger than gate or okex and i doubt if that will create a new hype again as the hype was happening when it was listed on binance.

The coin had already pumped hard enough from the rumors of it's probable listing on binance and other popular exchanges and the slight decrease is no surprise. The growth has been spectacular in last few months much more than the growth happening on the Defi itself and the price loss was just a small correction.

All I can say after watching this project this couple of days is compound has given the investors a very good profit this past few days, there is no cause for alarm, this is what everyone wants, it is not about the tech but about maximizing profit, anyone thinking to get in on this project now should really think carefully because compound has already hit ATH so it would be probably not hit that amount soon, but this is crypto anything can happen.

We can jump into conclusion if the second COMP project do copy the first token name, ticker and symbol but we do know they didn't search if the market first if there's a project that already used the name.
I think it better to notify them about this before it backfires l their project.

This project has great hype maybe due to the fact that big investors are now targetting DeFi based projects and we have already seen that most of the projects and their tokens are performing really well from last few months or so, the interest and hype is on the rise and people are taking it as the next big thing and also considering these projects as true alternative to traditional banking and finance, lets see how true it will get in couple of more years.

I would suggest the same. Don't wait for the price to skyrocket because it may not happen. As long as you are in the positive, better cash it out and never look back. I have the feeling that it will not be long and they will go down as like others. Stay safe with your investments!

The two projects actually have different name (one of "compound" while the other is "compound coin") and they only share the same ticker which can also be call symbol.
I believe the two project teams are aware of the situation which why the have different name.

I'm not weird when a new coin/project that just listed in some exchanges will meet an increasing price a lot because it is the usual thing that always happens in crypto currency. As many people predicted above me, they're right. You can see its price just decreasing in all exchange (binance and kucoin), a dump for almost 15% in 24 hours has pointed out that the pumping season has already done and we can see its price back to original price $200 or even it will be lower than that, interesting to see.
